Krystal had walked for many miles not knowing if she was getting closer to Fox or just father away. But that at the moment didn't matter as much as her appetite. She was starving and she wanted to eat something. Even if the something wasn't as good as human food. Then she heard a rustling in the bushes. With a brash move, she dove into the bushes and caught a bird. She studied it. The bird had pearly black eyes and a gorgeous pale blue complexion. Similar to her coat, but hers was darker.

She wondered if she was allowed to eat the bird. On what used to be her home planet birds were sacred creatures. She wondered if Earth birds were sacred too. So she let if go as to not displease anyone. She sighed a sigh only a creature of her kind could make, slumping down with a pang of pain in her stomach. And another pang of pain, in her heart for loosing Fox.

Fox many miles away, was cold. He hadn't expected to stay so long on Earth so he hadn't brought anything warm. He wondered if Krystal was just as cold.

He looked up at the starry sky in awe and amazement. This planet seemed to be one of very few which got a good look at the night sky. However invisible to most creature Fox could see a coat of smog covering the atmosphere. He knew that if humans kept using what most aliens call death fuels or oil for short, that eventually things would go bad and there would be no going back. A good example was the red planet next to Earth. Once it too had water and valley and some pyramids, but a species of some type ruined it and a very large volcano, now a mountain, turned the whole planet red.

Fox was a bit saddened that any species would inflict their own home planet harm, especially with nowhere to go. Well in the humans case, they seemed to lack any means of space travel. Sure they had some satellites and stuff but nothing to get them faster then light. But that wasn't his problem his problem was trying to find a way to fix the ship, get food, and find Krystal. But soon, he fell asleep doing none of his activities.
