Most paint him to be a brat that doesn't understand the responsibility of his title as the crowned prince. Others think him to be spineless and that he's disrespectful to his step-father and his mother. However this is because none of the servants have seen him enough to know his true personality. Which is that Ren is actually very kind hearted and sweet, he is not a cruel person nor is he a brat like people say he is. He just is reluctant to accept that he now lives in the lap of luxury whilst others are struggling to survive. Which causes him to appear bratty as he shuns the luxuries and duties that come with being a prince.

His mother was a simple commoner who ran a bakery, having won the kings heart with her kindness and good cooking. When she died Ren took it really hard, and it didn't help that he had so many duties as the crowned prince. He didn't want to be a prince, especially not now that his mom is dead.
This character can work in many AU's/fandoms that may possibly have a crowned prince in them with only a minimal amount of tweaking to his form. His face claim is unknown to me.

1) You were Ren's bodyguard for only a year now, and you never understood why so many bodyguards quit on the prince. To you he seemed like a perfectly normal prince, albeit a bit annoyed with his position and everything that comes with it. You only recently found out why so many guards have quit on Ren. Because one night when you heard a voice coming from the prince's room you went to investigate, obviously concerned that someone may be trying to hurt the prince. However upon arrival you saw the prince sneaking out of his window into the dead of night wearing a cloak to conceal his identity. What will you do?
