Sudden
As the new normal, the sun rises up without the chariot of Helios. Daylight breaks over the temple of Ephesus.
Feet hurry. Hermes was the only one to hear the crackle before it struck down on them.
The heat of Zeus' masterbolt tears his body apart molecule by molecule as he runs back and forth to get everyone and their items out.
The Olympian gods and mortals are astounded as they arrive near the shore of Asia Minor. Their mouths collectively drop from the black cloud surrounding the temple.
Crack!
The temple is obliterated without a moment's notice. The heat of the bolt melts it all down, not leaving a trace of it behind. The mortals fall to the ground from the tremors while the Olympians raise a barrier to contain the shocks. Sparks resulting from the explosion knock against the barrier.
Takashi clutches Helena close to him, refusing to let go. "Zone-"
The shaking stops, but it wasn't what interrupted him. His pupils waver along with everyone else's. Hermes' body sparks from what he did to save them. Sharp gasps of air leave his burnt lips. He kicks off his fluttering sandals at Dionysus.
Artemis rushes over to heal him with heavy tears dripping down. A glowing hand within arm's reach. His body turns to ashes, leaving his burnt cloak on the ground. His helmet softly falls on it.
The Huntress' wail pierces the sky. Taki's legs buckle underneath him from another loss. Tears finally break from his loved ones, but there isn't any time. Narrowed eyes are focused on the King who hovers above them all.
A metal gauntlet is on his right arm with musical notes inscribed to insult the one who damaged him.
Fur forms over Artemis' body as she snarls from the many heartbreaks she endured for so long. Sharp pointed claws on her hands and feet. Her nose and jaw elongate to form a snout. Nature at its full display. A lycanthrope that wants to rip his throat out. Waves beat upon the shore to lend her strength. She inhales the winds to not waste a breath.
"Why do you waste your time defending a stranger over your own family?!", Zeus chastises them.
Artemis summons a pillar of earth to launch herself at him. A metal fist rivaling Chrysaor's gigantic form pummels her to the ground. The land shakes with cracks forming. The works of Hephaestus' robots step to avenge their fallen creator.
Before Eros can do anything, the metal fist along with its arm cracks. Gears and oil fly out before Artemis slashes out an exit through the neck.
Bloodshot eyes focused on the one who raised her. Energy of nature fuels her to wipe out any trace of Hephaestus. Veins strike across her body. She unleashes her bark. The soundwaves tear through some of the robots like papyrus. Metal thuds shake the area.
Eros finds he has the last of the love dust in his hands. He sprinkles the last of his mother to get Helena and the noncombatants out of here. Zeus zips towards him with an aimed chop, but the swift foot of Dionysus sends him rolling.
The King feels golden vermillion leaving his mouth. An elbow to the temple. A kick to the groin. A clap to both ears. A speed that Zeus never anticipated. Through his vision, he sees Dionysus with the winged sandals of Hermes. He throws an electric jab which the god of wine responds with one of his own.
Zeus laughs from the stupidity, but oxygen leaves his throat. Sharp fingers almost rip out his jugular. Dionysus' eyes outmatch the sharpness of any blade as he continues his barrage to kill his father. Each strike fueled by his fatherly love for Mina.
During their fight, Helena, Medea, and the others leave. The demigods and deities rally themselves to finish this.
A mountain pillar from underneath stabs Zeus through the gut. Echo's brown eyes turn black. The pain of losing her true lover fueling the trap that connects his hands and feet to the ground.
Artemis charges another bark reserved for her father. To assist her, Perseus hops on Pegasus. Their dazzling speed leaves several large cuts on the cold, single-minded robots. Eros' arrows tears through another section while Heracles' trident plunges through the heart of one. Emerald beams of FF3 takes out the eyes while Hestia summons a bright ball of fire to finish them off.
The Huntress unleashes another terrible howl that leaves deep cuts on the King. Due to his enhanced hearing, his eyes bleed from the terrible decibels. His Olympian aura flares up from his fury. He curses Hermes as he planned for Takashi to be by himself.
He throws a lightning bolt at Takashi!
The crackling sound alerts him to block. Zeus' eyes widen in horror as the bolt didn't affect him. His guard and the special gauntlets prevent the electrocution.
Heracles eyes Dionysus with a simple message. He throws the trident. Dionysus catches it using the combined aura of himself and Hermes to end it all.
The metal arm drops with Zeus no longer attached. Artemis rushes in--
Snap. Slice.
Their eyes couldn't process what happened. The metal arm fueled by electricity snapped her neck. Her body reverts to normal before becoming one with the ground. Dionysus' head and neck toppled from a bloodied kick.
Taki's mind and heart begin to crack. The darkness of rage pours into the beam. Zeus sacrifices his metal gauntlet to protect himself.
The death of her sister snaps Echo's heart. She pierces Zeus multiple times with unexpected, spiky pillars. Colors and sounds blur in the Olympian's vision. Up was down. Left was right. The jagged shield cuts across his back. The trident pierces through his neck. Double swords of emerald blaze across his chest.
Flowing tears and fury within each strike.
The musical notes and arrows plunge into his eyes. His body burns as if he was trapped in a furnace. He had enough.
He strikes himself with a bolt to rejuvenate himself and drive everyone back. A wave of his hands. A grand green portal opens above them. Each of them are forced to their knees. Heracles is the only one who can bear the pressure of it all. Taki manages to lift his head up. He clenches his formless hands to give himself hope.
The planet of Jupiter with its Great Red Spot the cause of their strain. He chuckles for all of them to hear. With the motion of his fingers, lightning bolts fire off from the largest planet.
Hestia summons a wall of flames to protect everyone. Her orange hair flows behind her as she sustains it. Heracles punches the ground for a small hole to channel his energy. A divine uppercut of a lion makes Zeus stagger several steps back. The portal disappears with only one side breathing heavily.
Sparks travel around the King of Mt Olympus, but Hestia's sudden geyser of fire prevents him from turning into his true form. Yells of anguish leave it before she turns it off. A combination of energy is lent to Eros' arrow that fires off. Colors of gold, orange, green, and pink swirl before hitting through the heart of Zeus.
The lack of blood startles them. Zeus' clone fizzles out of existence. Hestia pushes Takashi out of the way. His dropped mouth tastes her golden blood. Endless tears stream as he reaches out to her. She collapses into flames before being snuffed out by Zeus' stomp. He flicks a bolt at Eros.
Pegasus couldn't beat the speed of the tiny bolt. It blows a heart sized hole into the son of Ares and Aphrodite. His bow clatters along with his body. Pink hearts form from his body before vanishing.
The son of Kronos couldn't take it anymore. He rushes to plunge his swords into his brother but stops mid-swing. The mountain nymph stands in front of him with horrified eyes. He pushes her out of the way. Zeus flicks him in the forehead...into a portal.
The others are stunned on where their loved one can be. Takashi screams at them from the dimension of darkness to run away. He pleads with Zeus to let them go.
Zeus stalks her like a lion. "Want to join Chrysaor, little nymph?"
He throws a bolt that gets blocked by the shield of Perseus. Pegasus swoops Echo on his back to take her away.
A divine musical note knocks Zeus on his back as the winged horse flies her to the Underworld for Hades' help. Heracles jumps onto his father to block his vision. Zeus' electrified arms shock Heracles who resists the voltage. With a quick motion, he puts thumbs into his father's eyes. The mighty hero jumps off as the god-king scrambles to his feet.
The near blindness hindering his ability over space. Blood splatters out of Zeus' jugular from Perseus' shield. He clutches his throat as the assault continues. Takashi tries to break out of the current trap to rejoin the fight. If Hades can help, it will tilt things towards their side.
The waters near Asia Minor rages again. Their hearts skip a beat. Orpheus feels a deep cut along his waist before his torso topples off. Intestines and golden ichor add to the battlefield. A final exhale before seeing Eurydice's face.
The other demigods are bewildered, thinking it was all Zeus' action. The dark indigo of aura answers them as the true culprit.
The roar of a great beast comes out of the water. The sea worm, Charybdis, bares its rows of ship crushing teeth at the group. On top of it, the Queen of Mt Olympus overlooks them all with her servant, Psari, holding onto her with a red bracelet linking them both.
The water and earth tell the traitor everything. She smiles that Zeus' illegitimate offspring was whittled down. Her army of sea creatures storm upon the land to their confusion. Taki screams curses as he's forced to watch. He raises his energy as high as he could but nothing works.
Her indigo eyes are set on plucking Perseus and Heracles out of existence.
