With this what had passed were the incidents of the panchal war where by Duryodhan and his brothers the Kauravas lost and the Pandavas won resulting in the crowing of Yudhishter as Yuvraaj,it also resulted in an angered panchal naresh who started a yagna to obtain a son who will defeat Dronacharya.

Karn was mostly at his gifted kingdom working on the destroyed infrastructure and making it a better place to live, he had an amiable friendship with Duryodhan as the support made him give a benefit of doubt and realized he could truly befriend only duryodhan, Vikarna, Yuyutsu and Ashwathama ( a common friend of the Pandavas and Kauravas).

With that karna had also formed some sort of enmity with Arjun while Bheem and Nakul would hold a grudge with him for fighting their brother Arjun and used his background as a means to insult him. Yudhishter and the youngest Sahadev however were both formal and respectful so Karn looked at the middle three as kids who were fussing about something which he could not pinpoint.

While with the pandavas they themselves were unaware why they would always seek attention from karn and that angered them plus karn's association with Duryodhan is something that triggered them more. Which they all took out as insults toward him, luckily they were not too harsh and only when they were face to face while when alone all of them felt no malice towards karna.

With the time Karn was away in his kingdom, the Pandavas had a change in thinking as they all now got hold of their emotions and ignored Karn when the next met and whenever they could tried to understand the bond between them.

While all this passed the time came for lakshagraha and the pandavas got the inkling of the impending danger, Karn too had felt this but could not pinpoint where. The pandavas managed to escape the burning palace and all followed their mother who asked them to forget the royal life and live as forest dwellers in the forest just so they can have a peaceful and fearless life ahead.

And when the news was out Karn had felt an unknown force of sadness and as he realized that the Kauravas and their mamashree who planned this Karn confronted Duryodhan who promised that he shall follow dharma from that moment forward and agreed to karn breaking their friendship if he fails to do so.

Duryodhan when he saw some seriousness on Karn's faced about breaking the friendship was worried as Karn was the only other person who selflessly loved him and treated him with no prejudice, hence he decided he would do whatever it takes to make Karn stay by his side, started following what he considered dharma and cared for his subjects like his friend expected. His brothers however not all changed as they were used to being called evil they somewhat considered karn less than them and did not value him as much as Duryodhan did, thus they followed their second eldest Duhassan who was way more arrogant and harsh compared to Duryodhan.

On the other hand, the forest life of pandavas got easier as they got used to it, and they did pass the anga kingdom seeing which they were seriously mesmerized, and they realized how worthy Karn was at being a king . They still were in doubt of how karna was on dharma side while the commoners praised karn's rule. When they heard of the promise he took from Duryodhan and how he was trying to bring Duryodhan to the Dharma side, they were convinced Karn was a good person but they chose to ignore the thoughts and move on hoping like their mother wants they shall stay hidden.

They then heard the talks of how Duryodhan was fulfilling his duty well over the years of the Pandavas " death" and this was surprising to the Pandavas who could not understand how to react. The pandavas though had grown some new respect for karn, they all wondered what fate had in store for them. With the passing of time it had been about 3 years since they were out of the palace.

They then entered the rakshasa forest which was magical and illusionary. where Bheem defeated and killed the king. Making the dead king's sister and her husband ( Hirav and Hidimba) who both followed dharma as the new rulers. This earned them their loyalty and they got a stable place to stay.

They had bonded well with the child of the couple Ghatotkacha and lovingly called him Ghat. The couple became an elder figure in their life in addition to their mother and taught them what life held and importance of understanding dharma with a different and more emotional approach as they saw the new King Hirav rule and treat all his subjects with equal compassion and provided all equal opportunities.

The pandavas had a little of their outlook changed and they wondered why this was the case and why was it not come across earlier and to their question the king answered he had learnt this from a mysterious warrior who is given the name Shakti for her role in serving and helping the weak over the past two years. No one knows who or where she is from but they all respect her for the preachings she has given to all her followers and how she had promoted equality and opportunities of growth to the weak.

The pandavas were curious and so was their mother but the mystery remained and they stayed with the rakshasa for about 3-4 years after which they headed to a different place. It had been 7 years of vanvas for them and now they headed towards Kalampiya which was the half kingdom that maharaj Draupad took when he was defeated.

The pandavas had heard of the swayamvar of the rajkumari who was known to be the most beautiful in aryavart and was born from a yagna, they had known of the yagna and the son draupad wanted before the lakshagraha as that was the time maharaj was doing the yagna to obtain a son. And were surprised to know even a daughter was obtained.

Back to the time for the yagna which means seven years back from the time of the swayamvar, during the birth of the fire born twins. Just as the flames flew higher and Draupadi stepped out of the fire, the flames rose even higher and another smoke-like figure too stepped out. This was not noticed by anyone but the one who knew everything that happened and was everywhere all at once.
