Duryodhan was shocked to see the Pandavas and Karn talk without any harsh comments or insulting either of them. As he headed towards them, yudhishter decided to speak and turned towards Duryodhan saying, he forgives them for all that happened before and hope they can maintain a cordial relation now that they both have kingdoms to rule and that he has promised not to attack or take over hastinapur.

Duryodhan was baffled by the change but could see that all pandavas were okay with that, he knew yudhishter was forgiving but seeing bheem and arjun who were always skeptical was okay. He wondered why it was so sudden but did not give any response so the pandavas headed to their rooms as they were to stay for a month and then head to their kingdom. Soon after as karn is left behind with Duryodhan and the other royals who are wrapping up the court session, he is asked the reason for the sudden change when karn mentions his wife is the reason behind the new course of relation.

While Duryodhan asks when did he marry and also why was he not invited, Ashwathama who was there to chirps in and ask why he too was not invited and says he will complain to vrushali bhabhi about it. Karn stops him and says he has not married vrushali and will not marry her, his wife is called Aahanna and before they ask another question he tells them they have never met her.

Listening to this Duryodhan asks how did this happen while Karn says let us go home. I have to explain it all to radha ma and pitashree as well. Duryodhan agrees and with this the two along with Ashwathama, Vikarn and Yuyutsu head to his house.

Duryodhan on the way asks him "what about vrushali?" Since they all considered her as their sister as karns parents promised Vrishali's father to always take care of her as he passed away.Karn says she has been my friend and i will support her as such and have her married to someone else who she likes.

As they reach outside his place, he asks a soldier to go and get Vrushali from her place but stops midway as to his surprise Vrushali was already at his place. With this he first goes to his parents and apologizes because what he will say is going to hurt them. He then goes to vrushali and says i am sorry but i can no longer marry you i promise to get you married to someone you like in the same way your father would have, that someone is just not me.

While vrushali says i don't know what brought the change in your decision, and as a friend i would like to know, but not before i come clean, i know our marriage was fixed but while you were not here i had traveled to the neighboring village and a i met someone there, his name is Rudra and he had become a good friend just like you.

I had told him about how our marriage is fixed as my father wished to secure my future and as he passed away and in society I could not stay at your place unmarried and so we both were willingly choosing to marry to fulfill my fathers wish of me settling down in a happy household.

We continued being friends and as the week passed and time of my return came i realized i loved him , I had already decided to talk to you and go to him. But you had not returned with rajkumar duryodhan, and a few days back i had met with him.

As i met him, he told me how he had loved me from the very beginning but never said it knowing i had my marriage fixed and that he has been mustering his courage since he found out that the wedding was a friendly compromise for the two of us. What i saw in his eyes was absolute sincerity which gave me courage to accept his love.

I told him I needed to come clear to you as soon as you come back and also convince radhama and adirath baba for their blessings before i pursue any relationship with him and we shall announce our love only after that. He respected my wish with a promise that I sent for him as soon as give you the news and he would come in support to convince your parents. That is what i was going to do today, she then asked radhama and adirath baba for forgiveness.

The elder couple and the royal of hastinapur were even more confused now, though karn decided to break the silence he told his parent he will make sure vrushali is always happy with the person she love and that way their promise of taking care of her will not be broken and like this they all will gain a new family member that is her husband.

Vrushali still waited for radhama and Adirath baba to forgive her and accept it which they did and with this karn sent a soldier with her so they can go get rudra who had been waiting at a slightly far place which would not be safe to go alone at that time. While they all waited for vrushali, karn asked his mother to help him change his bandage on his arm and palm, which he had got during the fight with Dacoits.
