Soon a year had passed into their marriage and both karn and Aahana finally knew each and everything about eachother, they had consummated their marriage and had a blissful life. One night however Avanti was attacked by an Asur who was friend of the previous king who was killed by Aahana and She had to head for battle, informing Karn the same she told him that he should not let anyone know about this as it will break her promised to guru parshurama, karn too agreed and ask her to promise she will be back to him in one piece. He had seen and practiced with her and knew she was powerful and had faith she will return to him.

She promised and headed to protect Avanti and Karn was left managing Kosala and Anga. Parashuram knew of this attack along with Krishna. With that it was soon time for the rajasuya yagna whereby Indraspath had managed support of 100 king and Yudhishter was to be crowned Samrat and gain a position higher that duryodhan. Shakuni who was more with duhassan brainwashed him into thinking that it should have been duryodhans position and that had been snatched by the pandavas, also made him believe that by being silent he was doing adharma of not being the best small brother.

Duryodhan and karn had been together as karn first headed to Hastinapur and then Indraspath, they had left early and also helped with the function preparation since it was truly for family according to them. While duhassan was at Gandhar with shakuni he had been influenced greatly to a more negative side, duryodhan and karn were unable to stop that. Karn had told the rest that aahana could not make it cause she was busy handling an issue at the kingdom. He didn't specify which one and hence he had not lied about her absence, he said she did say she will be there on the day of the event if she is done with the problem on time.

Krishna who saw all this knew it was to be impossible for aahana to be there for the rajasuya yagna and as he had come on the day of the event he mention passing avanti and gave an excuse that Aahana was unwell and couldn't make the travel hiding cleverly the fact she was at war. Karn had felt anxious and could tell that Aahana was in trouble but looked at Krishna and he knew Just like aahana had once told him that she will blindly follow krishna's words even if he asked her to go to hell, he had felt a calm presence and realized he may have worries but was free from the anxiousness that came along. Karn had then asked her why she would do that, and Aahana said it may be for some reason and no matter what krishna will never leave their hand so it would not be a problem.

Krishna supported him and comforted with a smile that told karn she will be back to him, and moved focus to the event, during the puja Yudhishter told karn and krishna to be the support of Indraspath in the future if needed giving them both rights over him and his kingdom in time of need, shishupal was up to stop krishna from having that respect and also ended up insulting so many people, mainly krishna, kunti karn and aahana and called her characterless for being away from her husband for long. Krishna saw this as the last string holding him back the 100 peacok feathers he had been given were over and brought his death right at that spot. The remaining function took place seamlessly and soon duryodhan to apologise as shishupal was his friend, Yudhishter stopped duryodhan and said he was punished for his sins and it was better they all forgot this.

Karn to agreed and said what happened was destiny and they need to move on, he should head back to kosala to make sure aahana is fine and the brothers Ashwatthama and Draupadi too said that they too would like to join him and meet aahana, while karn knew the lie would be caught but when krishna agreed and said let Nakul Sahadev, arjun their wives ashwathama, his wives Rukmini and Satyabhama come with him he could not counter or refuse. He chose to believe Aahana's words as he trusted her, and he had heard and knew of all the claims of others saying Krishna was divine. He came to conclusion that aahana to might have known this and that is why she believes him without doubt.

He hoped he did not have to cover up for aahana and she would be back cause he did miss her more that he could imagine. During their journey he felt even more down and hoped aahana was well because he realized they were connected more than just a couple but spiritually could feel each other's emotion and dangers.

As the neared the palace karn saw his Gurudeva and immediately headed over and bowed down which was followed by the rest who all were confuse but chose to follow and wait to know what was going on. Aahana's mother first came and asked all to freshen up and told karn aahana is waiting for him in the room and the rest can meet her over dinner. He took his leave and headed to the room where he saw her on the bed sleeping in peace but he could tell there was pain and restraint in her. He moved towards her and that is when she gets up and a bright smile on her face at seeing karn.
