TXT Soobin (Hypocondria)

Kai's POV

"Oi, Kai wake up." I groaned and opened my eyes to see Taehyun standing above me.

"Go away. I wanna sleep," I said, snuggling closer to the pillow.

"Kai, Beomgyu's sick and threw up so Yeonjun Hyung is looking after him but Soobin Hyung is doing it again," Taehyun said with an exasperated sigh. I quickly sat up and blinked my eyes open.

"What do you mean he's doing it again," I asked, despite already knowing the answer.

"He's freaking out and saying he wants to move rooms because he's going to get inflected," Taehyun said rolling his eyes. I frowned and a small sigh escaped my lips. Soobin is Hypocondriac, which basically means that he thinks he's sick or has some kind of disease a lot despite there being nothing wrong.

"I'll go talk to him. Are you ok with switching rooms until Bamgyu is feeling better," I asked.

"Not like I'd really have a choice," he shrugged in reply. I nodded and slipped out of bed, quickly leaving the room and padding down the hall and over to Beomgyu and Soobin's room. When I walked inside, Soobin was desperately pulling clothes out of his draws and throwing them on the ground while muttering things to himself.

"Hyung," I said quietly, trying to gain his attention but he didn't even acknowledge me, just kept going. I quickly walked over to him and grabbed his hands gently, making him jump and turn to face me quickly. His face was a little flushed and he was breathing heavily.

"It's ok Hyung, Taehyun is gonna switch with you. You can room with me alright," I said gently.

"M-my stuff," he stuttered, looking around.

"That's ok, I'll bring it over ok," I said gently, running my thumbs over the back of his hands.

"Thanks Kai," he said quietly before he walked off quickly. I sighed softly and began to put away everything Soobin had thrown out of the draws. A couple of minutes later Yeonjun walked in carrying a pale and tired looking Beomgyu.

"Aww Beomy, you aren't feeling great are you," I cooed as I ran my fingers through his hair. He sighed in relief and pushed his head closer to my hand, making me chuckle at his cuteness.

"How bad is he," I asked Yeonjun he gently placed the younger down on his bed and I helped him tuck him in.

"Well, he's been throwing up and he has a slight fever so he's definitely not going out today. I'll get Soobin to call our manager and see if we can all maybe get a couple of days off, we're ahead anyway," he said.

"Maybe you should call him Hyung, Soobin Hyung is having a bit of an off day," I told him. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Ugh, ok. Can you get Tae in here then please and then go make sure Soobin is ok," he asked, running his hand through his hair softly.

"Of course Hyung, I'll go now," I said quickly, knowing he was getting a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I quickly went out to the kitchen where Taehyun was eating some cereal.

"Hey, can you go keep an eye on Beomgyu for a bit. Yeonjun is calling manager-nim to see if we can get a few days off. I'm going to check on Soobin Hyung and make sure he's doing alright," I asked him. He rolled his eyes when I mentioned Soobin but nodded anyway. I don't get why everyone seems to get annoyed with Soobin, he can't help his condition, it's just who he is. I left the kitchen and went over to my room, slowly opening the door and walking inside. I sighed sadly when I saw Soobin curled up on my bed with one of my plushie's in his hands.

"Hey Hyung, you doing ok," I asked gently as I sat down on the edge of the bed so I wouldn't startle him.

"No, I'm gonna get sick. I was in the same room as Beomgyu all night which means he was breathing his germs and I inhaled them," he said, wrapping his arms around his stomach.

"You don't know that. There's a good chance you won't get sick, don't be so down about it," I said softly.

"It's not as easy as you think Kai, I can't just not worry about it. I know I'm going to get sick and I hate it. I already feel bad," he said, his eyes filling with tears as he sat up. I could hear the hidden meaning behind of his words, knowing he wasn't necessarily talking about being sick, more so his condition and trying to tell me that he's going to feel sick even if he isn't sick.

"That's ok Hyung. You just come to me if you start feeling worse," I said, giving him a small hug. He smiled softly and snuggled a little closer to me for extra comfort. I gently slipped my hand under his shirt and began to rub small circles on his stomach to help him feel better. Even if he isn't actually sick, he does actually feel some slight discomfort and I always tend to look after him when that happens.

"Thanks Hyuka. I'm sorry you always have to deal with me," he said sadly.

"I don't have to deal with you Hyung, I like looking after you. You always look after me when I'm upset, so I love doing the same to you," I said, giving him a small smile. Soobin never helps anyone when they're sick because he get's scared that he'll get it as well but worse but I don't care about that because whenever there's any problems emotionally wrong, he's the first to help out.

"How about we get out of the house for a bit and get something to eat," I asked him, knowing he needed to get out of the house and it might get his spirits back up.

"I'd like that," he said, giving me a small smile.

~~~~~
After taking Soobin out to get something to eat and keeping him away for a couple of hours, we went back home and he stayed in our room. Taehyun, Yeonjun and I took it in turns to look after Beomgyu as he threw up a few times. It was quite tiring so I was really glad when I finally got a chance to turn off the lights and get into bed, ready for sleep which quickly came. I was confused when I found myself awake in the middle of the night as I usually sleep until late the next morning. I was about to just drift to sleep when I heard a whimper. Of course, seeing as I only just woke up, I couldn't really acknowledge what the sound was. That was until I heard another soft whimper and I was sitting up in my bed quickly. I turned my head over and looked at the other side of the room where Soobin was lying down in the bed. At first I thought maybe he was asleep but then I noticed the slight movements he had and how he had his arm curled around his stomach. I quickly jumped out of bed and ran over to him.
"Hyung, Hyung what's wrong," I asked him quickly, noticing the tears that were falling down his face.
"I really don't feel well Kai, I'm sick," he sobbed. At first I was slightly annoyed, thinking that it was only in his head but the minute my hand brushed his forehead, I froze.
"Sit up Hyung," I said gently as I helped him into a sitting position. He sniffled and leant his head on my shoulder as I lifted my hand up and placed it against his forehead. I cringed at the heat coming from it, he definitely has a fever so it's not just in his head.
"I need you to just wait here so I can go grab some stuff to help you ok," I said gently.
"You, you believe me," he asked quickly.
"Yeah, you've got a fever so stay in bed and I'll look after you alright," I said gently as I ran my hand through his sweaty fringe. He sighed at the touch which proved that he really did have a bad fever. I quickly got up and left the room, going quietly over to the kitchen to grab out the thermometer and some fever reducers. I made sure to stay as silent as possible as I didn't want to accidentally wake the other's up, especially Beomgyu who's already sick. I managed not to make a sound and rushed back to my room, with a drink bottle in my hand as well. When I got back into the room, Soobin was still sitting up but he was leaning against the wall.
"Hey Bin, I'm back," I said gently as I sat down on the bed next to him.
"I don't feel good Hyuka," he said sadly and it broke my heart as I saw the tears rolling down his face.
"I know you don't but I'll help you ok. Open up your mouth so I can take you temperature alright," I said gently. He sniffled and just dropped his jaw down clumsily, making me chuckle slightly. He did look kind of cute despite being sick. I softly slipped the thermometer into his mouth and pushed his jaw up so his mouth was closed, holding it there until I heard the beep from it, telling me that it was done. I took a quick look and sighed as I saw that it was 38.8*C. It wasn't high enough to need to go to hospital but it was still higher than it should be so I needed to get the fever down.
"You've got a high temperature so I'm going to give you some fever reducers alright. Is there anything else that's bothering you? Is your stomach hurting," I asked him softly.
"No, I'm just a little cold," he replied.
"Ok, take this and then I'll tuck you in alright," I said as I popped out a pill and gave him to him, uncapping the bottle and handing it to him as well. He swallowed the pill quickly and sighed softly.
"It'll take a little bit to kick in but you need to try and get some rest ok Hyung," I said as I helped him down to lie down on and rest his head on his pillow.
"Can I ask you something Kai," he asked suddenly.
"You technically just did but sure," I said with a small smile.
"If you aren't too scared about getting sick. Would you be able to sleep here tonight," he asked me so quietly I almost didn't hear him. His request didn't really surprise as whenever he does actually get sick, he does tend to want cuddles.
"Of course, scoot over," I told him. He smiled softly and moved so he was against the wall and I had enough space to fit next to him. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close, letting him rest his head on my chest. I ran my hands through his hair softly until I could tell he was asleep when I finally let my eyes close and I drifted back to sleep.
~~~~~

"WAKEY, WAKEY. TIME TO WAKE UP." I was startled awake at the sound of Taehyun's voice and I instinctively wrapped my arms tighter around Soobin's body.

"Be quiet Tae," I said as I gently ran my fingers through Soobin's hair to wake him up nicely. I was happy to see that the fever was gone, at least for now.

"Hey Hyung, time to wake up," I said softly as he begun to stir. He blinked his eyes open and smiled softly up at me.

"What're you doing," Taehyun asked in confusion.

"Soobin wasn't feeling well last night, so he should probably take it easy today," I said with a shrug.

"You're kidding right," he said with a scoff.

"No, I'm not kidding," I said raising an eyebrow.

"Just stop faking Soobin and get up. We can't deal with this right now, Beomgyu is already sick enough as it is," Taehyun said angrily before walking out and slamming the door behind him. I sat there frozen and confused about his reaction? Why would he act like that? Sure I know that Soobin sometimes fears he has some kind of disease or sickness that isn't there but you can't just immediately assume he's faking. I turned to face Soobin quickly and I sighed as I noticed that he was looking down and his shoulder's were slumped.

"It's ok Soobin Hyung, I believe you and I'll look after you alright," I said, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

"You shouldn't do that, you could get sick," he said with a pout.

"Oh well. How're you feeling," I asked him as I stood up and stretched a little.

"Um, I'm ok I guess. I'm feeling a lot better right now. Maybe it really was the Hypocondria," he said frowning.

"No, you definitely had a fever last night. If you're feeling ok now then that's good but let me know if that changes alright," I said, giving him a small smile.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," he said with a nod.

~~~~~
Yeah, he's definitely not fine. I've been watching him throughout the whole day and I can tell he's still feeling sick. I've seen him stumble a few times and he's been looking pale but he hasn't come to me yet and told me he isn't feeling great so I can't say anything otherwise it'll probably make it worse. Beomgyu's been looking a lot better today and hasn't thrown up, just looks a bit pale and is a little tired. Yeonjun said it was probably one of those 1-2 day kind of sicknesses, which means he'll be fine by tomorrow however I highly doubt Soobin will. It was about 3pm when I finally managed to catch Soobin not feeling well. I was walking from the bathroom, on my way to check on Beomgyu when I saw Soobin stumble in the hallway and land on his knees, leaning against the wall.
"Hyung," I called out, quickly rushing to his side and placing a hand on his shoulder. He turned his head to look at me and I immediately noticed that his eyes were glazed over and I got worried. I quickly placed my hand on his forehead and gasped as I felt the heat radiating off him. I quickly wrapped my arms around his shoulder and waist and lifted him up off the floor. He leaned heavily against me as I half dragged him into our room. I gently put him down on his bed and rushed over to my bedside table, grabbing the thermometer and fever reducers and running back to him.
"Open your mouth," I said softly. He complied and opened it tiredly so I could quickly slip it in. I could tell her was tired so I gently held his jaw closed and leaned his head over to rest on my shoulder to give him a bit of a break. When I heard the beep, I pulled it back out but let him stay leaned up against me. I had a looked at the temperature and groaned as I saw the number. It was 39.1, a lot worse than last night.
"Shoot. Come on Soobinnie Hyung, I need you to take this," I said quickly as I popped out the tablet and grabbed the water from beside his bed. I gently lifted his head up and held the tablet beside his lips, waiting patiently as he slowly leant forwards and took it in his mouth. I then uncapped the bottle and brought it up to his lips, tilting it gently to help him swallow the pill. He tapped my thigh gently to let me know he'd swallowed it and he was done so I quickly pulled it away.
"What else it hurting, do you feel sick in your stomach," I asked him. He looked a bit nervous to answer but I raised and eyebrow sternly and he sighed, looking down.
"I've thrown up twice earlier but I'm not feeling to bad right now," he said quietly.
"Hyung. You promised you would tell me if you weren't feeling well," I said with a sigh.
"I know I did but I didn't want to bother you. You're looking after Beomgyu as well and I don't want the other's to be mad at me," he said with a small sigh.
"But Hyung, you almost collapsed just then, actually you did. You could've gotten hurt so you need to tell me. Plus they won't be mad at you," I said, rubbing his shoulder reassuringly.
"You're kidding me right, you saw how Tae reacted. I know what you guys think, you always think that I'm not actually sick, whenever I say I am. And sure, you're not wrong half the time but I can't help that. I've just been like this since my childhood and I don't what started it. It's like the boy that cried wolf, you say it one too many times and when it's actually true, no one will believe you," he said sadly as tears begun to slip down his face. My heart broke because he's right, he can't control what he does, it's not something he can change right away. I hate seeing him cry because he's always usually so happy and encouraging. I quickly leaned over and gave him a hug, just letting him cry quietly on my shoulder. It's better to get it out and he's got a fever so that makes him more emotional. We sat there for a few minutes until he sniffled a few times and pulled away.
"I'm tired Kai, can I sleep for a bit," he asked quietly.
"Of course Hyung. I love you ok, so don't worry about anything. And the other's won't be mad alright. Let me know as soon as you start feeling bad again, not wait until I catch you collapsing in the hallway," I said gently as I tucked him in and placed a small kiss on his forehead. He nodded sleepily before letting his eyes slip closed. I sighed sadly and ran my fingers through his hair until he was asleep. His forehead was still warm but the fever reducers take a little to kick in and start working. I got up quietly and left the room, closing the door behind me just in time to turn around and come face to face with both Taehyun and Yeonjun's angry faces.
"Where have you been Kai," Yeonjun asked with a frown.
"In my room with Soobin, why," I asked confused as to why they seemed so annoyed.
"Does the name Beomgyu remind you of anything," he asked me. Oh, shoot I forgot I was supposed to be checking up on him before I came across Soobin.
"Sorry, I got side-tracked. Is he alright," I asked quickly.
"He's fine because I decided to check on him anyway but what do you mean you got side-tracked? This is your friend who is sick and you're supposed to be helping him, you can't just forget about him," Yeonjun said, his voice raising slightly.
"Calm down Hyung. Soobin collapsed in the hallway so I was looking after him and helped him get to bed," I told them. When I heard both of them scoff, I frowned and crossed my arms.
"Are you being for real right now," Taehyun asked with raised eyebrows.
"Yes, obviously," I said rolling my eyes.
"He's not actually sick Kai, it's just in his head. Beomgyu is actually sick," he said.
"No, it's not in his head this time. He's actually sick. He had a fever last night but was feeling better this morning, or at least that's what he said. Turns out he started feeling worse and I found him just as he collapsed in the hallway. He had a 39* fever," I told them.
"Yeah right, he probably just faked that as well and you're falling for it," Yeonjun said crossing his arms as well.
"You did not just seriously say that Yeonjun," I said, feeling anger bubble up inside me. We're supposed to be a family and always look out for each other but here those two are, being so rude apart Soobin. Yeonjun and Soobin are like soulmates so I don't get why the eldest is acting like this. Taehyun gasped and I was a little confused but then I realized that I may or may not have dropped the honorifics with Yeonjun Hyung but I'm too annoyed to care.
"Don't gasp at me. With the way you two are acting you don't deserve any honorifics," I said furrowing my eyebrows.
"What's gotten into you Kai-."
"No what's gotten into you. Soobin is your best friend and you don't believe that he's sick and you're even going as far as to accuse him of faking. He was worried that you guys would be mad and not believe him and I guess he was right. Why don't you two look after Beomgyu and I'll look after Soobin Hyung," I said, turning around and walking into my room, locking the door behind me so they couldn't come inside. I sighed and leant my forehead against the door. I'm so going to be getting into a lot of trouble because of that but right now I'm more angry about what they did. I can't believe that they're acting like that towards the leader, not just the leader, our brother. I turned to look over at Soobin, watching him sleep peacefully and sighed. I walked over and sat down next to the bed, slipping my hand into his and resting my head on top of the bed. I don't know how long it took but I eventually let my eyes slipped closed and fell asleep, not caring that it wasn't even 4pm yet. Sometimes it's good to catch up on sleep on those rare day's off we have.
Soobin's POV
My eyes fluttered open and I was confused as I felt something soft and warm in my hand. I turned my head to the side and I found myself smiling as I saw Kai sleeping next to me. He was sitting on the floor with his head on the bed and his hand holding mine. He's been so good to me these past two days and I really am appreciating the Maknae right now. He woke up in the middle of the night and didn't hesitate to take my temperature and get me medicine, despite the fact that he's well aware that I am a Hypocondriac and I'm thankful for that because I feel worse than I ever have before. I didn't want to bother him throughout the day after I threw up but then as I was walking down the hall, I felt so bad that I almost blacked out. When I realised what happened, Kai was already kneeling next to me. He helped me out yet again and let me get some sleep, I guess he must've decided to sleep as well. As I was watching him, I felt a bad feeling creep up in my stomach and I whimpered slightly, realizing what was coming. I tried to tug my hand from Kai's grip without waking him up but the kid had a tight grip.
"Hyuka, Kai." I gave up and just yanked my hand from his grip and jumped off the bed, covering my mouth with my hand as I bolted to the door. I didn't know if I was fast enough to make it to the bathroom but as soon as I tried to open the door and it wouldn't budge, I knew I was done for. Why the hell did he lock the door. I gagged as I fumbled for the lock but then gave up and ran to the garbage bin by Tae's bed and lurched over it, emptying my stomach. I began to sob as I continued to throw up and it felt disgusting. The next sob I choked out was one of relief as I felt a hand wrap around my waist an another pull back my hair.
"I've got you Hyung, just let it out," Kai whispered. I was so glad to have him hear this time, throwing up is not fun but having someone there makes it just that little bit easier.
"I'm so sorry," I whispered once I finally finished throwing up.
"It's ok Binnie Hyung," he said caringly as he pulled me back into his chest. He pulled his shirt off and used it to wipe the excess puke off my face before throwing it next to the bin. That was both really disgusting and really sweet.
"That was your shirt Ningning," I whispered with a slight chuckle as I rested my hair on his bare shoulder. His was radiating body heat and I was kind of cold so I huddled closer and let my eyes slip closed again.
"You're still a little warm Hyung. Why don't we go get you some soup and then check to see if it's been enough hours for you to take some more. If not, we might have to give you a cold shower to lower your temperature again," he said, nudging me gently.
"I'm to tired aegi, just let me sleep," I said with a soft sigh.
"Nope, let's go," he said, standing up and pulling me up with him. I groaned but then gasped in surprise as he bent down in front of me and grabbed both my legs, lifting me up onto his back and making me quickly fling my arms around his neck.
"What would've happened if I just made you throw up," I asked in surprised.
"Then you would've thrown up, I can just clean it later," he said with an awkward shrug.
"You're a weirdo," I said tiredly. He chuckled and carried me out of the room, having a little trouble with the door but overall getting me to the living room couch pretty quickly.
"Where are the other's," I asked him as I realized there wasn't any noise.
"I dunno, I'll go check. You close your eyes for a bit and get some rest. I'm gonna cook you up some soup and clean up the room, then I'll wake you up and get you fixed up ok," he said with a small smile. I nodded and laid down more comfortably on the couch, drifting off almost straight away.
~~~~~

"Hyungie, oh Hyungie. Time to wake upppppp," a singsong voice woke me from my sleep. I slowly opened my eyes and smiled softly as I saw Huening Kai grinning down at me.

"Time to eat, let's go," he said happily.

"Why're you so happy, I'm dying," I whined. His eyes widened and he bit his lip nervously. I was confused at first but then I realized what I said and I understood why he panicked slightly, I can get a bit hard to handle sometimes.

"That's just me mucking around Kai, I don't actually think I'm dying surprisingly," I said, grabbing his hand and giving it a small squeeze.

"Oh thank god, no offense but you scared me a little then," he said as he let out a breath.

"None taken, now carry your Hyung, I can't be bothered moving," I said holding my arms out like a little kid. He chuckled and lifted me up, only putting me down when we got to the bench. I laughed as he placed my down on top of it and grabbed the bowl of soup, holding out the spoon towards me.

"Ningning, you're the baby not me," I said with a joking chuckle.

"Not today I'm not. You're sick so I'm helping you," he replied as he booped my nose. I made my face drop and raised an eyebrow up at him, giving him a stern gaze.

"Too far," he asked with a nervous chuckle.

"Nope, I'm just kidding," I replied with a shrug. He smiled slightly and slowly raised the spoon again. I rolled my eyes but let him spoon feed me because it isn't really that big of a deal anyway.

"So did you figure out what the other's are doing, actually what time is it," I asked between spoonful's. I was glad that he was going slow with his spoonful's and not rushing me because I'm not sure if my stomach could take it.

"It's about 7:30 right now and turns out Tae and Yeonjun-ah took Beomgyu to go have some pizza to cheer him up after he was feeling down," he said sourly.

"Yeonjun Hyung," I corrected him, confused as to why he was suddenly informal. I mean he mucks around with Tae sometimes but never with Yeonjun. I was even more surprised when I saw his eyes turn dark and his jaw went tight.

"Right, yeah. Anyway, finish this so I can check your fever but you can't have another reducer for another hour and a half at the very least, so if it's still too high, you're having a cold shower," he said. I just nodded and relaxed as he continued to feed me. It didn't take too long for me to finish half of it and I started feeling like I might end up throwing up if I continued eating but he held out another spoonful.

"Kai, I-I'm sorry but I can't eat anymore," I said nervously, worried he might be annoyed.

"That's ok, you've done well. I'm gonna take your temp now," he said as he grabbed the thermometer. I opened my mouth and let him put it in, waiting patiently until it buzzed to let us know it was done. I pulled it out before Kai could, sighing as I saw it was 38.2. I mean it's not horrible but it's not good either.

"I'm guessing it's shower time," he said after seeing my reaction.

"No, it's not too bad," I said with a shrug, putting it in my pocket.

"What's not too bad, what's the temperature" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's only 37.4, that's fine right," I lied. He blinked at me a few times before his face fell slightly and he sighed.

"Why don't you trust me Hyung," he asked, making me sit up straighter in surprise.

"WHAT," I exclaimed.

"Why don't you trust me," he repeated sadly.

"I do trust you, of course I trust you," I said quickly, gently grabbing his arm.

"Then why did you just lie to me? Why do you refuse to come to me for help when you promised me you would," he said with a hurt look. I hate how he can read me so well and I don't want him to be hurt.

"It was 38.2 so yeah, shower time for me," I said with a pout.

"I'm sorry for lying Kai. I'm just not used to having someone younger than me look after me," I apologized.

"It's fine, just please, please promise me that you'll actually look after me," he said, stepping closer to me by the bench.

"Ok, I promise. For real this time," I said firmly.

"Good, now shower time," he said with a grin and a wink. I groaned, but let him carry me from the bench and over to the bathroom. I absolutely hate the cold so I hate even the thought of a cold shower.

"Kai," I said quietly as he started the shower.

"Yeah, what's up. You feel ok," he asked quickly and my heart swelled at how concerned he sounded.

"There is no way I'm getting into that shower, unless you were to join me," I said with a wink.

"Ew Hyung," he said, scrunching up his nose cutely.

"I'm kidding but seriously though. Can you help me," I asked. His eyes lit up and he nodded quickly.

"Of course, anything I can do to help, I will," he said with a nod. I gave him a small smile before we both got undressed down to our boxers and stepped into the shower, not quite going under the water yet.

"Come on Hyung," he said softly as he placed a hand on the small of my back and my waist. I tensed slightly, not because it was uncomfortable but because I didn't really want to go into the cold water but I knew I would have to.

"Ugh, let's just get this over with," I groaned. Without a second thought, he pushed me under the water. I squealed and tried to run back out but he hugged me and held me under the water, shrieking as well. If anyone came home, they would've probably walked straight back out because they could hear both of us just shrieking. For some reason mucking around, some push and shove with Kai actually distracted me from how cold it is in the shower and before I knew it, Kai was turning off the shower and pulling me out. That's when it set in how cold it was and I was shivering.

"Oh my god Kai, it's freezing," I said as my teeth chattered.

"Believe me, I know. At least we know your temperature has gone down," Kai replied with a chuckle as wrapped two towels around me and started rubbing my eyes. It started to help and I was slowly warming up when I looked at Kai who was still trying to warm me up and I realized that he didn't even have a towel around him and he was shivering really badly.

"Ningning you idiot, you're going to get yourself sick as well," I scolded him as I opened my towel and engulfed him in my arms and both towels. He was freezing and I felt really bad that I only just noticed he was still cold.

"Hyung, you're going to get cold again," he whined.

"Shut up and let's warm up," I said with a soft sigh.

~~~~~
After we finished drying off and getting changed, we went back into our room and started getting ready for bed.
"Can I sleep with you again tonight," he asked me suddenly as I was getting under the covers.
"Are you sure," I asked him.
"Yes I'm sure, I'd feel better if I was close to you," he replied with a shrug.
"Sure," I said giving him a nod. He smiled and turned the lights off before walking back over and slipping underneath the covers with me and cuddling close. We were silent for a few seconds before I spoke up about something I'd thought about since Kai's reaction earlier.
"Yeonjunie and Tahyunie didn't take it well did they," I asked softly. He froze.
"What do you mean," he asked quietly.
"Your reaction earlier when I asked about them. You dropped the honorifics with Yeonjun because you're angry with him."
"Yeah, I'm angry with them," he sighed.
"How bad did they take it," I asked in a whisper.
"They don't believe you, even accused you of faking," he said and even in the dark I could make out his frown.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense," I said sadly. It really does make sense but that doesn't mean that it doesn't upset me. The faking part really hurts though because I'd never fake anything, ever. The stuff I think or feel are real, at least in my head they are.
"I love you Ningning and thank you for everything you've done for me today and all the days before today. You are always there to calm me down when I stress out and you always help me with no questions asked, even if it's the thing talking," I said, smiling brightly.
"Anytime Binnie, anytime. I love you too," he whispered...
