Beomgyu's POV

"I want you guys to all go straight to bed when we get home alright. That was a really tough practice and you all look exhausted," Soobin said as we walked into the dorm.

"What time are we getting up tomorrow," Taehyun asked.

"Same time as usual. I'm sorry if it's hard but we go on tour in two weeks. You guys let me know if it's getting to much and you need a break and I won't hesitate to tell the manager to give you a day off. Yes we need to practice but your health means more ok," Soobin said softly as he ruffled a sleepy Kai's hair. Kai looked like he was about to fall asleep right where he was standing. We all nodded and I walked over to Kai.

"I'll get him to bed Hyung," I said as I grabbed Kai's arm gently and guided him towards his room.

"I'm fine Hyung, I can take myself," he mumbled as he leant heavily against me. I chuckled and brought him over to his bed after closing the door behind us. He immediately cuddled up against his pillow and closed his eyes.

"No, Heuning Kai. You can't go to sleep, you need to get changed out of your sweaty practice clothes. You can skip the shower but you can't skip getting changed otherwise you feel uncomfortable when you wake up," I said shaking him gently. He blinked his eyes open and looked up at me sleepily.

"Can you please do it for me Hyung, I'm too tired," he asked softly. I looked down at him and how exhausted he looked before sighing gently.

"Of course, but you need to help a little ok," I told him. He nodded so I quickly went over to his cupboard, grabbing a random top and sweatpants. I went back over to him and he sat up slightly, allowing me to lift his shirt over his head and replace it with a new one. I picked him up and placed him down on the edge of the bed before shimmying his pants off. I slipped the sweat pants on over his legs but I couldn't get them on fully so I wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled him up, quickly pulling the sweatpants all the way up. I went to let him go but he cuddled closer to me and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Come on Kai, let's get you to bed," I said with a chuckled. I helped him lie down and tucked him in gently.

"Can you stay until I fall asleep Hyung," he asked me quietly as I went to leave. It couldn't hurt. I quickly went over and slipped under the blanket, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him closer.

"Alright, but only until you fall asleep. Then I've got to go to bed myself ok," I told him. He nodded and rested his head on my chest, letting out a soft sigh. It didn't take him long to fall asleep after I started rubbing his scalp gently with my fingertips, only a couple of minutes. Once I was sure he was in a deep sleep, I gently slipped out of his grip and made sure his head was rested on the pillow before giving him a quick kiss on his forehead and leaving his room.

"He asleep." I jumped in fright as I turned to see Yeonjun behind me with a small smile on his face.

"Don't do that Hyung, you scared me," I said pouting.

"Sorry, but is he asleep," he asked, chuckling slightly.

"Yeah. He was exhausted, didn't even have the energy to get changed," I said sighing.

"Don't worry Beomgyu, I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't overwork himself. You just look after yourself alright," he said.

"Ok Hyung," I nodded.

"Good, go get some sleep now. I've gotta make sure a certain leader is getting the sleep that he needs," he said, giving me a quick hug before walking off. I nodded and went into my own room. I couldn't be bothered having a shower so I just got changed and flopped into bed. I yawned and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off...

I was standing on a glass platform over a large body of water. Everywhere I looked, there was an endless stretch of water disappearing into the horizon.

"Hello," I called out.

"Is there anyone hear," I yelled, looking around to see if maybe there was a boat or perhaps someone playing a joke on me but there was no one in sight. What am I supposed to do? Just sit on this platform until someone comes and finds me? What if they take too long and I starve to death or something? How did I even get here in the first place? I took a deep breath to calm down so I wouldn't panic as a million questions went through my head. I closed my eyes for a second, only a second but I suddenly heard a cracking sound and I opened my eyes again quickly. I looked down just as the glass shattered and I was plummeting down into the water. I screamed but soon started choking as water filled my mouth. I started to swim towards the surface but for some reason it just seemed to be getting further and further away. I managed to hold my breath for about 40 seconds before I started feeling light-headed. I was sinking and quickly but I continued to hold my breath in hopes that by some miracle I would be able to get air. Dark spots started to invade my vision and I suddenly inhaled, water rushing into my lungs and making me choke.

I shot up and started gasping for air, grasping at my throat and crying. I shuffled back until I hit something hard. I blinked and looked around quickly. I was on my bed, in the dorm, safe, not in the middle of the ocean drowning. I shuddered violently and wrapped my arms around myself, running my fingers over my throat gently. I was still really shaken up about the nightmare, it felt so really, as if it was really happening. I quickly slipped out of bed and out of my room, and lightly padded down the hall. I contemplated who I wanted to go to. Definitely neither of the younger one's because I never want to bother them, Soobin has been doing a lot lately, what with being the leader and all. Yeonjun Hyung though, he would be a good comfort. I slowly opened his door and slipped inside, closing it behind me.

"Hyung," I whispered, trying to wipe away the tears that were still streaming down my face. He didn't move so I sniffled and called out again.

"Hyungie." That made him move around slightly in bed. I then let out a sob, making him bolt upright in bed.

"Beomgyu. Bamgyu what's wrong," he asked. He slipped out of bed and rushed over to me wrapping his arms around me. I sobbed and clutched at his shirt, seeking any comfort to tell me that what happened was just a nightmare and wasn't real.

"I'm here Beomgyu, I'm here. Let's go sit down alright," he whispered, lifting me up and bringing over to his bed.

"Can you tell Hyung what happened," he asked softly, slipping his hand into mine. I tried to tell him what happened but the words wouldn't come out so I just settled with a very brief description.

"Bad dream," I whispered. He frowned sympathetically and caressed my cheek lightly. I let out a sigh and lent my cheek against his palm. People may think it's weird but the members and I are all really close, we're like brothers and would do anything to look after each other.

"Aigoo, it's ok. I'm here now, it was just a nightmare," he said sitting next to me and giving me a small hug.

"I know, but it felt real," I said wiping my eyes with my sleeve.

"Do you wanna sleep with Hyung for the rest of the night," he asked me.

"Can I," I asked him, blushing slightly.

"Of course, come on," he said, sitting up and pulling me down so I way laying under his blankets. He slipped underneath as well and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer so that his chest was against my back.

"Sleep Bamgyu. I'm right here, nothing can hurt you" he said softly. I sighed and turned around, placing my head down on his chest and wrapping my arms around him. He chuckled lightly, his chest vibrating slightly and slipped one of his legs over the top of mine.

"Goodnight Hyung," I mumbled.

"Night Bam," he whispered, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

It didn't take me long to fall back asleep after that.

"How're you feeling today? Do you wanna come sleep in my room again," Yeonjun asked as we all ate breakfast the next morning.

"What happened? Is everything ok," Soobin asked worriedly.

"Yeah, everything's fine. I just had a bad dream and slept with Yeonjun Hyung," I said with a shrug.

"What was it about," Taehyun asked me.

"Um. I don't really know. I was standing on this glass platform in the middle of the ocean and it suddenly shattered and I ended up falling into the water. It felt like I couldn't breathe and I was holding my breath and then suddenly I was trying to breath and water went rushing into my lungs and I was choking. Then I woke up," I said quietly. Shivering as I thought of the feeling I felt during the dream.

"It's ok Hyung, it was just a dream," Kai said gently as he gave me a hug. I smiled and hugged him back.

"I know and don't worry about me sleeping with you, I'll will be fine it was just a once off. I was probably just really tired and stressed but I'm fine now," I said, giving them a small smile.

"Are you sure," Soobin asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said with a small smile.

"Good, now eat your breakfast so we can get to practice," Soobin told everyone.

It most definitely wasn't a once off thing, more like an every night thing, even multiple times a night sometimes. For five nights in a row, I had to go through at least 7 different ways of dying, from burning alive, getting shot, stabbed and many other things. After putting up with the nightmares for 5 days straight, I just decided to stop sleeping entirely. If I don't sleep, then there's no way I can have a nightmare, it's as simple as that. The first 24 hours were quite easy, as an idol you've got to be used to every once in a while going a full day of sleep. We left that night and went to Italy, getting ready for our tour. The only problem with this was that we were in a hotel and rooming in two pair and a single room, which meant I ended up rooming with Huening Kai. That made it slightly harder to be able to stay awake without anyone knowing, but not impossible. I'm just glad it was Kai and not Yeonjun or Soobin because they would've stayed awake until I was asleep or would help me get to sleep.

"I'm ready to sleep," Kai said with a groan as he flopped down on his bed.

"I'm sure you are," I said with a chuckle as shrugged off my jacket.

"Hyung."

"Yes Kai," I said chuckling as I turned to face him.

"Can I sleep with you tonight," he asked, sitting up to look at me with innocent eyes. I hesitated, if I do that, how am I supposed to stay awake without him knowing?

"I'm sorry, it was a stupid idea. I just thought cos you know, it's our first night in Italy and it would help to sleep next to someone but that's fine," he said, backtracking when I didn't reply, a small frown making it's way onto his face.

"No, of course it's fine. I was just thinking, you know how hard that is for me sometimes," I said, trying to brighten him up. It worked as he giggled and nodded cheekily.

"Get dressed while I go to the toilet and get changed so when I come out, we can cuddle and sleep," I said. He grinned happily and jumped up, going straight over to his bag. I chuckled and went into the bathroom with my clothes to sleep in. Once I was dressed and ready for 'bed' I walked out and saw Kai laying on my bed with a plushie clutched between his arms.

"You're eager," I chuckled.

"I'm tired," he said with a pout.

"Alright then, let's get you to bed," I said. I walked over and slipped into the bed next to him, turning off the bedside light. Kai immediately latched onto me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my chest.

"Comfy there," I asked him. He nodded happily and snuggled closer to me so he was basically wrapped around me. Well this is going to be hard to get out of!

"Goodnight Beomgyu."

"Night Ningning," I said softly.

Kai fell asleep about an hour ago but I still haven't managed to get out of his grip, which is bad. It's already been at least 40 hours since I've slept and Kai is really comfy which means I've been struggling to stay awake. Tears welled up in my eyes and I struggled to keep them open and tried to remove myself from his grip. I finally managed to and fell to the floor with a soft thud. I groaned but got up and left the room quickly, going out into the kitchen. Curse that kid and being so comfortable. I made myself a strong cup of coffee and connected my headphones into my phone, pulling up some videos to watch.

I managed to stay awake the whole night despite getting tired at some points and when Kai finally walked out to the kitchen, I was making him something to eat.

"How long have you been up for," he asked as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Only about half an hour so I could cook breakfast for you," I lied.

"Oh, thanks," he said with a small smile.

"Eat up, we're going to need our energy because we're gonna have a long day of practice today, the first concert is only three days away," I told him. He nodded and we began to eat.

It's been around 56 hours since I've last slept and it's starting to get to me. We've been practicing for I don't know how many hours and I can hardly keep my eyes open, which means I've been making quite a few mistakes.

"Beomgyu come on, that's the fourth time you've messed up that move. I'm not angry with you but we've got a concert coming up and we should all know this dance already," Soobin said with a groan.

"I'm sorry," I said looking down slightly.

"Let's take a quick 5 minute break," Soobin said with a sigh. I went over to my bag and bent down to grab my drink bottle, only to get hit by a wave of dizziness, making me fall to my knees.

"BEOMGYU." I felt hands on my back and I tried to stand back up but I stumbled again.

"Hey, hey, take it easy," Yeonjun said as he pulled my onto his lap so my back was against his chest.

"Can you look at me please Bamgyu," Soobin asked softly as he knelt down in front of me. I blinked drowsily up at him and that's when I realised the sudden urge to sleep. I lunged forwards out of Yeonjun's grip and quickly stood up, stumbling slightly but staying on my feet.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Let's just keep going," I said quickly. The only thing distracting me from how tired I am, is the dance practice.

"You aren't fine Hyung, you look like you're about to pass out," Taehyun said shaking his head.

"No, I said I'm fine," I said quickly.

"Beomgyu, when's the last time you slept," Yeonjun asked.

"Last night," I lied.

"I don't think he did." My head snapped to Kai in shock as he spoke up.

"What do you mean," Soobin asked as he walked over to me.

"I woke up in the middle of the night for a bit and he wasn't next to me. I didn't think much about it and just went back to sleep but when I woke up this morning he was already awake and had breakfast done. He said we woke up half an hour earlier to make breakfast but I'm not so sure, there were a few coffee cups in the sink as well," Kai said slowly. The other three all frowned and turned to look at me.

"Now the truth Beomgyu, when's the last time you slept," Yeonjun asked sternly as he stood in front of me with his arms crossed. Uh oh, whenever the eldest gives you that look, he means business and I can never lie to him when he's like that.

"It's not that bad Hyung, it's only been like 2 nights," I said with a shrug.

"2 nights? You've been awake for over 48 hours," Soobin asked in shock.

"It's fine," I said shaking my head.

"No baby it's not fine, you need to sleep. You're overworking yourself and you must be exhausted. There's a couch over there so come on, we'll take a break while you get some sleep," Soobin said. My eyes went wide and I immediately rushed back as he went to grab my hand.

"No, I-I'm fine. I don't need to, let's just keep practicing," I said quickly.

"You need to sleep Hyung," Taehyun said.

"No, please. I don't," I said quickly shaking my head as tears welled up in my eyes. The boy's eyes widened as I pleaded with them.

"Bamgyu what's going on, why're you so upset," Soobin asked me.

"Please don't make me sleep. Please! I can't go through that again," I said shaking my head.

"Come here aegi," Yeonjun whispered as he pulled me into his arms and I started to cry.

"Shh, you're ok. You just need some sleep alright," he whispered. I felt myself be lead over to the couch and slowly lain down. I wanted to protest but I couldn't, my body was demanding sleep and I could no longer prolong that. Someone began running their fingers through my hair and my eyes slipped closed.

"Please don't," I whispered before everything went black...

I blinked my eyes open slowly and went to move but I couldn't, my hands and legs were tied up to something. My arms were tied up above my head and attached to something that had some sort of twisting device, the same goes for my legs. I couldn't see much apart from the device I was in and old musty wooden walls. I struggled, trying to get my arms loose but nothing worked, all it did was make my wrists hurt. I saw movement to my left and I quickly turned my head, only to see nothing there.

"Hello, is there someone there," I asked. A tall dark figure stepped out of the shadows and walked to the end of whatever device I was in.

"Can you help me get out of this," I asked quickly. They just looked at me and pressed a button before vanishing. The minute the button was pushed there were loud clangs and then whirring. I felt my arms and legs tightened and then with horror, I realised what I was in. I was in a rack. It continued to tighten and I screamed in pain.

Yeonjun's POV

I watched sadly as Beomgyu finally drifted off to sleep on the couch.

"Poor kid, I don't get why he was refusing to sleep. He knows we have a string of concerts coming up and we need to be in perfect condition," Soobin said with a sigh as he sat down on the floor and took a sip of his water.

"Maybe there's something else to it. You saw how he freaked out," Taehyun pointed out.

"That's true but he needs to sleep," I said with a sigh.

"So what do we do while we wait," Kai asked.

"We'll relax and let him sleep for about 4 hours and then we'll need to do some more practice," Soobin said with a sigh.

"He needs more then 4 hours of sleep," Taehyun said shaking his head.

"I know he does but we need to practice this choreography. We'll leave a bit earlier and make sure he sleeps tonight," Soobin replied. I could tell he wanted Beomgyu to sleep more just as much as the rest of us but as the leader he needed to do what was best for the team.

"That's a good idea Bin," I said quickly, giving the two youngest a stern look and the quickly went quiet. Soobin gave me an appreciative nod and grabbed out his phone. I did the same and sat down on a chair, scrolling through tik tok that I definitely don't have a secret account on. Everything was good for about 15 minutes, but then it went downhill.

"Is Beomgyu ok," Kai asked suddenly. I looked up from my phone and over at Beomgyu who was still on the couch. I was confused when I noticed his face was scrunched up, his hands were balled into fists and he was moving slightly. I put my phone down and looked a little closer but froze when Beomgyu let out an agonizing scream. Soobin dropped his phone as he jumped in surprise and Kai fell backwards into Taehyun who caught him.

"Beomgyu," I said as I quickly rushed to his side. He was writhing around as if in pain and screaming. Soobin rushed up beside me and we both started shaking him, trying to wake him up from whatever nightmare he was in.

"WAKE UP BEOMGYU," I yelled. He suddenly shot up and gasped for air, eyes searching the room frantically. When he saw me, he let out a sob and threw his arms around me.

"You're ok Cookie, you're ok," I whispered, holding him close as I ran my fingers through his sweaty hair. He continued to cry and hold me tightly as the other's slowly joined the hug. I noticed that Kai also had tears running down his face but Taehyun was keeping an eye on him. I could hear Beomgyu start to hyperventilate so I pulled back slightly.

"I need you to breathe for me aegi. Come on, in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 and then out for 4," I whispered. I continued to repeat, 'in 4, hold 4, out 4' while doing it with him. He did his best to follow along and eventually got it, slowly calming down. Once he finally stopped sobbing and was only hiccupping and sniffling on the odd occasion, I sat on the couch and pulled him onto my lap, the others crowding around but not to close.

"You up to telling us what that was about," I asked gently, squeezing his waist in comfort as I felt him tense up.

"You don't have to if you don't want to," Soobin added.

"No, no I should tell you," Beomgyu replied, wiping his eyes. He was quiet for a little bit but we all just waited until he was ready to talk.

"I get nightmares. Each one is me dying in some horrible way and it feels like it's actually happening. I don't know why but they started a week or two ago. The first one was when I went to sleep with you Hyung," he said, looking up at me. My god, that was almost two weeks ago, how many times has he gone through that and how did we never notice?

"I said it was a once off and I really thought it was, but it wasn't. And it wasn't like one every couple of days, it was every single night, sometimes even multiple times a night," he said, tears slipping down his face again. I gently wiped them away with my thumb and he smiled slightly leaning back into me more.

"Is that why you stopped sleeping," Soobin asked.

"Can't have a nightmare if you don't sleep," he said with a shrug.

"Nice logic but look at how that turned out. You were dead on your feet and could hardly dance, you need the sleep," Soobin said shaking his head.

"I don't want to go through that again Hyung," Beomgyu said, shaking his head quickly. I thought for a moment, trying to think of a way to help him when I remembered something.

"When you said multiple times a night, what did you mean by that," I asked.

"Basically if I went back to bed I would continue to have nightmares so I just ended up staying awake after I woke up first," he said.

"But that night when you slept with me after the nightmare, did you have another one," I asked him. He thought for a couple of seconds before slowly shaking his head.

"Maybe you don't get them if you sleep with someone," I pointed out.

"Maybe," he said with a shrug.

"Do you want to try it," Soobin asked.

"We should be practicing," Beomgyu said shaking his head.

"No, practice is over. No more for tonight ok. We can all relax for the rest of the day, we still have the next two days to practice," Soobin said quickly.

"Still, I dunno. I don't want to have another nightmare, they're really scary," he said sadly. Kai and Taehyun moved forward and the Maknae's all gave each other a quick hug.

"You need sleep Hyung. Please at least try, it might help. For me if anything," Kai whispered softly. I could see the conflict in Beomgyu's eyes but we all know he can't say no to the Maknae.

"Ok," he said with a nod. I smiled and laid down on my back, pulling Beomgyu on my lap so he was sitting looking down at me in confusion.

"Come on, give Hyung a cuddled," I said, holding out my arms.

"The couch is a bit small Hyung," he said, cheeks slightly pink.

"That's why you're lying on top of me, come on," I said wiggling my eyebrows. He rolled his eyebrows but laid down so his head was on my chest, wrapping his arms around my waist. It was a tight fit but with him laying on top of me, it worked just fine.

"Night Beomgyu," I said gently, running my fingers through his hair how he likes it. Kai sat down next to the couch and started rubbing his hand over Beomgyu back to help him drift off to sleep. I stayed awake for the first 30 minutes after Beomgyu fell asleep, just to make sure he didn't have another nightmare. After seeing that he didn't even move an inch, I finally drifted off.

Beomgyu's POV

After finally having an undisturbed sleep cuddled up with Yeonjun Hyung and figuring out that it helped when I slept with someone, we decided to change our sleeping arrangement. Every night, I would sleep next to someone, whether it be my Hyung or my Dongsaeng and it helped, I was finally getting proper sleep and the nightmares were pretty much forgotten. I got through the whole tour without a single nightmare, thanks to the help from my brothers...
