Father Au! Part 2

(3rd Person P.O.V)

Y/N had been feeling sick the last couple of weeks. She doesn't want to worry Mark, so he doesn't know. She decided that she would take care of it herself. So, she decided to go to the gas station to get a few supplies.

She enters the Gas Station and says "Hi" to the worker. She then goes and looks for what she needed. She grabs a can of soup, Tylenol, thermometer, and a pregnancy test. She got all of these for different reasons. One, she got the soup for if she is really sick, that way it will make her feel better. Second, she got the Tylenol just in case it was her period. Third, she got a thermometer so she could check for a fever. Lastly, she got a pregnancy test for good measure. She was actually hoping that she was pregnant. She really wants to have a child with her husband, Mark. Also, she hopes that she's not terribly sick.

She arrives home and checks her temperature. "98.4 That's good. At least I don't have a fever."(Degrees in Fahrenheit) She goes to the restroom and sees if she has her period. All of the sudden, she realizes that she hasn't had her period in a while. Her period was late. She then started freaking out. "Oh my god. I got to take this test."

She finally took the pregnancy test. She waited for three minutes to see the results. If there's a plus sign, that means she's pregnant. If there is a negative sign, that means that the test is negative. She waits patiently for her results.

She looks down and sees the test. The test came back....

Meanwhile...

Mark was at practice. He  couldn't wait to go home and see his beautiful wife. He's been very busy lately and hasn't been able to see her as often. He decides to go to the store and get her a gift to surprise her with.

He heads to the store and picks out a lovely gift, a giant teddy bear 🐻.

He gets back in his car and heads home to his beautiful wife. He is so happy to see his wife. He unlocks the door and enter the house. "Honey~ I'm home." When you come walking down the stairs, he can't stop smiling. "Look what I got you. Do you like it?" he says holding out the life sized Teddy bear.

"Oh my god, it's so cute~ Thank you so much!" you reply with a hug.

"Do you want to go out for dinner? I wanna take you on a date. It's been a while."

"I'd love too. Let me get ready."

You then come down the stairs, looking beautiful as ever. When Mark saw you, his jaw literally dropped. He couldn't love anyone as much as he loves you. He was so lucky to have you. Finally, you were at the bottom of the stairs, and Mark was still staring. "Umm Mark? Hello?"

"Oh, sorry. I was just distracted by this beauty. Are you ready?" He responded smoothly.

You nod in response. He takes your hand and you both head out the door. Since the restaurant is down a couple blocks, you walked there.

You walked in the restaurant and got seated at a table. The waiter handed you both menus and walked off. You both looked over the menu and eventually ordered your food. You were eating and laughing peacefully when you decided to break it. "Mark, I have to tell you something really important."

Mark immediately stops what he's doing and turns his attention to you. "What is it?" he takes your hand in his and holds on tightly, reassuring you that everything is okay.

"I've been pretty sick lately and I wanted to find out what was wrong. So, earlier today I found out why." Unknowingly, tear ran down your cheek. "I f-found out that I-I'm p-pregnant." You finally let out with a stutter.

Mark was in utter shock. He could not believe that this was happening. He was so thrilled to finally start a family with you. He didn't even notice, but tears began to well in his eyes. "That's amazing! I can't believe that I finally get to start a family with you." Tears began streaming down his plump cheeks. "I love you so much." He couldn't help but smile. This would be one of the happiest moments in his life.

"I love you too."

You both ended up finishing the food, and heading back home. Mark was still on cloud nine with the news. He wanted to have a family with the love of his life, which was going to finally come true.

Little did you know, he took a picture of you while you weren't looking. He wanted to capture this day. He wanted to remember this forever.

The whole way home, he couldn't stop thinking about you and your soon-to-be family. He was holding your hand the whole way home, feelings full of bliss. He gave you so many kisses, he wanted to give you so much love. Eventually, you arrived home.

"I need to set up a doctor's appointment so we can have it be fully confirmed. Although, I did take 3 tests. Also, that way we can get check-up appointments."

"Will do. I'll call in the morning." He sits down next to you on the couch. "It's getting a little late, we should lay down."

You both head upstairs to your shared bedroom. You both do your nightly routine and get into bed. Mark lays down next to you and places his hand on your belly and begins to speak. "I can't wait to have you. When you're finally born, we will be a family. Your dad loves you so much already, so does your mom. Your mom is gonna take good care of you. Your mother is amazing, and I know you will be too. I might become a little impatient these next 9 months. But that's only because I can't wait to have you in my life. I-I'm s-so happ-py to have such a wonderful wife, and now, a f-family." Tears are falling down his face, tears of joy. He can't let out any more words, he can't even find the words to explain his happiness. He cannot find the right words to describe the love he has for both of you. "I-I just w-want to take good c-care of you. I-I wanna be a g-good dad to you. I love you." He's practically breaking down next to you. He has so much love in his heart for both of you.

At this point, you're both crying. You hold each other in this moment. The moment that everything sinks in. The moment that will change your life. The moment of true happiness. The moment full of love. This moment, you cannot forget.

"I will do anything to protect you and my wonderful wife. I love you." He finally ends the speech with a gentle peck to your stomach. You can already tell he's gonna be a great dad.
