Sorry for taking so long

You get to hang out with my friend that you haven't seen in years. He was very busy with his band Day6. I can't wait to see Jae again. "Bye JB. I'm leaving to pick up Jae." You say to your roommate.

You've known Jaebum for a really long time. To be honest, you've developed a crush on him. I doubt he actually likes me back. That's all you would ever say to yourself. You're convinced that he deserves better.

You finally arrive at home with Jae. JB gets up from the couch and heads upstairs to his room. He slams the door. "I wonder what's his problem.." you mumble under your breath.

"Who's he?" Jae asks.

"That's my roommate, Jaebum. He isn't usually like this. Let's give him some time to himself. Let's watch a movie."

Y/N stands up from the couch and heads to the kitchen. "You want anything? What snacks do you want for the movie?"

"Anything is fine. What movie do you want to watch?" Jae responds.

"Just choose any movie. I don't care." Y/N says walking onto the living room with a bowl of popcorn and 2 bags of chips.

After a couple hours of watching movies, you had to use the restroom. "I got to use the restroom, be right back."

Y/N gets up and heads towards the bathroom. She goes in and after a couple minutes, she exits. When she walks out, she sees JB. "Oh, hey Jaebum."

"Hey."

"Would you like to hang out with Me and Jae?" Without waiting for an answer, she drags him to the living room by his wrists. "He'll be joining us."

"Oh, okay. Nice to meet you, I'm Jae." He says holding his hand out. JB shakes his hand, "I'm Jaebum."

You guys were watching another movie, and you begin to get kinda cold. You snuggle up next to Jae and lay your head on his chest. He puts his arm around you, pulling you close. JB is practically burning holes into him with his stare.

"If you're cold, I can get you a blanket?" JB suggests, hoping that she gets off him.

"You don't have to do that."

"Oh, but I will." JB gets up and grabs a blanket for Y/N. "Here you go." JB sits down and puts the blanket on her. She places her head on his shoulder. He starts blushing like crazy.

Halfway through the movie, Jae starts making jokes with you. JB gets up and goes into the kitchen, not wanting to see you guys flirting. He can hear your guys' giggles all the way in the kitchen. He pretends to be looking for a drink and eventually heads back to the couch.b"Y/N, I got this for you."

You turn around from your conversation and see that JB has gotten you something to drink. "Thanks," you say with a smile. He smiles to himself, convincing himself that he's winning the competition with Jae.

Jae clears his throat. "Oh, sorry." Y/N says.

"Sorry for what?" JB says.

"She's sorry because she's not spending time with her best friend. So maybe you should leave." Jae says sourly to JB.

"Excuse me?" JB says standing up, making sure Y/N is behind him, blocking her so she doesn't get hurt.

"I said, Maybe you should leave." Jae repeats.

"This is my house. You can't tell me to leave. You are the guest. You should never speak that way towards Y/N again."

"Or what? What are you gonna do about it? Y/N is mine." Jae says.

JB punches him right in his face. "She is a human being, not property. You don't own her. Now get out of my house right now!" JB yells in his face. Jae gets out of his house yelling. JB runs his hands through his hair angry.

"JB?"

"Yes?"

"What was all that for? Why did you hit him? ." Y/N says.

"What do you mean? He was being a dick. He deserved it. He's been all up on you all day."

"What is your problem today? First you storm up the stairs and slam the door, and now you punched him."

"What's my problem? My problem is him."

"Why? What did he ever do to you."

"Why are you defending him? He was being a jerk to you. And to be honest, he kept touching you constantly. Then he tried to make me get out of my own house. That's not what a friend does. I let him in my house, and he disrespected you." JB explains angrily.

"Fine. You win. But why did you punch him? That was a little unnecessary."

"He may or may not have made me angry."

"How?" Y/N says wanting an explanation.

"I like you okay! He was a being a jerk and you don't deserve that. I understand if you don't return my feelings, but he still deserved to be punched." JB says starting to walk away.

"Wait!" Y/N says grabbing his wrist. He turns around and looks at her.

"I like you too. I've liked you for a long time."

"Really?" JB says, not believing anything you said

"Yes, I've had a crush on you for a while. I just thought that you'd never liked me. I thought that you deserved better than me." She says with her head low.

JB lifts up her chin, having her face him. "I don't want anyone else besides you. You are the one I want." Y/N smiles at his statement.

"What does this mean for us?"

"I think this is when I ask, Will you be with me? Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course." Y/N says with a smirk.

"Wipe that smirk off your face. Or I'll have to do it for you." JB says.

Y/N continues to smirk. "What are you gonna do about it?"

JB places his lips on hers. The kiss is passionate and loving. It definitely shows how much love he holds for her. He moves his lips with hers, the kiss is magical, almost on the edge of steamy. He pulls away and Y/N whines. "I definitely wiped that smirk off your face now." He says chuckling.
