Hi. now for the first part. Sorry for any mistakes cause I didn't edit. Note : italics are thoughts

Tam's POV

As me and Linh are sitting down in the living room talking about possible ways to defeat the Neverseen, both of our imparters ring, at the exact same time. That's strange. I pick up my imparter and walk to the other room, in case it is confidential. I see that the call is from Fitz. I pick it up, even though it could be a prank.

"Hi Fitz. Why'd you call me?" I ask. I hope that my annoyance doesn't too much, in case it is important. Part of me hopes that it is some friend thing, but I know it is not likely.  Even I can tell that I am not that accepted by them, even if Linh is, they only seem to like me when I help with something.

"Are you busy? I can call you back later if you want.", he replies, picking up on my annoyed tone.  I become more suspicious that it is just a prank now, and part of me is saddened by the thought. I bury it though, figuring that he might feel weird if I showed emotions. 

"No I'm fine. What is it?" I question him, schooling my features into one of indifference.

"Okay. Biana and I were wondering if you and Linh would like to come over for a sleepover. We already asked Tiergan if you could come and he said that you could if you wan..." He was interrupted by squeals coming from both of our ends followed by a excited looking Biana bursting into the room he was in, and Linh bursting into my room.

"TAM WE ARE GOING EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. I ALREADY HAVE A BAG PACKED FOR YOU! Oh, and hi Fitz!" Linh shouts, sounding more excited than she has been in a while. 

"Hi Tam. See you two in five minutes." Biana says. "See if you can beat Keefe here!" she adds, speaking to Linh. I try not to stare too much at her beauty, her pretty form - No, bad Tam, you can't have thoughts like that! 

"Bye." I say as I click off. I barely have it in my pocket before Linh grabs me arm, a bit painfully.

"Come on!" Linh says as she drags me along. I don't resist this, and I tell myself that it is only because of the overjoyed expression on her face.  She tosses me a bag. " Look inside and see if I packed everything that you need."

I peek inside and find a pair of clean clothes that are neatly folded. "Thanks Linh." I say, half wondering why she has a bag with my clothes in it, and when she packed it. Then, I realize that I hadn't noticed the clothes had gone missing. Man, I really have to start paying more attention to my surroundings.

With that, she drags me to the Leapmaster and shouts "Everglen!" Her smile looks like a student when the semester is over. Sadly, she probably is that excited, since we both have never really had any friends.

A single crystal drops down and I look over at Linh. She reaches out toward me, and I grab her hand in a slightly firm grip. "You'll be fine Tam." she reassures me, sensing my nervousness. With a deep breathe to calm myself, and a forced smile on my face, we step into the light.
