Tam POV

       " Hello students. In today's class of Elvin history, people will be pairing up to work on a project," Sir Beckett announced. My heart beat against my chest- could I be paired with Biana? I had liked her from since the day I saw her. Her gorgeous brown and teal eyes were just perfect. Every time she walked by, my hands would get sweaty and my heart would pound against my chest. I knew she didn't like me though. How could a Vacker ever like someone like me? Biana liked Dex anyways, I didn't have a chance.

Biana POV

    " A group project! Eeeee!" I squealed. This was so exciting. Wait, could I get paired with Tam? My palms became cold and clammy while my stomach did somersaults. His pale blue eyes with flecks of sliver and his black hair with silver tips made him even more attractive. Tam definitely didn't like me though, he probably liked Marella. A boy like him would never like me.
    " Ok, the first group is Linh and Dex," Sir Beckett stated, making Dex and Linh turn as red as a tomato. I smiled, Dex and Linh were perfect for each other.
   " Second group, Tam and Biana," Sir Beckett declared. What! I felt excited, but at the same time I felt like I was about to puke. Tam gave me a shy smile and I smiled back.

Tam POV

     " Wait, I am working with Biana!" I thought, my heart racing. I felt really excited, but I also felt extremely anxious. I looked around the to find Biana talking to herself.
   " She's probably saying she doesn't want to work with me," I whispered. Then, Biana's eyes met mine. Her teal eyes were so beautiful, I could get lost in them forever. Not knowing what to do, I smiled shyly and she smiled right back at me.

Biana POV

     After Sir Beckett had explained all the details about the project, the bell rang, signaling the end of school. Since we only had three days to complete the project, I walked to Tam's desk and asked, " Hey, do you want to come over to Everglen  to work on our project? Keefe will be there playing Base Quest with Fitz, but they won't disturb us."
   Tam's eyes widened as he replied, stuttering a bit, " Um yea."
   " Well let's go!" I exclaimed, grabbing his hand and running out of the class. As I took out my pathfinder, I realised ( English spelling) our hands were still touching. Tam and looked at me blushing, and my cheeks reddened. I held my pathfinder up to the light and glittered away.

At Everglen ( Tam POV)

   " Hey, Bangs Boy, what are you doing here? It's just Fitzy and I," Keefe remarked, smirking.
    " I'm here to do a project ,Lord Horrible Hair," I replied, smiling.
    " That's Lord Hunkyhair to you! Fitzy, Bangs Boy is being mean to me," Keefe whined, hiding behind Fitz. I rolled my eyes.
  Suddenly, Biana came into view. My heart skipped a beat as she took my hand and led me inside. We set our bags down on the marble floors.
    " So, you stay here while I go get some mallowmelt Edaline dropped off," Biana remarked, heading towards the enormous kitchen.
   Seconds later, Biana came back with a tray of mallowmelt. I grabbed a slice and smiled as the delicious treat melted in my mouth. No matter how many times I had mallowmelt, each tiny bite was still incredible.
  Al of a sudden, I noticed Biana was gone. " Biana!" I yelled.  All of a sudden, I felt someone jump on to my back, piggy back style.
  " Ahh!" I screamed, noticing it was Biana. Biana had done one of her vanishing tricks on me. I chuckled.
   " Oh my , you should should of seen the look on Bangs Boy's face when Biana jumped on him, priceless," Keefe said, with a mouth full of mallowmelt.
   " Go away, Keefe. Go back outside and play continue playing Base Quest with Fitz," Bian responded.
    " Aww, you guys are no fun. Fine, I won't interrupt you two lovebirds," Keefe smiled, making my face turn crimson.

Biana POV

   Tam had been here for a while and I was really enjoying it! After we had mallowmelt, we talked a bit and played a game f Base Quest with Fitz and Keefe. When Tam and Keefe had finally finished arguing, Tam and I went back inside to work on the project.
   Sitting on my canopy bed, I asked, " So Tam, do you want to write the first paragraph?"
   Thirty minutes had passed, and all we had completed was the plan for the story.
   " Ok, instead of writing how the council was formed, why don't we put a modern twist on it? Maybe write it like if we were councilors?That could work," Tam stated.
   " Oh my gosh, yes! You are brilliant Tam!" I exclaimed, not noticing that I was right in front of Tam. We were so close, that I could feel his warm breath on my face. My eyes were staring directly at his lips, they looked so soft that I just wanted to kiss them.
  
Tam POV

     Beads of perspiration trickled down my spine as I noticed that Biana was so close to me. My heart pounded so hard, but I didn't want the moment to end.
   " Tam, I really like you," Biana whispered, but I still heard her. Then, I pressed my lips against hers. It was like fireworks. It felt like the whole world had stopped, with just us in the moment. It was something I would never forget.
  Finally, we pulled away, grinning at each other. Biana took my hand and squeezed it.
  " What's going on here?" Keefe asked strolling into as if he was a king. Biana grinned at me and I kissed her lips.
  " Ooooh! Bangs Boy has a girlfriend. The tiana ship is sailing!" Keefe yelled, punching his fist in the air.
