Come on Fitz you can do this. It's only a stupid little crush. Just tell him. Fitz thought to himself. Fitz, the perfect golden-boy, had a crush on Dex Dizznee, and he was too afraid to tell him. Would Dex like him back? Would it damage their friendship? There was only one way to find out and he was determined to do it today.

Dex walked into Foxfire looking semi-happy. He wasn't stone-faced like he usually was, but he wasn't completely happy either. He trudged to his locker hoping to find Sophie. He was finally going to tell her that he liked Fitz. But it wasn't Sophie who was there, it was the Wonderboy himself.

"Hey..." Fitz said shyly.

That's odd, Dex thought, Fitz is never shy. "Um... uh. Hey." Butterflies erupted into his stomach. Dex knew it was time to confess.

"Look, I wanted to tell you something. You see, um, I-I... would you excuse me for a moment?" Before Dex could answer Fitz rushed to the bathroom, leaving Dex to wonder what was wrong. Dex gathered his books and  headed to his first session.

————AFTER SCHOOL————

Fitz laid in his bed thinking. What would've happened if I told him? He thought about the look on Dex's face when he tried to say something. Was it... fear? Fear of what? Then it dawned on him, Dex wasn't scared of anything, so maybe he was more scared because of rejection. Did Dex like him too? Before he could back out of it, he grabbed his imparter and hailed Dex. This was it. Please let it go okay.

"Hey Wonderboy," Dex answered. Gosh how Fitz loved to be called that. How he wish he could always be called that. "How's it going?"

"Dex," Fitz started, "I want to apologize for ditching you this morning. I wasn't prepared for what I wanted to say. But I am now." Okay here goes... "I like you Dex. A lot."

"Wow..." Dex muttered. He never expected this. "Umm... Wonderboy listen... I-I like you too. I really do."

"So what happens now?"

"I don't know Fitz, I don't know."

Yeah I know that sucked. I still have writers block and I'm working on some of you guys' ideas right now, though it might take a while. Thanks for sticking with me!
