I'M SOOOOO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! SUMMER JUST STARTED FOR ME AND I'VE BEEN SURPRISINGLY BUSY. I HOPE THIS CHAPTER WILL MAKE UP FOR IT!

"Don't open yours eyes yet" Keefe told Sophie. She had been peacefully working on schoolwork when Keefe burst in the room demanding she take a break. She eventually gave in. For him.

"I'm not." She responded. Don't get her wrong, she loved Kee — woah. Did she really think that? They weren't even dating, but she found herself knowing what she said was true. She loved him. She just needed to figure out when to tell him. "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see," he responded, "And don't worry, you'll love it. I promise." He dragged her around for another 10 minutes before they finally stopped. "Okay, you can open your eyes now."

She was awestruck. There was a big field with lavender, her favorite, all around. Silveny and Greyfell were in the field that contained lots of balloons and streamers. Silveny walked up to Sophie and transmitted "Sophie happy?"

Yes, Sophie transmitted back, yes I am. The alicorns trotted away to enjoy the shade of a nearby tree.

"I'm hoping that the quietness means that you like it?" Keefe questioned. He had a look of worry etched on his brow.

"Definitely. Though I don't know why you did all this. What's the occasion?"

"It's to celebrate the day you came to the Lost Cities. It was a truly amazing day to be honest."

"And why was it so amazing?"

"Because they brought a truly remarkable girl to her home. Let me tell you, it has changed my life." Keefe started to inch closer to her. When they were close enough for their shoes to touch, Keefe whispered one more thing. "Sophie, will you be my girlfriend?" Sophie knew her answer before he even asked. 

"Yes! Keefe Sencen, Yes!" Sophie enthusiastically stated, throwing her arms around his shoulders. Her breathing hitched when he pulled away just enough to stare at her. His ice blue eyes solemnly bore into her heart telling her it was time to tell him something. "Keefe... Keefe. I-I love you."

"Oh Sophie, I love you too." He stated bringing her back into a hug. They walked, hand-in-hand, to a picnic blanket and sat down, watching the clouds change, and pointing out what they looked like. After about 2 hours, Sophie knew that it was time to go.

"Keefe. I want to stay here forever but I have homework and Grady would kill me if I'm not back soon."

"Just give me a minute. Please?"

"Okay." He drew a deep breath and turned to look at Sophie.

"Sophie, this has been the best day of my life. I want you to know that I'll always love you." He finished. He leaned in closer to Sophie. Sophie couldn't take it and smashed her lips to his. Finally, she thought, I have been waiting for this for forever. And with that, they leaped back to Havenfield.
