Again, no one requested this, but it's been written for a while so I wanted to upload it, even though it's not one of my favorite things I've written. I don't even ship them, but when I wrote this I guess I did. After this I'll go back to requests; I have some ready for some of you! As always, feel free to comment or PM me requests. Enjoy!

"Here, honey!" Linh called to one of her cats who was slinking along in the shadow of her bed. She picked it up, which, from the look on its face, did not please the cat. "Look at him!" she cooed, petting his soft brown coat.

Sitting next to her on the bed, Dex nodded. Linh looked up at him and grinned. She turned back to the cat, saying, "You're so cute!"

"Are you talking to me or the cat?" Dex joked, cheeks flushing slightly.

"The cat, of course," Linh replied, stroking him behind the ear. After a moment, she looked back up at Dex. He held her stare before she turned away, blushing. She pet the cat for another minute.

Linh glanced back up at Dex, whispering, "I kind of want to kiss you now."

Clearing his throat, Dex asked, "Still talking to the cat?"

"Not this time," she responded. She put the cat down, turning to Dex.

They both leaned in slightly, and, as if on cue, the cat meowed loudly. Linh reached down to pick him up, before leaning over and giving Dex a quick peck on the cheek.
