"Fitz, I have to go," Sophie complained, trying to get up out of bed. Fitz had his arms wrapped around her waist.

"No," he mumbled sleepily.

"Fitz!" Sophie tried desperately to sit up, but Fitz pulled her back down. "I have to go home. My parents are going to get worried."

"They'll figure it out," Fitz reassured her. "Stay." He kissed her forehead.

Sighing, Sophie settled back into bed in his arms. "Fine, but only ten more minutes."

After ten minutes, Sophie finally extracted herself from his arms. "I'm just gonna get ready," she said.

When she came back from the bathroom, she saw Fitz talking on his Imparter, still in bed. She picked up her bag to go, but stopped in her tracks when she saw Fitz's Imparter sitting on a table. "Um, Fitz?" she asked slowly. "Is that my Imparter?"

"Uh, maybe."

Her eyes widened and she dropped her bag before lunging for her Imparter.

"Mom! Hi!" (A/N I was going to have it be someone else but I didn't want to have any spoilers from Nightfall...)

After a stressful conversation with her mother, Sophie picked up her bag and left. Right when she got to the door, she turned and said, "Be glad it wasn't Grady."

She heard Fitz snicker as she left.
