Hinatas POV

Patience.

It runs in the family.

Hyugas have been known to be quite patient, skilled, collected, successful, and well mannered. We loved our skills, so much that there was a point in time when Hyugas only breeded with their own. Thankfully, We realized that it was disgusting and decided that we are allowed to love whoever we want.

But today, I feel like I am not a Hyuga.

My patience has been worn out so thin that I might snap at any moment, I feel like my whole life is slowly slipping through my hands, Im a big ol' failure, I have made no progress whatsoever at what Im doing, and Im so pissed, I can just... Well I can just say numerous of words that I shouldn't be saying!

But I'm not going too. Im still a Hyuga.

I'm going to wait it out until I see that idiot.

Its morning, Ive been up all night waiting for the front door to open and see Neji. I was sipping on coffee and sitting in a chair that was placed right in front of the front door.

"You should be getting ready for school." Temujin told me while leaning against the chair, "Its almost 8."

"I dont care...I need to see Neji at least."

"Ah, Youre like a worried momma bear, You cousins are always looking out for each other huh?" He laughed.

"You think Im doing this for him? No, I dont give a..a... a crap about where he is! Im doing this so I dont get in trouble! Im grounded until Father sees him!" I shouted. I said the c word, but I dont care, Im very very angry.

"Sheesh...No need to cuss Hinata, Youre hurting my feelings." Temujin sniffled.

I rolled my eyes at him. I knew he was kidding, He just loves messing with me because Im so gullible. Not today!

The knob on the door started to jiggle. The door slowly opened and there neji was, but his face...his clothes...

He had a swollen black eye, his nose was bruised and bleeding, Half of his shirt was ripped off, and he was missing a shoe.

"Neji...What happened to your face?" Temujin helped Neji up when he started  to lean to the side. He looked like he was gonna collapse and die any minute.

I take back what I said! I care about neji and all of this is probably my fault!

"It-it-it was my fault... I overstepped a few boundaries with someone..." He sputtered.

Flashback

Nejis POV

"Sir...I swear it's not what It looks like!"

I dodged a swing from the left from her dad.

"Not what it looks like? Oh I think I know what it looks like. You think Im blind? You think I dont know my daughter is probably hooking up with horrible idiots like you?!"

He swung at me again, missing once more.

"No no, Nothing happened."

"Nothing! Is that all my daughter is to you?!" He uppercutted me and grabbed my shirt before I fell. He raised his fist in the air, but was stopped by Tentens hand. Her hand was small compared to his giant fist.

"He just stayed over. We didnt do anything." She quickly said.

He growled under his breath and let me go.

"Why?" He asked me.

"Because I...um...I needed to escape from somewhere."

He gave me a dirty look and whistled. It was a special whistle, unique. I heard pawsteps coming from the small hallway.

Fish had an angry look on his big ugly face. Judging by how much of a stupid dog he was, I thought Tenten never trained him, but I would of never guessed her father would train him to be an angry beast when called upon.

"Im gonna give you 5 seconds to get in your fancy car and run far away from here. If youre not out by that time, Ill kill you."

Tenten gave me a sorry look. I knew she couldn't do anything about this...But shes her own woman. Her dad shouldn't be telling her who to love!

"No." I said.

"Excuse me?" He took a step closer to me.

"I said no, Tenten is her own person. She shouldnt be bossed around by a jackass like you." I took a step closer to him. I was in his face.

"Youre right...I am a jackass." He sighed, "but that doesnt mean Im gonna listen to a dead brat like you." He punched me in my nose so hard I couldn't feel my whole face.

End of flashback

Hinatas POV

"Then that dog of hers took my shoe and half my shirt." He muttered as he was finished telling his interesting story.

"I think its your fault for talking back to her dad. I mean you already pissed him off by even being at his house." Temujin defended Tentens dad.

"How was I supposed to know he'd be mad for me staying over?" He held a bag of cold peas up to his eye.

"N-n-neji, Every dad would be angry if he saw a man in his house, with his daughter home." I said.

"Oh right...but like I said, We didnt do anything." He plopped onto the couch, "I don't think I want to go to school."

"You can stay." My father said. We all turned to him, He was leaning against the wall with both of his hands crossed. He was obviously very pissed about this whole thing, but I dont think he was mad at Neji. I hope Father doesnt think about doing anything to rash, He might tell Neji to stay away from Tenten, and the same might happen to Tenten.

"Hinata, That doesnt go for you. Go get ready for school." He ordered. I nodded my head and bowed in respect towards him.

"Ill take you to school." Temujin opened the door for me.

Dont get me wrong, Temujin is like the drunk uncle I thought Id never have,and I appreciate him very much, but walking with him to school is more embarrassing then when I kissed Neji on the cheek.

He can't keep his mouth shut.

"Erm...O-Okay." I sighed and followed him out the door.

School wasnt too far from the hyuga estate, so thats why me and neji would always walk instead of drive there. We both would usually talk while we walked, but since temujin was walking me, we walked in awkward silence.

"Have a good day at school Hinata." Temujin smiled and waved me off, "Oh and tell Naruto I said Hi!" He laughed embarrassingly loud.

I fast walked away from him, but I simply could not hide my blush.

Narutos POV

"Youre such an Idiot!" Sasuke yelled in my face.

"Oh shut up! Youre always calling me that! Well Im done with you, you bastard!" I snapped back.

We were arguing over the last chip in the bag me and him were sharing. He insisted maybe he should have it since he was the one that bought it, but I said that maybe I should have it because Im his best friend.

"N-Naruto!" An angel called out to me. I looked up in the air, but there wasn't an angel coming down for me. I looked to the right and saw a real angel.

Hinata.

"Oh hi Hinata." I let go of the bag of chips and I heard Sasuke take a crispy bite of the last potato chip.

"I thought maybe I should hang out with you instead." She told me. I wasnt wondering why she was hanging out with me, I enjoyed her company very much. She doesnt embarrass me in front of my friends, and I hope she doesnt think I think that.

"Thats fine, I always wanted to introduce you to everyone-"

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG*

"Oh...um nevermind, Let me walk you to class." I frowned.

She giggled and took my hand. I held her hand all the way till we got to Irukas classroom. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her.

She really was an angel.

"Would any of you GIRLS like to volunteer for this lesson?" Jiraiya smirked. No girls wanted to be near him, besides, there wasnt much girls in this class anyways.

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG*

"Oh um...Tomorrow we'll be learning about the digestive system so study up kids" He laughed while erasing the chalk on the chalkboard.

Hinatas last class was home economics, so Ill pay her a visit before she leaves. I walked down the hall, which wasnt that crowded anymore since everyone pushed and shoved their way out of school.

I took a turn over a corner and bumped into someone. It was Sakura.

"Hey Sakura, Its been awhile since youve talked to me. Since the game remember?" I tried to make conversation but Sakura wouldnt stop starring at my chest, "Erm...Sakura?"

"Oh right...Yeah Naruto I remember that. It was crazy." She laughed, "Have you seen Sasuke anywhere?"

"Sasuke, sasuke, sasuke. Its always sasuke that comes out of your mouth. Just talk to me like a normal person-ttebayo!"

"Listen, I just want to see him. I promise you can call me anytime you want and we can talk and I wont mention Sasuke."

I smiled. I liked talking to people. Sakuras been a friend of mine since middle school, Ive also have had a crush on her in the past, But you know, the past is the past. I have a new future to look forward too.

"Ill tell you where he is, if you tell me where Hinata is." I teased her.

"Okay you first."

"No, You first." I touched nose with my finger. She rubbed her nose a little.

"Fine...Shes outside in the courtyard. Now, where is Sasuke?" She pushed me with her finger, and surprisingly I almost fell. She has monster strength like granny tsunade.

"I dont know." I laughed. She scoffed in anger.

"Naruto you have something on your shirt." She pointed to my chest.

"Yeah right, oldest trick in the book."

"No really." She snickered. I grabbed her hand and put it up to my face and laughed with her.

"Youre so silly sakura. Ill see you around okay?" I let go of her hand and she smiled at me.

"Okay at least give me an Idea on where would I find him."

"Check the soccer field." I told her.

"Oh and tie your shoes baka!" She pointed at my foot. One of my shoes were untied. 

"Whatever..." I muttered.

We both walked passed each other. You know how when someone walks pass you and you kinda get a wiff on what the smell like? I always loved when Sakura would pass me by. She smells like cherries and strawberries.

I dont know what I smell like. Not bad hopefully.

I walked down the hall until I got to the courtyard. It was quite beautiful around here too, but it was kinda dirty since it was open to everyone. Its kinda like a lunch spot people could meet up at as well. I looked around for Hinata and saw her standing by herself underneath a cherry blossom tree, looking as if she was admiring the tree.

"Hey Hinata!" I yelled and ran over to her. She didnt even look at me. I stood next to her, she still didnt look at me, "Um...whats wrong?" I asked.

"You only like me right?.." she mumbled.

Of course I only liked her. What is she talking about?

"Uh yeah. Youre the only girl I like." I took a step closer to her.

"Then why did you grab Sakuas hand?"

I froze. She was...watching?

"It wasnt like that, I swear. Shes the past." I grabbed her hand, but not like I grabbed Sakuras hand. I held her hand with care, and love.

"Hinata...I want you all to myself, You dont have to worry, Youre my present and my future. My only mistake now is to focus on the past, Which I promise, I will never look back on the past. You mean a lot to me." I brought her hand to my face and kissed it.

"Youre right...Im sorry for doubting you. I dont know what got into me." She looked at me and smiled.

"Let me kiss you." I told her. She blushed and brought her face to mine. I kissed her once again.

"Ill only kiss you, forever and always." I pushed her hair back behind her ears so I could get a better look at her heavenly face.

"Oh naruto, What a ladies man!" Sasuke hit me in my arm.

That's it! This is the last time he'll get away with something like this!

"Sasuke there you are!" Sakura yelled.

I turned around to face Sasuke, but something was wrong. I felt my whole body jerk and gravity was pushing me into Sasuke.

I tripped over my damn shoelace!

And the worse part is sasuke is not moving at this rate Im going to...Im going to...

*Smooch!*

NO! NOT AGAIN.

I pushed away from Sasukes lips and fell onto the ground. Im not even that mad about it! Oh the Irony, I literally just told Hinata Ill never kiss another person, yet here I am, Kissing Sasuke.

"N-Naruto!" Hinata helped me up.

"Naruto..." I heard someone growl behind me. It wasnt Sasuke, because he fainted, I slowly looked over my shoulder and I blacked out.

When I opened my eyes, I saw all white, and only white.

"Am I...in heaven?" I spoke aloud.

"N-Naruto, Youre awake." I saw an angel appear before me. I smiled at the sight. Heaven smells so nice, its really bright and fancy, and if angels look like this in heaven, then I love it here.

"What a beautiful angel." I reached out and touched her face. Her face turned red, and she held my hand against her face.

"Now that hes awake can he leave?" A figure ran into the picture, He looked like an angel too, He had long silky hair, but half of his face looked like a bruised banana.

"Cmon Neji, let the boy stay...He keeps talking about heaven and stuff, maybe he just needs a moment to clear his head." Another man said. He had golden hair and green eyes, he looked down at me.

"Son, Do you know where you are?" He asked me.

"Heaven of course." I replied.

"See? Hes delusional. Youre at the hyuga estate." He said. I lifted my head up a little and everything became a bit more clearer. There were 5 people here. An old man that looked like Neji, Hinata, another old guy who was talking to me, Hinatas younger sister, and Neji, who surprisingly still looked like a bruised banana.

"Why am I here?"

"Sakura punched you and you kinda blacked out. With the help of Temujin, I brought you home to take care of you." Hinata explained. That explains alot as well.

"How long have I been here?" I kept asking.

"Calm down, only about an hour." The old guy said. He looked really mad.

"Oh. Thank you guys very much. I appreciate the hospitality, but I must get going." I stood up but gravity pushed me back down. My head was throbbing.

"Ill drive him to his house." Hinata helped me up.

"I dont know if you two should be alone..." Neji muttered.

"Its not like there gonna do anything like YOU did Neji." The little girl giggled.

"Oh Ha-Ha...Very funny." He cackled.

"Take Nejis car. Be back in 15, no later Hinata." The old man tossed car keys over to Hinata, which she caught. I smiled, she definitely got that from me, But then again, Hyugas are known for their perception because of their eyes.

"Will do Father." She opened the door and locked it behind her.

She helped me walk to a white car. It was really fancy, Neji has a good taste in cars.

The drive was quiet. I tried to start the conversation but I couldn't stop thinking about Hinata and what happened before I got punched.

The car came to a stop in front of my apartment.

"You have the key to the door right?" She asked me while unbuckling my seatbelt for me.

"Yeah, I think so." I reached for pockets and got out a key. I gave her the key and she got out, leaving me in a hot car. After a moment of waiting, she came back and helped me up.

"That was the key for your locker." She told me, "Thankfully Jiraiya had a spare key."

Jiraiya? Was he there? I walked up the mini steps and saw Jiraiya waiting for me outside my door.

"You should watch what you say to girls like her. Trust me I learned a lesson today as well." Jiraiya turned his face and showed me a bruise on his cheek. Granny tsunade always hated when Jiraiya would flirt with her.

"You never learn you old pervert." I snarled.

"Uh...Should I-I leave now?" Hinata interuped.

"Im sorry. Thanks Hinata, I owe you one." I kissed her cheek and she blushed.

"Oh its no problem really... Bye Naruto. Bye Jiraiya." She bowed towards both of us and ran off back to Nejis car.

"Naruto I need to talk to you. For real this time." He stopped me from walking in. I sighed, "Okay Jiraiya..."

"Im gonna be out of town for a while doing some business-"

"You mean looking at girls?"

"Shush." He silenced me, "As I was saying, Ill be gone for awhile so...yeah."

"Why do you want me to know this?" I asked.

"Just thought Id tell you since I tell you everything." He smirked and ruffled my hair with his hand, "By the way naruto."

"Ugh what?!" I snapped.

"Take care of my toads for me, I left them in your living room." He smiled at me and left. Jiraiya has always been a sucker for toads and ladies. I kinda like toads I guess.

I opened my door and found a large fishlooking tank in my living room. In there were quite a few toads. My favorite ones were a large red one, he was one of the biggest, a big orange one and a small yellow one. I named the large one Gamabunta, the semi-big one Gamakichi, and the small one Gamamatatsu.

Theyre all so cute.

I really am In heaven.
