Nejis POV

I woke up before any of the maids arrived. It was 6am. I was sleeping on the floor instead of my bed after my "incident" yesterday...

Flashback

I woke up feeling...hot. Not looking hot, Physically hot, and I was basically naked, I should be freezing. I slowly got up and found that I was in a puddle of my own piss.

"WHAT THE FUCK!"

I was thinking I had a wet dream or something, but noooo. I pissed myself in my sleep!

"Neji, are you okay?" I turned and saw Hinata and her phone poking out the door. I grabbed a blanket and covered my area.

"Im fine, can you get out?"

"Why? Im just asking if youre okay?" She insisted. I looked around the room and saw a glass of water on the bottom of my bed. I knew this prank... and the only person that could of done it was....

"Hinata, I know you did this on purpose." I got up while still holding the blanket in my hand and walked over to my door, "I know you did this, I swear to the gods, if uncle wasnt here, I would be hiding your dead body in Hanabis stuff animal pile."

Hinata gave me a raised eyebrow look. "How do you know about that?"

I blushed. I was already embarrassed that I pissed myself and Hinata was recording, but now that she knows I go into Hanabis room, I was caught.

I had tea parties with her every Sunday. I know her room by heart just like I know mine. I hated doing the whole tea party thing, If anyone found out, My pride and honor would be....dead!

"Ive been in her room before just like you, so dont give me that crap. Now leave." I pushed her phone out of my face and closed the door.

This was the worse day of my life.

End of flashback

I put on some clothes and silently snuck out the door and ran over to Tentens house. Judging how fast I was running, I would be there in 20, maybe 15 minutes top. I really missed her. Yesterday felt like it took forever just to pass. 2 days without her and Ive pissed my pants. Classic Neji.

As I was running down her street I noticed something I didnt notice last time I came here. Her neighborhood was the worst neighborhood in Konoha. Crime rates here were double then anywhere else. Every house had a dog that looked scary as hell. Im so glad Tenten doesn't have a dog. Im definitely not a big fan of dogs.

I finally made it to Tentens house, her window was open. I could climb through the window and surprise her. I walked up to her window and grabbed on the ledge when I heard her voice.

"Youre so handsome....I love you."

My heart crumbled. There must be a reason for this. Maybe shes talking to her dad...Why would you call your dad handsome? I crossed that out of my head. Her secret brother? No...

She started laughing "N-no...no licking."

THATS IT

I climbed the window, not yet looking in.

"Go." She said and I heard something scramble out of her room. She came over to the window with a knife.

"Oh Neji...Its just you. Let me help you-"

"Dont touch me." I climbed through her window and looked around her room for that bastard. I could only Imagine what shes been hiding from me. God...What if shes cheating on me with Kiba?! Going against my word because I wasnt good enough.

"Neji, What are you doing?"

"Where is he!" I yelled at her.

"Who?..."

"THAT MUTT!" I grabbed her wrist and pulled it over my head.

"Put me down! I dont know what youre talking about!" She yanked her hand out of mine and gave me a angry look.

"Oh..Hes hiding somewhere in this house. He couldn't of gone far." I stormed out of her room. I opened one door, It was the bathroom. Nothing there. Next room was a closet. I went down the steps in her home. Nobody in the kitchen. I looked around her couch.

"Neji! Stop! No one is here." She came running down to me and stopping me from investigating her living room. I must be getting close to that mutt. Then....I knew it was Kiba...

Tenten smelled like someone else. Not her innocent vanilla scent. No...It was something for masculine. She smelled like Kiba. Exactly like that gods for saken bastard.

"Wheres Kiba" I asked her in a calm manner, I swear to the gods if she she doesnt know what im talking about im gonna throw a glass bottle across the room.

"Kiba? Hes not here. I swear Neji youre just making a big fuss over nothing!" She shouted. I took a deep breath to calm me down.

"Then why the FUCK do you smell like him? Huh?"

Tenten grabbed her shirt and sniffed it. She scrunched her face in disgust.

"Yuck. I do smell like him." She started laughing. This wasnt funny. I was trying my best not to cry. She think this is all a Joke.

"Neji...tell me... How many living things do you think live with me?" She asked me.

"2. You and your dad." I responded with.

"Well, I have a pet Fish."

I laughed, But like a maniac, not a normal laugh. An angry laugh. I didnt know what emotion to show so I just started laughing. It seemed like the only logical thing to do.

"A fish is handsome to you? A FISH CAN LICK YOU?...Tell me Tenten... Where did that mutt lick you?-" I grabbed her neck and choked her, not too rough. "Here?...-" I moved my hand to her face. "Here?..-" I moved my hand to her stomach "Here?.." I grabbed her area, causing her to yelp in pain, "Or here?.."

"Speak of the devil..." She muttered. I raised an eyebrow. I heard something growl behind me. I let go of Tenten and turned around and saw the biggest, scariest, rottweiler ever...

It had foam coming out of his mouth. It barked a few times at me.

"Neji...This is Fish...Thats weird, He doesn't bark at all. Only when he senses danger...or stupidity in your case."

"I-I-I thought you meant you had an actual pet fish...and-and I thought Kiba was over cause you smelled like dog..." I marveled at the dog.

"Come here fish." Tenten got on her knees and the dog came running to her. I was so amazed...worried...And I felt my pride being crushed to a million pieces. I took a step back and fell on her couch.

"Youre so handsome...I love you." She rubbed the back of his ears. "Sound familiar?" She teased me. I put my face in my hands.

"Im sorry." I mumbled.

"Its not your fault. You didnt know. Hes the sweetest dog. He was in the backyard last time you came over. Like I said, Hes a quiet dog until hes not." She picked up the big dog. I gawked at the scene. How can she carry such a huge dog? She was holding him like a baby and it looked as if the dog liked it.

"Fish likes you" She leaned the dog next to me. The dog started growling until it sniffed me. I moved a little from the dog so I wouldnt get gross germs.

"Aw come on Neji-KISS IT!" She kept leaning the dog at me until it jumped from her hands and onto me. It started licking everywhere. I was so grossed out, but there was nothing I could do about it.

I heard a door knob jiggle. I looked over to the front door and saw someone I never thought I'd meet.

Tentens Dad.

Tenten mumbled something about the gods under her breath.

"Tenten Mitsashi, YOU ARE IN SO MUCH-....Who the hell is this clown?" He pointed at me. The dog jumped off me and ran to her dad.

"Just a project partner dad. This is Neji."

I waved at him.

"Neji? As in screw? Psh..Lame." He grunted. Tentens Dad looked at her.

"Tenten...What happened to your neck?" He asked. I knew this was the end for me. Tenten still had her bite marks from me on her.

"Me and Fish were playing and it got out of hand." She sighed and covered her neck.

"Damn mutt..." He hit the dog on the head, causing it to yelp and run from him.

"I heard about the fight...Clown boy, Get your ass out of here. I want to talk to my daughter without your funny looking face here."

Well, Now I know where she gets her wordplay from. I got up from the couch.

"Bye Neji."

"Bye Tenten."

I walked up to her dad and held out my hand. He looked at my hand like it was something gross. He slowly grabbed it with a strong grip and shook it. I walked out the door and started walking back home. Judging by the sky, It was about 7:00. I looked back down on my wrist watch. Nope, not even close, It was 7:30 and I had 30 minutes to go home and get to school.

Today is gonna go by sooo slow.

Tentens POV

He shook my dads hand...and my dad didnt punch his face. Maybe the gods will shed some mercy today.

"Are you gonna tell me about the fight?" He put his hands on his hips. He looked like a mom.

"She made fun of me." I shrugged.

"What are you? A 3rd grader? Man up. Don't let shit like that get you in trouble."

I sighed "She made fun of me because you never care about me."

"CARE ABOUT YOU? Tenten, You are the last memory I have of your mother. I provide you with food a house-"

"Last time I had to give you money just so we can stay here a little longer. Youre slacking dad."

My dad stomped his feet and put his face in my face, "Dont talk back to me young lady."

"I wasnt I was just-"

He slapped me across the face. Fish started barking and whining.

"What did I say? No talking back!" He yelled in my face.

All I could do was nod my head in agreement. My face hurt bad. It stung like hell.

"Shut that dog up or I'm gonna throw it over the fence so those pitbulls can tear it up." He pointed at fish, He was still whining. The neighbors had 2 huge pitbulls on the other side, let me tell you, those dogs HATE Fish. I shooed him away with my hand. My dad starred at me for a while and let out a frustrated sigh.

"I try okay? Things get stressful for me and I try to make it work. It isnt going well for me. I didnt mean to..hit you. Like I said, I care for you."

"Then why don't you spend time with me?" I sobbed. Tears were rolling down my face. My whole face also felt red and puffy.

My dad let out a long, annoyed grunt and grabbed his jacket, "Im going out. See you tomorrow." He was about to walk out the house when he turned back to me, "Tenten...I love you so much." He put on his jacket and slammed the door shut. I fell on the floor and started crying my eyes out.

"I love you too..."

It was later on the same day, about 5 o'clock. I was in my room listening to music and playing with fishes flabby mouth. Gross, I know, but hes like an oversized baby. Everything he did was cute and adorable in my eyes.

I heard someone tapping on the window. I turned and saw Neji waving his hand around. I got up and opened my window.

"Oh rapunzel, let down your hair...or whatever he says." He grabbed the ledge of my window and climbed up. "May I come in?" He asked.

"I guess, My dad left right after you left." I helped him up from the window. When I pulled him in he tumbled on the floor and Fish couldn't help but lick his face again.

"Shouldnt you be home?" I asked.

"I should, I just wanted to talk to you about something. Your cheek looks a little red, you okay?" He pushed fish away and got up. He touched my cheek. It stung once more. Im thinking its gonna leave a bruise or something. My dad is strong.

"Yeah I kinda fell. Im okay." I lied.

"Oh Alright then." He cleared his throat. "Its almost basketball season. Which means Im gonna be playing. I want you to be there for my first game." He passed me a ticket. I looked at it.

'Kumogakure Thunder @ Konohagakure Fireballs. 7:00 pm. Friday, September 17th'

"Kumogakure? Thank god its at our school. Its this friday isnt it?" I smiled.

"Yup, So will you go?" He asked.

I gave him a bored look and nodded my head, "Of course I will. I wouldnt miss it for the world."

His regular smile became a big smile.

"Cool. I would stay with you and your...Fish...But I have to get home before Uncle gets suspicious. Goodbye Tenten." He kissed my nose and climbed out the window and started running home.

I safely put the ticket in my drawer and sat back down in my bed.

Fish jumped on my bed and curled up next to me. I looked back at my window and smiled.

"Run forest run." I put my earbuds back in and fell asleep with fish by my side.
