"So I think we should plan a girls night" Ino says from the seat in front of Hinata in homeroom.

I look up from my book to see Ino staring between me and Hinata for a response. I mark my page and shrug. "I don't know Ino, that sounds like it would get boring with just the three of us." I point out.

Ino scrunches her brow together in thought for a moment. "Oh I know! How bout I invite Temari too? She will liven up the place that's for sure." She says excitedly.

I cast a skeptical look over at Hinata. "I guess it's up to Hinata." I say slowly.

Hinata's brow crease in thought. "Why do you want to have a girl night tonight Ino?" She questions.

Ino lets out a dramatic sigh. "You guys do know what day it is don't you?" She asks waving her hand in front of her. Hinata and I look at each other quizzically but neither of us know what she is going on about. When Ino realizes that we have no idea what she is talking about she sighs again. "It's Valentine's day. And since none of us have dates I propose we do a girls night." She declares with a smile.

Hinata sighs. We both know that we can't fight Ino on these things, she's pretty persistent. "I'm sure my mother won't mind if I have people over tonight." Hinata says with a small smile.

Ino squeals in delight. "Oh this is going to be so much fun! We should go by the drug store before we go home and get some girly things." She exclaims as she pulls out her cell phone.

"Damn it will you knock that shit off." Kiba complains as he comes down the aisle and takes his seat in front of me. Ino shoots him a dirty look and turns around in her seat.

I rest my elbow on my desk and set my chin in my palm with a sigh. "You should really try to be nice to her." I mumble with a small smile.

Kiba chuckles. "Yea like that will ever happen." He grumbles but returns my smile with one of his own.

I see Ino turn her head to stare at us and give me a grin. I look away but not before the blush hits my cheeks. I know she thinks that there is something between me and Kiba but really I don't know if I want there to be anything else besides what there is. I like the way our relationship is right now, I think that any more would just complicate things.

"Hey you feeling okay?" Kiba asks putting the back of his hand on my forehead.

I raise an eye brow at him and sigh. "Really Kiba?" I ask, annoyed with his constant need to check on my wellbeing. "I'm fine, just tired."

Kiba shakes his head. "You know Ino drugs are bad for you." He says with a grin facing towards Ino now.

"So Temari is down for the plans tonight." Ino says turning around in her seat again and giving Kiba a horrible glare. "We are going to meet her out front after the final bell."

Hinata and I nod in unison. "Okay sounds like a plan. Are we going to stop by our houses for clothes?" I ask raising an eyebrow at her.

Ino nods. "Well I know I would prefer to bring pajamas but if you don't want some then we don't have to stop." She says matter of factly.

I laugh at the way Ino hasn't changed over the years. Still as literal as always. "I'd like to grab some pajamas from my house." I say through my chuckles.

Ino rolls her eyes. "Well why didn't you say so in the first place." She says turning around in her seat to face forward.

The bell rings and the classroom goes quiet as Miss. Matarashi explains how the deliveries will go throughout the day. I can't believe that I forgot that today was Valentine 's Day. The realization brings on a deep aching feeling in my chest because last year Sasuke and I had celebrated the holiday. This year so much is different and while every now and then I wish that I could go back I really feel like I'm in a better place now.

The bell rings and we are excused to our first hour class. "Hey so what do you guys have planned tonight?" Kiba asks Hinata and I as we walk to Mr. Sarutobi's classroom.

Hinata sighs causing me to giggle in response. "Ino is depressed that she doesn't have a date for tonight so we are doing girl's night." I explain with a smile.

I cast a glace over at Kiba who is smiling over at me. I raise an eye brow at him, our unspoken way of asking what the hell. "That sounds extremely unpleasant." He says with the same smile on his face.

I roll my eyes with a smile. "Maybe for you, but lucky for you it's no boys allowed." I say with a nudge.

Kiba laughs loudly. "You couldn't pay me to get my nails done and make up put on." He snorts as we enter the classroom and take our seats.

Hinata giggles. "Oh Kiba, did you forget the time you helped me babysit Hanabi and she wouldn't stop crying until you let her paint your fingernails?" She asks with a smile.

I can't help the snort that escapes my mouth. "Awww see I'm sure that's when her crush started." I muse through my laughter.

Kiba slouches in his seat and crosses his arms. "Yea you girls keep making fun of me, just watch what happens." He threatens in a teasing tone.

Hinata and I look at each other before breaking out in a fit of giggling. It's not that we are trying to be mean, it's just that Kiba isn't at all menacing when he makes threats like that. Maybe it's because we know he would never hurt us but the threat makes us laugh.

"What's all the giggling about?" Ino asks sitting behind Kiba. "Did Kiba do something immature again?" She asks with a smirk.

Kiba rolls his eyes. "On second thought Ino, drugs are good for you. Take them all." He grumbles glaring to the front of the classroom.

Hinata and I continue to laugh while Ino looks at us like we are going crazy. Even though I'm not a girly girl I am sort of excited about girl's night tonight. If anything I will have good skin after wards and a side ache from laughing so hard.
