Sasuke and I are hanging out enjoying our weekend at my house. I think that we both need some major video game time to escape the drama that has engulfed our lives right now. Okay so maybe it's not MY life that is engulfed in it but I'm still part of it and it's depressing.

I know that Sasuke and Sakura broke up, but no one will tell me what is going on. Not like I'm going to press Sasuke for information. He gets pretty pissy if he doesn't want to talk about something. And Sakura has been a zombie and it just doesn't feel right to ask her.

So we sit on the living room couch with the play station on and a racing game in, both of us concentrating out hardest to get the gold. Out of nowhere Sasuke's phone buzzes. He ignores it until the race is over and takes home the gold.

I groan as I pass the finish line in 5th. "This game is rigged. You always win." I complain leaning back into the couch with a pout.

Sasuke chuckles as he picks up his phone. "No you just suck at racing games." He mumbles as he looks at his phone, his face slowly falling. "I gotta go talk to Sakura." He says getting up off the couch and tossing his controller in his now empty seat.

I look up at him confused. "Not a good idea." I say now concerned for Sakura's wellbeing. I don't think that she would benefit from talking to Sasuke.

Sasuke glares down at me. "It's not my idea you idiot. She texted me and wants to talk." He grumbles.

I stare at him blankly. Sakura wants to talk to him? Why would she want to torcher herself with that? "Are you ever going to tell me why you guys split, because it's kinda hard to help ether of my friends when they won't tell me what is going on?" I ask irritated.

"I cheated on her okay." Sasuke snaps at me angrily, looking away and shoving his hands deep into his pockets.

The big bad secret is out...and boy is it a big one. He cheated on her...he cheated on Sakura. "What the hell were you thinking Sasuke?!" I cry at Sasuke before I can stop myself. The horror in my voice is apparent as Sasuke glares at me.

"I don't know." He grumbles.

I'm so angry at him right now. I may actually want to hit him, but I push the urge down and away. He is my BEST friend and I need to be there for him no matter how angry I am at him for treating Sakura the way that he has.

I stare at him until he meets my eyes with his. "You know she probably wants to know why." I try to say as nicely as possible. I really don't want to have to fight with Sasuke right now.

Sasuke sighs and looks up at the ceiling. "What do I tell her if I don't even know why?" he mumbles upwards.

I shrug and look down at the carpet in my living room. "I dunno, I'm not all knowing ya know." I reply. I don't know what he's gunna say or what he can say to make her feel better but he needs to give her something if that's why she wants to talk. Sakura is an amazing girl and to do something like that to her...it's unthinkable in my mind.

"That's an under statement." Sasuke sighs as walks over to the front door where is jacket is hanging up. I listen as he slips it on and opens the front door to leave. "I'll text you when I'm on my way back." He calls over to me.

I don't respond as I hear the front door close with a click. I'm glad that he is going to go talk to her. I have time to rage in my head on how stupid and horrible Sasuke is. I'm not going to lie to myself, I want to knock him flat on his ass. That's what he deserves right now, but I'm the best friend...I can't do that. Doesn't stop me from hoping he runs into Inuzuka though.

I sink further back into the couch and stare at the main menu of the game. I suddenly feel like shooting people, which means I have to turn on the X-Box for some Call of Duty action. Maybe if I spend some time murdering innocent online players and talking some shit to them I will be able to spend the rest of the weekend with Sasuke like we planned. Maybe.
