Basically, this book had to be created because the rat was stuck in my head. I even got bullied for liking him! However, my adoration for him overcame everything - and now, he's getting his own book.

I won't be writing too large chapters (500-2000 words is the estimated length), which is unlike my style, as I want to adapt to writing shorter stories in general. The first chapter, however, is longer than 4000 words - that was me testing out Kokichi, and I must admit, it wasn't easy writing him. Not at all!

I almost feel as if it were an obligation for me to say this, but Kokichi's character is horribly portrayed in the fandom. I haven't been there for long, but what I managed to see was complete injustice to this complex personality of his. I wish to bring out at least some of his numerous (and often forgotten ) qualities in these oneshots that I'll write. He deserves to be treated well.

A disclaimer: I haven't played any of the Danganronpa games myself, which is why there might be some inconsistencies in my writing. If these do occur, please do contact me! I'll try to quickly resolve the issue.
