Sid woke up lazily and yawned rubbing his eyes and after folding his duvet and placed it on it's right place.

Then he glanced at the bed and found it empty which meant Avu was already awake.

Then he decided to do little workout in his room's balcony feeling the morning freshness.

Few minutes later when he heard her calling his name. He stopped and went back to his room wipping off the sweats.

Avu- bandar ke bacche (monkey's kid)

Sid- what happened jangili billi (wild cat) ?

He asked knocking at the bathroom's door.

Avu- this isn't opening

She siad in a frustrated tone and he heard a thud BANG

Sid- hey cat don't torture my poor door

Avu- idiot here I am stuck inside and you are worried about your door which is as stupid as you

Sid- hey why are you dragging me in this you Nakchadhi

Avu- you are really an idi..

Sid- and didn't I tell you to not use the second lock

Avu- yehh but I forget

She said in a low voice and Sid's face palmed.

Avu- now stop your nonsense and help me come out

She said in tone which wasn't showing any sign of request and Sid narrowed his eyes at this.

Sid- are you requesting dear Nakchadhi ?

He asked and said  dear Nakchadhi  in fake sweet accent and rolled his eyes.

Avu- No dear bandar

She mimicked in the same tone and rolled her eyes.

Avu- now do something

Sid- and why do you think your rival... tch tch not forget to mention your rival husband will help you ?

He asked and leaned his back against the door.

Avu- okay don't help me... I'll scream and scream until someone else comes to help me and then if they will ask me that why didn't I asked you for help then I'll tell them that I did but you refused

She replied sassily and Sid's jaw dropped.

Sid- stop smirking you blackmailer cat (gritting his teeth)

Avu- how do you know ? (with wide eyes)

Sid- I've told you once that I've my own ways (smirking)

Avu- now you stop smirking and open your twin

Sid- it isn't my twin

He said making faces and started trying to unlock the door and inside Avu was being impatient.

Sid- yess I did it

Sid announced opening the door with a push due to which she fell down.

Avu- ahh idiot (wincing) I always fell down because of you

She is looking like a cute rabbit

Sid thought to himself staring at her expressions and for covering up himself from awwing he started laughing making her more furious over him.

Avu- do you want me to kill you in the morning ?

She said gritting her teeth and gave him a sharp look and for few seconds he stopped but again busrt into laughter.

Avu- kukur (dog)

She muttered but not so low that he can't hear and Sid narrowed his eyes at this.

Sid- do you think that god will not count your sin if you will curse in Sanskrit

She scrunched her eyebrows and made a careless face which made Sid frown which she ignored and started leaving. But he was quick and he pulled her back caging her against the door.

Sid- you remember the first day when I was going to call you female kukur and how you threatened me

He said remembering that day and the scenes of that day flashed in their minds.

Their first meet and not so good impression and the start of their rivalry from that day only.

Nor Sid have expected that he will get a rival in the college ever who will go against him nor Avu have expected that she will get into in rivalry on the very first day that too with the college's dream boy.. the play boy.

Sid- ahh it still pains

He said faking pain and started jerking his hand on which Avu narrowed her eyes.

Avu- but I guess I've kicked on your another hand

Sid smiled sheepishly and quickly started jerking his another hand and chuckled nervously.

Avu- idiot

Sid- Handsome idiot

He winked leaning closer making her breathe flinch.

Sid pov
Let's irritate Nakchadhi... morning fun

He smirked mischievously at his own thought.

Sid- now not so dear Nakchadhi give me a kiss

He demanded extending his cheek towards her and her jaw dropped in amusement and he was laughing from inside looking at her expressions.

Avu- what the heck!

Sid- why are you so shocked... If you can kiss me in your drunken state then why not now ?

He said making the an innocent face and heat rushed up to her cheeks like always, on the mention of that day.

Sid- new fact cats can blush

He stated like in a professional voice.

Avu- I am not blushing

Sid- did I mentioned you ?

He said innocently making a thinking face but a small smirk played over the corner of his lips. Her cheeks turned one more shade redder due to getting caught.

Avu- abb..bba leave aside bandar (monkey)

Sid- arey atleast you can give me a thankyou kiss

He pouted extending his cheek towards her more closer and she gulped her saliva while Sid was enjoying her reactions. Composing herself she took a deep breath and tried to push him

Avu- bandar ke bacche (monkey's kid) you are stinking

She somehow managed not to shutter and appreciate herself for this.

Sid- and what if I wasn't stinking

He asked with a deep gaze taking one more step towards her. But she didn't answered nor looked towards him.

Sid- would you have kissed me if I wasn't stinking ?

Leaning closer he almost ended all the gap between them, making her butterflies groove along with his heartbeats again.

Sid- answer na Nakchadhi

She closed her eyes tightly feeling his lips just inches apart. Her lips trembled in nervousness dragging his attention towards her lips.

Tilting his head, closing his eyes slowly, he leaned more closer. But he opened his eyes before he could even close them completely and Avu too opened her eyes and gasped when a voice made its way into their ears.

Vaish- Avu... Sid

Both SidNeet looked at each other and Avu started panicking.

Avu- not again

She whispered to herself in a panic voice which Sid heard as he was still standing very close to her.

Vaish- Sid... Avu

Knock Knock  both SidNeet heard knock at the bathroom's door and they gulped their saliva looking at each other.

Vaish- Avu are you inside ? Sid...

Avu- di I am here

Replied Avu quickly after blocking Sid's mouth with her hand as he was also about to answer.

Vaish- so you are alone there or like previous time..

She asked teasingly in which get cut by Avu in between.

Avu- No di I am alone

She said nervously, memories of that day again raised the heat of her cheeks while Sid gave her a look  really  through his eyes in which he received a glare from her.

Vaish- huff! I thought something else

She said in disappointment and Avu's eyes widened. She glanced at Sid who was enjoying her condition and also she was clearly able to feel his skirk under her palm.

Vaish- leave it, do you know where id Sid ?

Avu- umm No di, how would I know ?

She replied trying to make her lie sound realistic and this time Sid was having a look  seriously  and a mischievous idea popped into his mind and he tickled her belly making her gasp at his sudden movement and she chuckled out of control.

Vaish- Avu are you laughing ?

Avu- No.. No di... Why will I laugh ?

She said suppressing her laughter as Sid continued tickling her.

Vaish- okay I'll check him in the garden

Avu- o..oka.ay di

And Vaish left from there and finally Sid stopped tickling her.

Avu- idiot what was that ?

She fummed but didn't got any response. She saw Sid signalling her to her hand which was still on his mouth and she quickly pulled it back after the realisation hitted her

Sid- too desperate to feel the touch of my lips (smirked)

Avu's eyes widened and she snapped towards him

Avu- pervert

And with that she punched him hard on the right side of his belly making him wince in pain. Taking it as an advantage she pushed him and came out from the washroom.

After that both got ready and left for downstairs and had breakfast with their family. They were enjoying their family time alot.

The morning passed normally and around the noon Avu left for her room to study as the semester exams were very close. And when Avu is studying then how can Sid let his image go down in front of his mother and grandmothers so he also left for studying.

Not wanting any disturbance between the studies Sid decided to study in the balcony and Avu was on the sofa.

Sid yawned keeping his books aside as he have got tired after studying for more than two hours continuously.

To refresh his mind he listened to music for next fifteen minutes and then decided to go downstairs as it was almost the time for the lunch.

He picked up his books and went inside his room and found Avu sleeping on the sofa with her head almost hanging and one book was in her hand and one resting on her belly while some were spreaded on the table.

Sid- she always fall asleep anywhere while studying

He said shaking his head in disbelief and sighed at last and went to her. Then he kept his books on the table and kneeled down in front of her.

He gently placed her head on the sofa pulling the cushion under her head. Then his eyes roamed on her face which wasn't having any expressions but looking so calm. He don't know why but he felt like getting drown into her.

He leaned and tucked the hair strands falling over her face which was covering almost half of her face and then took a proper view of her face.

He extended his thumb towards her lips and slightly wiped the drool coming out from the corner of her lips. Her eyes shot opened feeling the warm touch of fingers on her lips.

His eyes also widened as he thought she was sleeping but as she wasn't in deep slumber so she woke up.

Her breath flinched finding him so close to her. She stared at him and his eyes also get fixed with her. Their breathes were entangling with each other and both of them were also able to hear each other's breathing.

She started breathing slowly to calm her heart which was pounding against her chest fastly.

Gulping her saliva down her throat she quickly coverd her face with her dupatta (scarf) to remove his intense gaze away.

He hitched his breath for sometime and when she didn't felt his hot breaths fumming over her, she slowly slided down her dupatta (scarf) from her eyes but her half face was still covered with it but still visible due to the thin fabric.

Again her breathes hitched when she found him still on his previous position and he was still staring at her and his face was even closer than before.

She closed her eyes tightly due to the nervousness and that was it...

Till your eyes are open I can stare into them but after you close it my full attention goes to...

He placed his plump lips over her soft lips. Shivers ran down their bodies. The thin fabric presence was almost like it don't even exist there.

His lips moved on hers forming goosebumps all over her body and she was still in shock to react.

That portion of her dupatta (scarf) got wet due to their saliva.

But within few seconds only, the realisation striked Sid's mind and he parted his lips away from her.

Avu also came back to her senses but before she was completely lost in the moment and felt like drowning into this sudden kiss or should say dry kiss but when suddenly those words from Mrs. Raina ringed into her mind.

And Sid who himself was about to pull back straight got pushed by Avu which made him startle.

Avu quickly got up from there standing at a distance from him and Sid took few steps back.

He looked at her face which have turned yellow and tears have brimmed inside her eyes which made him feel hurt.

Sid-Nakch....

He said softly taking a step towards hers but she quickly moved back blocking his way while showing him her hand.

Avu- pl..eas..se

She felt lump inside her throat and she had decided to say more but only saying that Please  was making her heart heavy.

Sid looked down as he never meant to cross her comfort zone nor he ever did it with any other girl.

Avu felt something stabbing her heart looking at his expressions but she was scared... Raina's words always haunts her even in her dreams that's why she always tries to maintain distance from Sid.

Sid was feeling very bad and he decided ask for apology for whatever just happened but when he tried to talk to her, she quickly left from the room and don't even looked towards him.

And he just kept on standing at his place like a statue. He felt like pulling his own hairs.

Sid- ahh Siddharth how can you do this ? You know that how much she hate mistakes and You... whatever happened due to the heat of moment shouldn't have happened

He kept his hands on the both sides of his head. He himself wasn't able to express this moment what he was feeling.

Sid- you are really a jerk... how I didn't realise what was I doing ?

He keep on cursing and blaming him for sometime and then decided that he will somehow talk to her and say sorry.

Sid- now remember one thing you don't have to do anything like this again... try to control over yourself Siddharth... You have to... But how can I, I don't know what happens to me whenever I go closer to her...

He kicked hard on table's leg but the pain was very less than the complications of his situation.

Sid- It's completely different from the feeling rather than other girls... But you have to control yourself... Don't forget you are her rival whom she hates

His lips trembled saying the last line and he felt pangs inside him.

Sid- stay away from her... Okay... just stay away

Ignoring the unknown feeling which was bothering him with his sudden decision he also left for downstairs.

Everyone started eating their lunch while chatting and Avu and Sid was just sitting there with a fake smile.

Sid was continuously stealing glances of her who was sitting just beside him but she don't even looked towards her.. not even for once.

After the lunch, he again tried to talk to her but she was continuously ignoring him. Though she usually ignores him but today it was bothering him a lot, he was feeling restless.

More time passed like this, Sid was sitting on the couch of the hallway balcony completely lost in his thoughts when a servant came to him.

Serv- Sir

But Sid was too lost to even realise it so the servant again called him.

Serv- sir actually I have to say something about Madam

That  Madam  word was enough to drag his attention and he finally looked towards the servant.

Sid- do you mean Nak... Avneet

The servant nodded politely and Sid gestured him to continue.

Serv- sir few minutes ago we saw Mam running out of the Mansion and she was looking upset and worried.

Sid's heart beat increased on this.

Sid pov
She can't do anything like before... Siddharth all this is happening because of you. You are so useless

Sid quickly got up from his place amd started going from there when the servant interrupted.

Serv- Sir

But before he could complete Sid himself said

Sid- have you seen where she was going ?

Serv- sir she has taken the car along so we can ask the driver

She taken the car with her  made Sid little relieved and he nodded and quickly asked about the driver's name who has went along with her.

Then he quickly went outside his house and sat inside his car then he quickly dialled to the driver and asked him to send her location and started driving.

Sid- why this girl always needs to dissapear without informing anyone ? Not me then atleast she could have informed dadi (grandmother), Mom or bhabhi (sister-in-law)

He said to himself in a frustrated voice and banged his hands against the staring wheel.

Soon he reached on the location told by the driver and staring at the building in front of him he muttered to himself.

Sid- why here, in a hospital ? Is she well, has anything happened to her ? Siddharth stop thinking nonsense and first go inside.

Then he started walking towards the hospital entrance but suddenly stopped.

Sid- I can't go like this.. but I don't have any mask or any handkerchief with me. But I've my goggles with me in the car

He quickly went back to his car and wore the goggles whose size was too big covering half of his face.

He hanged his head low so that no one notices his face and went inside. He then went to the receptionist and asked

Sid- has Ms. Avneet Kaur come here ?

Recep- who are you to her sir ?

Sid- actually we are family and she have called me here but forgot to tell me the details and also her phone is switched off

Recep- it's okay Sir. And yes she came here a while back.

Replied the receptionist politely and tried to look at his face but as he wasn't letting her see him.

Then she told him the room number and without waiting for anything else or listening to what the receptionist was telling him, he rushed to find the room.

He was in so hurry that he don't even noticed the girl coming from another direction and got bumped with her.

Girl- hey you mist..

But she stopped in the middle and stared at Sid who was fumming.

Sid- can't you see ? (gritting his teeth)

Girl- it's okay no need to get angry handsome

Sid- look I am already pissed off so don't test my patience

Girl- wohh! Angry young handsome man

Sid rolled his eyes and started walking off from there and the girl screamed from behind

Girl- hey can we hang out someday ?

But Sid didn't bothered to reply and the girl followed

Girl- or we can go for a coffee

And Sid keep again ignored her and she huffed.

Sid- stop following me (coldly)

Girl- who said I am following you

She said rolling her eyes and Sid too rolled his eyes.

Finally Sid stopped and kept his hand over the knob of the door and the girl also kept his hand over his. Sid looked at her and the girl did the same.

Sid- so you weren't following me

He said in a curt voice.

Girl- seems like our destination is same

Said the girl and winked which Sid ignored gritting his teeth and went inside and the girl also entered inside.

Avu who was sitting inside turned her head towards the door listening to click sound of the door.

She was shocked to see Sid there. Sid was also shocked. Both stared at each other for few seconds but Sid quickly broke it as the noon incident flashed in his mind, feeling him from guilt.

Avu- what are you doing here ?

Girl- arey what do you mean by what am I doing here ? Did you forgot me so early ?

Said the girl dramatically coming forward and Avu gave a smile to the girl and replied

Avu- no I didn't forget you... I am asking to him ?

She said pointing her index finger towards Sid whose eyes were roaming in every direction of that room.

Girl- ohh!

But suddenly something striked her mind.

Girl- that means you know him ?

She asked with curiosity and Avu looked at Sid for few seconds and then back to the girl and nodded.

While Sid's focus was on scanning the room. His eyes were stucked at the bed where a man around his between his forties was laying looking completely pale and weak.

Sid- who is he ?

Asked Sid turning towards Avu and Avu also looked at him and then to the man.

Girl- he is my dad
