It was Thanksgiving day and you and Blaze were having some girl time while talking about boys.

"So Y/N, what kind of boys do you like?"

"Well...I like boys who are sweet, strong, brave, and would care about me all the time."

"I like shy boys. They just look so cute when they're nervous. So do you have a crush on anyone?" You blushed in embarrassment.

"W-Well...um..."

"Come on. You can tell me. I won't tell anyone."

"I-I like....Knuckles."

"That's so cute girl. I like Silver. So have you told him yet?" You sighed softly.

"No...I don't usually talk to him much since he's always busy."

"Well today could be your lucky day! You can tell him how you feel!"

"I don't think he likes me that way. I always had a feeling that he liked Rouge."

"But have you see how he acts around Rouge? He looks like that he couldn't stand her."

"I don't know Blaze. He probably doesn't feel the same way for me."

"You may never know. Hey! I know! How about you invite all of our friends over for Thanksgiving dinner and when it is time to tell each other what we are thankful for, you can see if Knuckles will confess!"

"Do you think it could work?"

"Let's hope so." You thought about it for a minute until you finally said something.

"O-Ok."

"Great! I believe in you Y/N."

"Thanks Blaze." You grabbed your phone and began to call your friends. You told them that you were having Thanksgiving dinner at your place. They agreed to join you. You smiled and hung up.

"They're on their way." Y/N said.

"Ok. Can I borrow your make up? I want to impress Silver."

"Sure." "Thanks." Blaze smiled as she ran upstairs. Later, everyone arrived at your place.

"Hi Y/N!"

"Hey guys. Happy Thanksgiving. Come on in." Everyone walked inside one by one. When you saw Knuckles, you blushed slightly.

"Hi Knuckles." Knuckles just nodded. Rouge tried to hold Knuckles hand but he kept removing it. You started to feel a little bit jealous when you see her touch him. Everyone was in the living room waiting for you.

"So when are we having dinner?" Sonic asked. You widened your eyes.

"Oh no! I forgot to buy Thanksgiving food!"

"Don't worry! I'll get them for you!" Sonic said.

"Thanks Sonic."

"No problem. Be right back!" Sonic said as he ran off. You looked at Knuckles and saw Rouge snuggling him. You sigh quietly as you walked towards the kitchen. What you didn't know, is that Knuckles saw that you were upset. He removed himself from Rouge as he walked towards the kitchen. Rouge was shocked when she saw this. She growled quietly. Knuckles walked towards you.

"Hey..." You turned around slowly.

"Oh...hey."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Oh come on. You can tell me."

"I don't want to talk about it. But...can I ask you something?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"What are you thankful for? What makes you happy?"

"I can't tell you yet."

"Why?"

"It's a surprise."

"Please can you tell me?"

"Sorry. You'll find out later tonight."

"Knuckles?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you...like Rouge? Like more than a friend?"

"Well actually..."

"Knuckles. I was looking for you. Come on. I have something for you." Rouge said as she dragged Knuckles out of the kitchen. You and Knuckles looked at each other as he was getting dragged. You lowered your head sadly as you went to get a cup a water. Suddenly Sonic came back.

"I got the food!" Sonic's smiled faded when he saw you upset.

"Hey are you ok? Did something happen?"

"No I'm fine. Let's just get dinner ready."

"Ok."
