Thalia 

I'm in Cabin 8 with the rest of the huntresses right now, but I want to be in Cabin 1 with Jason. 

I'm losing Annabeth, and she's the closest thing I have to a sister, but I don't want to lose my brother too. 

It's the middle of the night, but since I'm technically not a camper anymore, the nymphs can't really do anything to me. 

I reach the door of Cabin 1 and knock on the door. 

"If he answers the door, that means his awake. If he doesn't, go back to Cabin 8."

I hear footsteps on the other side of the door, and it opens. 

"Hey, Thalia."

"Hey, Jason. Can I stay in here with you tonight?"

He looks startled by this question, but there's no taking it back now.

"Um... Sure." he moves away from the door to let me in, and I see the huge statue of my Dad. 

Zeus.

"I really don't like him right now." I whisper to Jason. 

"Yeah. You and me both."

We head over to my old bunk and sit down. 

I grab the box from underneath, and take the lid off. Inside are pictures of Annabeth, Luke, and I, from when we were younger.

"How old was she?" Jason asked. 

It takes me a bit to figure out if I want to tell him or not, but in the end, I tell him.

"7... She was 7 when Luke and I found her."

"Oh... How- how did you... Find her?"

"We were in Richmond, Virginia....... Luke and I had just gotten out of.... A situation, and were heading to our hideout, in Jamestown. We went down an alley, near a construction site, and Luke herd something. We stopped walking for a minute to see if we could figure out where it was coming from. Well, we figured out the noise was something that hid behind a sheet of metal, when we went to move it... Annabeth jumped out. At that moment she scared us, but after we were able to get her under control to where she wouldn't hurt us, we learned that we had scared her more then she scared us."

"Oh... Why was she in Richmond?"

"That's where her dad use to live. She ran away. I'm not sure how long she was out on her own before we found her..." 

We sit there for awhile just looking at pictures. When we look up, it's dawn. 

"Well I guess we won't be getting any sleep tonight." Jason said. 

"Nope. I guess not."

We get dressed and head out to the pavilion for breakfast and today's announcements...
