"Fontaine this is closed for police investigations!" Finn whispered rather scared and nervous.
"Don't worry we're not going to destroy evidence" she responded. They snuck into the great hall and headed to the spot wear Emma disappeared from.
"Do we have to wear these shoe covers and gloves?" Finn asked looking down at the blue bags on his feet.
"Yes it means they're less likely to be able to tell we were here" Fontaine was examining the place Emma was last seen. She walked a few paces into the corridor and found the place where Alpheus had just appeared that night.
"Fontaine? What are you doing?"
"The lights were out for about 40 seconds right?"
"Yeah" Fontaine walked back to the place where Emma had been. 35 seconds.
"Hmmm"
"What are you thinking?"
"Follow me" she walked back out to the corridor. Finn shrugged and just did it. He found it was always best to listen to Fontaine. She was a lot smarter than him. And most kids their age. And older.
"Sooo.. What are you looking for"
"A trap door" Finn sort of understanding what she was thinking started to help. "Over here!" Finn ran over to her. Together they pulled up the carpet and the loose floorboards to reveal another tunnel.
