I walked silently back to class.it was break over and few hours more, we'd close for the day.if you ask me,

I don't think I was even ready to go home.you know apart from catching up with friends and other classmates. It was really good to be back to school.

I sat down on my seat, and few minutes later Mrs Joy walked into the class with Adam trailing behind her.Mrs joy was our English teacher though.throughout today we hadn't learnt much.maybe cause it was still the first day of school.

" settle down everyone " she called out as students quickly scurried to their seats, quickly dismissing the small chit chat that had been going on.

" hello " someone called beside me and I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that it was Adam.he had a deep voice which sounded so melodic

" hey Adam " I say abit shy and nervous. I wasn't used to talking to him

And I so pray I will be able to concentrate with him sitting beside me.

" have you submitted your prefect Agenda for the term " he asked

" what Agenda? When was that discussed ? "I asked totally clueless

" the one principal Jordan had asked us to write today "

" oh " i mouthed in realisation.I had totally forgotten

" don't worry you can still write it tomorrow or rather before the week runs out.we will be having our prefects meeting on Saturday " he said giving me a cool smile

" why Saturday? Aren't there better days to hold it up " I ask trying to ignore the happy feeling which was growing in me about Adam smiling at me.

" Saturday looked more convenient for us since there is no school besides the head girl and I have already decided "

I twisted my face into a grim look as I  scoff

" surely. The head girl and you...man I need my beauty sleep on Saturday " I said rolling my eyes and he scoffed

" what's wrong with you...you're not the only one who would love to sleep anyway but at least cut out some slacks for that. It's not even going to take half of your day " he said with a hint of irritation

" don't. Just don't. You know there are boarders here too.and you should have called the prefect board and let them decide when the meeting would hold "

" so what do you think? "He asked more patiently than before.

A small smile graced widely on my lips. Wow.it was weird that we had this conversation now and I mean this was the longest conversation we ever had. And then he comes asking for my opinion

" well, say something " he said snapping his fingers at my face

I looked away shyly " oh sorry"

" but I think.during this prefect meeting on friday after school is going to be more convenient. Looking at the fact that there isn't much going on for the week so we will have enough time then..on Saturday some borders are going to be busy and all.we can't afford to waste their time " I said

Yep..some ss3 bordered but my friends and I haven't done that yet.except that sophie said during lunch that her dad.wanted her to be a border so she can concentrate fully in her studies

Adam looked thoughtful for a while before his lips strecthed into a big smile

" awesome. Didn't know you had it in you.it's such a good idea " he said and I laughed hitting his hands playfully.that looked awkward so I quickly added

" I shouldn't be teaching you your prefect duties too.besides that's more reason you should have called the prefect board meeting so we can discuss this and fix this " I said

" I know right.and thanks for the idea" he said still smiling

" I was just trying help " I said and I returned his smile back.turning my gaze back to the book which lay in front of me

I felt someone's shadow hover around my table.i took a good look at the person who stood in front of my seat.she wore a grim look at me as she stared hard

" yes how can I help you ?" I say and she hisses

" I'm here to talk to Adam"

" well talk to him and get the fuck out of here " I say nonchalantly. Suddenly getting vexed.she hissed loudly making the rest of the class to react.

" ah ah..who is that ? "

" teacher is in class ooh "

" I don't even know what this girl's problem is "

" really wonder who made her head girl ! "Okay the last voice I heard was Trust's voice.

He was kinda the guy who always said what he wanted to say not minding about the other person's feeling.sometimes he and his mouth was needed and most times he was annoying

Mrs Joy snapped her head back to the class.she had been writing the subject curriculum that she hadn't noticed Adam and I talking. Untill busybody Clara came in.

" who hissed? "She asked with annoyance so evident in her tone

" Ma! is Clara ooh " trust said and mrs joy shot clara a look

" what's wrong with you? Why are you not sitting on your seat ? "She scolded

" I'm sorry ma.but I needed to let Adam know that the principal wants all prefects to have their meeting on Saturday " she said

I scoffed. Did she hear Adam and I talking about this

" and can't that wait till I'm out of this class ?" Mrs Joy snapped still annoyed. Just then dozie strolled into the class without his blazers.infact he was wearing sweaters. making mrs joy's fix her attention to him

" good afternoon mam'm "he muttered

" and young man where are you coming from and where is your school blazer ? "

" I took it to the laundry " he said indifferently as mrs joy huffed

" listen and listen good.all of you " she called making the class focus on her

" I won't tolerate all this rubbish from next week when school resumes fully.so if you know you want to fool around then do it this week.because by next week.you won't get away with your rubbish attitude " she scolded and stormed out of the class.

" abi Clara you have finally succeeded in chasing her out of the class now can go and have your sit " trust said and she scowled at him

" you better hold yourself ooh." She warned " besides as you all heard.on Saturday is prefects meeting "

" it has to be decided by the prefect board "I said aloud and she turned to me swiftly

" and I'm the head of that board." She replied sweetly with a mock tone

I scoff.l wasn't letting her go this time "you are the head but we all made you that and if we choose to dissolve it.we can " I said fixing her a glare.

She laughed scornfully as she approached me, titling her head to one side

" on what basis are you going to dissolve me "

" on the basis of vote of no confidence" I retort and she laughed

" and you know if I step down. Adam too steps down "

" I don't know what you're thinking but I don't care cause if we hold that meeting and it's decided to be on Saturday then we wouldn't have to care whether you approve it or not right ?" I say smiling sweetly at her

She hissed " you fucking want to play politics with me or what ?"

I sigh " oh baby..I don't play those kind of games with dumb people. "I cooed making her face flush in anger

" your crazy " she huffed angrily and I smirk in triumph

" you're not better sweetheart " I say.I haven't even noticed that the class was silently watching clara and I banter a little untill someone shouted

" burn " this made the whole class erupt into more fits of laughter.

" you girls should take it easy ooh..school just started " trust said chuckling and i smile

I glanced sideways and though Adam looked like he was less interested in what just happened.he still managed to have a small smile on his lips.

Annette came around me.she sat a few miles away from my seat

" this your mouth sha. " she said and i chuckled.

" I just felt like giving it to her " I replied laughing. She really deserved it.not after what she did to me in the morning.

I still remember it .

Truth is,Clara and I never get along and that was after she purposely tripped me to break my ankle just because she thought I used a fork to hit her neck.that was in junior class.

And it wasn't me.the truth was that, Edward, a guy in the commercial class now, was the person who did it.and he happened to slip away too quickly. Before I could snitch.clara had already started calling me all sort of names cause I was the one sitting beside her.

Long story short.she had tripped me as her way of getting back at me and even when she found out that it wasn't me she never apologized.

It was so painful that I had to use crutches for almost a month.and I never got any apology from her.

Well, during senior class.I made up my mind to get back at the she-oaf  and that's how we got to this point.

" you really have fun when you revenge huh ? "A voice called behind me.

I turn my head to him with a smirk "are you okay? " I ask him the exact words he asked me when I rushed off to the bathroom.

I ran to the bathroom before break was over and dozie was calling after me.when I got into the bathroom. He proceeded to enter

" don't come in here you pervert...you've had your fun na.? "I said angrily as I try to wash off the stain off my white into an empty bowl.

" calm down joor.like if you had been less fiesty I wouldn't have had to pour ketchup on you "

" that's the most sensible thing you can say right..dozie this stain won't come off " I yell in exasperation

" it's just a stain why are doing like you're about to give birth in there "

I cursed him under my breath as I scrubbed harder.it only made the stain worse

" just avoid me ooh.you've done alot " I mutter loud enough for him to hear

" who avoids their favourite chin chin?"

" if you're here to annoy me further. Dozie I'm pleading with you just go " I say still angrily.

The idiot had ruined my first day of school appearance and here he was sprouting out rubbish

" on the contrary. I'm here to help "he said.

" I don't need your stupid help " I said aloud

" ouch..I'm hurt! " he replied and I could imagine him feigning a hurt look on his face

" stop being stupid and just go away "

" I'm sure you don't want people gazing at your red coloured white. So you better talk fast " he said.was he ordering me?

Chaii aff suffered

I sighed in resignation " how do you help "

I still don't believe I'm asking him this

" now you're acting so reasonably.. "

" Dozie!!!!" I yelled and he threw a packaged white at my face which I quickly caught

" use that "

It was looked like something he hadn't worn before

" have you worn this before " I still had to ask

" stop asking foolish questions chin chin.that's the only extra white I have" he replied and i roll my eyes at him even though he couldn't see me.

I quickly Change into the white t-shirt and rearrange my hair. I came out of the bathroom to find him still there

" thanks for your help.I know you are aware you've been in the ladies bathroom " I said with a sneer and he scoffs

" not like I was doing something wrong.."

" yea yea. " I replied in a sing song tone

" come on let's go.." he didn't wait for me to reply before he pulled me along

" where to? Stop.." I was protesting.by now we were in the class section. He stopped abruptly, turning sharply to me

" will you keep shut for a second "

" not when I'm about being coerced into doing something I don't want to do "

" something you don't want to do??" He asked looking at me like i had suddenly grown two  heads

" yes something I don't want to do "I maintained

He relaxed a bit slowly spreading a smirk along his lips

" what wouldn't you like to do with me anyway?"

I laughed awkwardly.his brown lovely eyes were dancing around me with mischief as he bit his lips gently which only made him look hot

Hot ??? Did I just say that

" pervert " I mutter and he laughed heartily

" you are a bigger pervert " he replied and I glare at him

" excuse you.you're the one who just followed me to the bathroom "

" says  the one with the dark mind of wanting to do something with me. " he replied smirking and I felt my face flush in embarrassment

" you're just stupid anyhow.." I say slapping him across the shoulders as he burst into fits of laughter.

" emm..Dozie " a teachers voice called out and dozie graoned.  I smile at him cause it happened to be the chemistry teacher mr.Emma.that one knew how to send messages anyhow.

I was about taking my leave when I heard my own name

" and you too Meera " I groaned too like dozie who was smirking at my expression

" fuck you "  I mouthed to dozie as we approach the chemistry teacher

" yes sir " after series of greeting.he was abit familiar with dozie sha

" I want you two to go and arrange the chemicals that was just brought today"

" but sir. We are art students ooh " I say and he shrugs

"So? Just do it.I'm not telling you to learn chemistry or something " he said

" but...."

" we will do it sir " dozie cuts me off and I mutter a curse at him

" that's what I want to hear..I don't see any of my students around today " he says. Dismissing us

" I don't see any of my students around today. That's what I want to hear " I mimicked as I arranged one section of the practical chemicals

" you should stop already. You're already doing it " dozie replied. He must have been tired of my complaint

" you know if you hadn't just played the nice guy role.we wouldn't have had to do this " I snap at him

" at least am nice.." he retorts smirking and I huffed, rolling my eyes at him

" doing what science students are meant to do.now how do I know where to drop this one? "

" just here " he replied taking the chemical from me to a top shelf.he placed it there.he was really tall so his hands could get there

" and this one ?" I ask and he grins.

" do it yourself "

" you know I can't reach up there na." I say biting my lips to stop me from pouting

He shrugged " not.my.business " he sang

" dozie please nah "I say and he looked at me bewildered

" so you can beg ?" He says laughing and I eventually pout

" oya.hold me up.lemme put it " I suggested.

He wrapped his hands around my torso.and slowly lifted me up but his hands were sliding down my bum.

I used one of my hands which were free to slap him

" perv. I'm going to fall if you hold me like that " he brought his hands up abit but I still couldn't reach.his hands had wrapped me beneath my bum so I could reach the shelf

" emm..where does this particular one stay ? "I ask and he groans

" Meera..."he called.his voice was a bit husky

" what?? "

" you know you're heavy right " he growled and I snort

" serves you right. I still need to figure out where to drop this " I said

I could feel his hands slowly groping my butts.he was trying to hold me up.i smiled mischeviously

" I'm done " he said suddenly dropping me down and that  made the chemical stain his own t-shirt. Cause I had turned the chemical upside down and it happened to pour on him

He looked at his clothes wide eyed while I smirked at what just happened

" what the fuck?" He growled

" oops..sorry " I say.strutting out after dusting myself. Leaving him to mutter profanities.
