Peeking through door, a very cautious step no one around, another step forward
now standing in the front of the door placed the box on the floor pressed the door bell turned on my heels running for my dear life~ ~》

The bell rang, opened the door a wrapped box is placed on the floor a letter inside reads...
To my dear readers__________

"So what are we going to do today?"I asked while sipping on coffee

"Completing the remaining assingment"Adairs replied while looking staright towards the wall

"Yeah, a lot is remaining" I sighed

The next few hours we spended completing the work and arguing about little things meanwhile Jannet too started drawing a picture, in that picture there was a girl I think Jannet drew herself surrounded by the mustard flowers in shiny day being a five year old she is good at drawing

"I think that's enough" Adaira said and sprawled on the carpet on which we were sitting with a exhausted sign.

"Yeah-" I too heaved on the floor

"Yes" Jannet exhaled a dramatic tiring breath and laid on Adairas side with a thud

Few minutes passed the only sound coming was the humming sound of Jannet singing songs

"Do you know Rick's cousin is joining our school?" I asked even though I know Rick told me when we were in the class so Adaira might not know about it but I don't know about Suzen she might have told her.

"No" She replied

Have I ever told you expecting Adaira to be excited about something is useless

No?

You better remember it

Ya and one more thing trying to have a conversation with her is really a hard work.

"Yeah, he will be joining soon"I informed her

"Oh, I see" She replied in a calm voice

"Yeah"I replied and glanced around the room my eyes fixed upon ceiling which is white and blue in colour,suddenly I remembered mom has asked me to return before one in the afternoon as few of her friends are coming home and she want' s me too to be there I looked at my watch and its was 12 :00 after working with Adaira from last few hours we almost lost the track of time

"I should leave"

She turned towards me and regarded with a raised eyebrow and suddenly looked away while realising that maybe she was not supposed to ask me

"But it's not even lunch time Blake"

Did any of you by any chance thought that it was Adaira then as I already told you don't have high hopes it was Jannet

I turned towards my left,my head resting on my palm and my weight on the elbow and turned towards Jannet

"I'm sorry Jannet" she regarded me with sad eyes

"But I have to go, I promise I will come again"
With this I left

Yesterday was really tiring first completing the assignment then meeting mom's friend requires another level of energy so nonetheless now I am dressed in my favourite blue jeans with white sweater with a black jacket and like always I raced down the stairs with so-called lighting speed,as I am late for school.

"BLAKE!" I heard my dearest beloved mothers beautiful lovely voice which in other terms is basically her yelling at me at top of her lungs

I turned around jumped on the table for breakfast which I knew I could not skip or the frequency of those memorable words will be increased in just a blink of an eye.

Mom is in her usual get up, peach dress and apron on,her hairs tiead up in a messy bun fee strands of hair peaking out
Even though she is mad at me her eyes are not coordinating with her act and therefore have a familiar warmth deep inside them

"Drink this and eat,you are already late Blake" Mom exclaimed with a tired sound and sighed

"Yes,mom"I obliged lika the good kid I am

After finishing the glass of milk and having my breakfast in minutes and setting a new record I started racing towards the door

"Blake,wait honey"Mom called me from behind
I turned around and saw her holding a envolape

"What is it mom?"I asked confussion reflecting from my face

Mom handed me the envolape

"They are the tickets for the upcoming music concert "Mom explained

"What should I do with it?"I further asked

"Your father and I bought the tickects for three of us for the concert being held on day after tomorrow but yesterday night we got an invitation for dinner with one of your father's colleague so we thought to give it you,you can take any 2 people with you"Mom explained while putting efforts on 2 people with a sheepish grin
Now I know why mom is so excited to give it to me I shaked my head at her childish act and opened it, and it was indeed the entry tickets for the upcoming concert which was going to held on day after tomorrow

I raised my head and met the warm fast eyes of my mother who was excitedly looking at me,and so I don't have heart to let her down so I replied

"Okay" I replied with a smile kept the tickets in the near drawer.

"Bye mom" I waved my hand towards my mom and started running for the school and heard my mom's faint reply

"Bye, be safe"

"For the last time I am telling you, it was not my idea"
Adaira defended

We are in our maths class preparing our presentation with a introduction and a nut shell on our topic

I have already told Adaira that we should have given the presentation first, but already another group has asked to present first and this is the reason why we have been bickering from the last 10 minutes

Adaira is standing beside me in usual black jeans with white torrtle neck under dark blue sweet shirt

"Whatever" I replied

"Group 2 please come forward"
The teacher announced and motionned us to start the introduction

"Good morning everyone, I am Adaira Patriz and my team mate Blake have made our project on the topic "Algebraic expression" So at the start I would like to tell you guys what is the meaning ,aim and why we choose this topic..." Adaira started giving the introduction

All the eyes were trained on her maybe because she was indeed explaining everything very well or it is the most anyone has ever seen her speaking

"So now I would like to call Blake to explain the rest" She turned towards me gave a gesture of hand to me to come forward

I stepped forward and started explaining the topic

I am standing at exit of the school waiting for Adaira to show up and since I don't have any one else at particular to ask for maybe you have but you just don't want to consider

No there is no one
Is that so then what about Rick and Suzen?

They might be busy for for...
I don't know
It's just I don't have anyone else to ask except....

I shaked my head in attempt to get rid of these thoughts

It's that since the tickets are for day after tomorrow itself i thought that I might ask someone or maybe Adaira in particular if she is free to join the concert with me so in slight hope I am standing here alone in exit route and waiting for her to show up and so called politely ask her to join me

I adjusted my weight on the other foot whistling slowly running my hands through my hairs carelessly taking few steps back and forth every now and then, I again glanced towards the door and nearly jumped when I saw Adaira heading towards the way unaware of my presence coming all alone like she always does

When She was just a foot away from me looking towards another direction and walking I her own rhythm

"Hey!" I called out making sure she heard me

After she heard me calling her she slowly turned towards me her black hairs covering half of her forehead styled in different style and neatly tied up in a bun.
Have I ever mentioned she rarely opens her hairs
And that they really do give a perfect mixture with her skin complexion making her look even more intimidating

"Yes?"She asked doubt evident in her voice.
Now that we were close enough I don't have to yell or say loud

Nervousness started building inside me so I rubbed back of neck and stuffed my another hand deep inside the pocket.

"Would you...
I mean would you like to go out with me day after tomorrow?" I asked and looked straight into her eyes which were now slightly wide but were soon replaced with the usual blank one never giving someone any clue

"You mean on Wednesday?"She asked

"Yeah" I replied

"Where exactly?" She further asked

"Christmas is coming and there is a music concert organised every year near the school"
I explained trying my best to keep my voice in control not to sound too effected

"I know but I have to look after
Jannet I can't leave her you know" She reasoned trying her best to not to sound harsh or offence

"I already bought the tickets and I have ticket for Jannet too"
I said and finally stuffed my other hand in pocket too
Did that sound too desperate? Please save me from further embarrassment
"Are you sure I should tag along Jannet...." She asked and her eyes met mine but she kept on rambling

"That won't be a problem if it makes you happy" I said and waited for her reply

This time I was able to read her expressions, her eyes shocked by my statement,a very very slight pink colour rising on cheeks but I was not able to guess anything else.

Please don't say no it would be too embarrassing
Maybe turning around running was indeed a good option

I told you, you dumbass

But I think the damage is already done

"Okay then" She passed me a small smile which happens once in a leap year,turned around and left.

"I will text you the time and place" I yelled and stayed there like that for next few minutes

That night I was not the only one in my dreams.
