Susan gestured towards the empty chair across her on our table.
Besides me and I know she did that intenionally.
Adaira  took the seat rather reluctantly.

"Hi Adaira this is Rick and you already know Blake" Susan told her while gesturing towards us simultaneously.

"Hi Rick"
"Hi umm Adaira"She greeted me

Then she sat beside me and turned towards Suzen as she asked Adaira in very exciting voice,

"What do you have for lunch"

"Sandwich" She  repleid

"I hope you won't mind joining us for the lunch"

"No,of course not"

"Why, don't you join us for lunch from tomorrow onwards?"

"But"

Adaira looked bit stralted

"We like your company, don't we Rick,Blake?"

"Yes" I and Rick replied at the same time

"So are you going to the party"
Suzen asked and I was literally waiting for this question

"Umm no" Adaira. replied

"Why, it would be fun" Suzen said being stubborn

There was silence for a few moments
"I am not a party person" Adaira  said trying to be reasonable

The bell rang

"Well thank you guys I have to go now,see you tomorrow" She smiled at Suzen and then turned towards us and then left.

I was heading towards Adaira's locker for the survey, as we have decided,today's weather was rainy but I like it

She was standing near her lock and putting some books in her bag

"Hey, Adaira"

"Hi Blake"

"Ready to go?" I asked her

"Yes"
She  was standing just beside me and I was looking at the floor but suddenly a girl came nearly 5 years old and hugged her,reaching her waist.

"Hey, Janet" Adaira  said to Janet in a sweet voice

Well its the first time Adaira  is talking in this much sweet voice,so carefree,happy and smiling too
Janet seems to be someone special to her

Well honestly Janet looks cute, her red chubby cheeks and light pink dress suits her.

"How was your day" She asked Janet

"Nice and yours Adaira" Janet asked her

"Nice sweety"

I cleared my throat to have their attention
Janet looked at me as if I had stolen her chocolates.

"Who's this Adaira, is he bothering you?" Janet asked with anger in her voice which suprised me because I am pretty sure I do not look scary.

OR DO I?

"No, Janet he is my friend Blake" She said

"And Blake this is my sister Janet"

Oh so that's her sister.

"Hey, Janet" I said while giving Janet a high-fi

"Hii Blake"

" Well Blake, Janet is coming with us hope you won't mind" Adaira asked me

Well she has a completely different personality around Janet

"Well of course, wanna eat ice-cream Janet?" I asked Janet that way I could get to know something about Adaira

Janet looked at Adaira, I guess for approval and I know Adaira is going to deny so before she could say anything I interrupted them

"Come on, we are getting late"

I held Janet's arms and started walking towards parking slot and Janet was giggling

"Umm Blake,its parking slot, ain't we were gonna walk?" Adaira asked me

"I borrowed my fathers car" I replied her

Soon we were in front of my Juddy yes I named the car Juddy, and hepled Janet to seat in the backseat, Adaira was going to seat beside Janet but I held her wrist

"Adaira,do sit at front as I don't know the direction to park" I said in a hope that my lame excuese would work

There was a few moments of silence

"Okay" Adaira said and I loosend my grip on her wrist and she walked towards the front seat after fastening seat belt of Janet

And here I was doing a victory dance in my head

The ride was silent except Adaira's  voice while only giving directions

Well we all know how talkative Adaira  is

Soon we reached the cafè, for Ice-cream,
Yes only I know how difficult it was for me from persuading ice queen for coming her

*Flashback*

"Blake,the park right side"

"I know"

"Then, why are you taking the left side?"

"We are going to eat Ice-cream"

"But why we have to take the survey, it might get dark soon"

"We could take the survey at cafè too,I know few people who would help us"

Yes I know another lame excuse, because in that cafè there are merely few people, but what is most important is it has my favourite ice-cream

"But you could eat ice-cream another day?"

"What!! Adaira do you want me to starve and faint or oh no you want me to starve to death? Or are you afraid of dark?"

"No! Why would I want you to die-

She don't want me to die?
She want me to live she likes my company??
I guess she too realised what she said

"I mean if you die I have to complete teh whole survey by myself, and mister I.am.not.scared.of.dark."

Yeah try to make another excuse

"Yeah,sure you are not scared"

And here I thought we are gonna talk but it's Adaira  who we are talking about, and later we had the most amazing chat

Yes you got it

Silence

Silence

So I think its time to end this amazing conversatiom

"We have arrived"
I announce and stepped out of the car and went for Janet

We both walked towards
Counter I ordered for 3 ice-cream passed One to Janet and another one to ice-queen

I know she won't damage her reputation of ice-queen

I offered her,and got the most loveliest smile and
a blank stare.
(Note the sarcam)

"Come on, it's not poisoned, or what you can't even eat an ice-cream and here I thought you are cool"

I know this is the only way she would accept my treat

"I can eat,"
And she took the ice-cream
We choosed a table at the corner and started eating our treat

So its time to start a conversstion Janet, cause I want to know about Adaira, and if I depend on time, when wait till she would tell me about her willingly then, I might I have to wait for a decade or so

"Janet,do you like the ice-cream?"

I asked

And Janet looked too happy,her cheeks turned more red I don't think they can turn more red,

"Yes"Janet replied in a cheerful tone "You are nice,than those boys-

"Which boys Janet?"

"Umm the kids at her school are really naughty ain't they Janet?" Adaira interrupted,
and give Janet a stern look

I knew something was wrong

Adaira was disturbed by this conversation so before I could ask anything more

"I think we should be leaving,we have to take the surveys" Adaira announced

"And where are your so called friends Blake, who were gonna help us in interview"

Ohh yes, well I actually I do have a friend here,
He works here left compartment he do have 2 friends who work with him they are good and it's the first time I am gonna meet them with someone.

"Yeah,in left compartment" I replied

"His name is Henry, and I know him since my childhood he works here and he might be with his friends Edward and Franny they both are his co-workers"
I explained while interlocking my fingers with little hand.Janet liked to walk with me.
I must admit we were making a good team.

We waited near the counter, after sometime I was able to find Henrry,he was same as my height,wearing grey shirt over black jeans and with his blue eyes he looked awesome,
Moreover many girls came here just to meet him and Fanny and Edwars are  also  good looking

We made walked towards him and I patted at his shoulder to gain his attention, he turned  back

"Hey, Blake how long time,man"Henrry greeted me

"Hey,how is everything going?" I asked him

"Nice" He replied then his gaze fell on the little
Beauty beside me,Janet

"And who is this pretty young lady"He asked me while giving a polite smile towards Janet
And his gestures towards Janet made her more happy

"This is Janet my new frined, and Janet this is Henrry my frined"

"Hey, Janet" He greeted her

"Hello, Henrry"She replied in her sweet voice

Then his gaze fell on Adaira,who was listening to this coversation quitly.

Henrry give me a mischievous smile,then turned towards Adaira

I crossed my finger of my free hand at my back and prayed please don't say something embarrassing.

"So you guys are on a date"
Henrry said
