Pen Name: AlwaysLostInWords

Username: AlwaysLostInWords

Is your pen name your legal name? If no, then how did you make up one?

I haven't really created a pen name for myself, instead just use the username I first created when I joined Wattpad. It probably seemed the most apt, since when I read, I do tend to get lost in the words of the book and find myself to be elsewhere. I might create a Pen Name for myself later, although not sure what it would be.

How many books have you published till date?

I have three completed books, including a dialogue book, on Wattpad, and currently two that are on-going.

What are your future projects?

I have quite a few ideas for some new books. After Forever and Intertwined are complete, I'm planning to work on a Mafia book or possibly Werewolf. I've actually started on both and, and have an idea for how I want them to go, so I'm excited for that. But there are so many more that I have the inspiration for.

What is writing to you?

Writing is fun to me. I always end up making stories up when I can't sleep, or when I'm watching something, I think of how I'd want things to go, or just get inspiration from there. I like to read a lot, and writing is new, but I've found it to be quite fun, because I can determine the way things will do.

Is being an author, your long time dream or a hidden passion you found out later?

When I was younger, being a writer was just one of the dreams I had, but then didn't think I had it in me, so it was forgotten. When I discovered Wattpad around two years ago, everything changed after that, because it was such an easy platform to create stories, and I guess that kind of helped me find the author within me.

What genre books you like to work on?

It's funny because I'm not even someone who watches Romantic stuff, or is into cheesy movies, and yet those are the books I currently have published.

I'm not caught up so much in the genre, as I am in the story itself. I write the book first, and then think of the genre later, but generally it does end up in the romantic section, which is probably because for some reason I find it easy to write.

If we challenge you to write a book of another genre we suggest, then would you take it up?

I'd be a little scared, but yeah, I would take it up. It would be a way to challenge myself and probably the way I write, which would be quite fun to do. I'd want to be able to prove to myself that I can do more, and work on something that isn't expected of me. I do want to try and write a Thriller book, because those are the kind I read, but it requires a really good plot and twists, that I haven't got just yet.

Then we would love to read a Medieval times Thriller Suspense book from you soon.

Writing is a reality that paints a beautiful fantasy. What do you think are the charms of writing fiction/non fictional books?

I think the charm of writing books, is the ability to pull someone into the world you create through your words. You get so invested within it, you start reacting as if you were in that situation, or just watching it unfold in front of your eyes, which I think is amazing. I'm seeing people comment on my book either angry at a character, or happy for them, and it makes me so happy, because I feel like I've been able to pull them into the story.

Who are your favorite authors in and out of wattpad?

On Wattpad, there are so many amazing writers, I think the ones that definitely had me floored were, ObsceneIrrationality, their Mafia trilogy was early books I read on Wattpad, and loved so much, and Heavy Wears The Crown, is probably one of my favourite books out there. KylieAlyssa, who wrote Fighting for Life had me up all night till sunrise reading her book, because I couldn't put it down. greenwriter, I love her Haverston Family and Everard Family books. She created this amazing world, and I'm completely hooked. joymoment, her writing is so descriptive, I think I'm watching her story, and not just reading it. ninyatippett , her books really aren't ones that I want to put down, even after I've read it.

These are only a few, but I could literally go on about Wattpad writers that I think are amazing, my reading lists are full of books from writers that I love.

Out of Wattpad, JK Rowling, is definitely my favourite, the Harry Potter series is my all-time favourite books and probably why I first got into reading. Michael Murpurgo, Clare Mackintosh, Paula Hawkins, Louisa May Alcott are a few of my favourites. There a load of authors I love, but I'm just terrible with names.

Name few of your close wattpad friends.

Unfortunately, I don't have close Wattpad Friends, but hopefully that will change in the near future. I keep myself anonymous, so that probably doesn't help either. I'm an introvert in reality, but I'm trying to build up that level of confidence.

What is your favorite series you have recently watched or read?

The Jack Ryan Series on Amazon is one that I've recently watched, and I'm so hooked. I've seen Harrison Ford play the character before, but with this series, because it's more current, it makes for a such a great watch. I'm more someone who is into Action movies and shows, so this was the one for me.

Who is your favorite actor/actress?

I don't really have favourites, but there are some when I watch their performance on screen or when they're playing a character I already love, I'm so into it. Or because they're so incredibly good-looking, I have to watch them. Some of the few actors and actresses I love include; Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Saoirse Ronan, Margot Robbie, Emilia Clarke, Tom Hardy and Gal Gadot. But there so many more I could list.

Who is your favorite Villain you couldn't help but love?

I guess that would be Professor Snape from Harry Potter. He seemed like a villain throughout the series, until you got towards the end, and you realise that he wasn't always that way, he changed, and then he was kind of good all along. Another favourite would be Darth Vader from Star Wars, not sure why, but I couldn't hate him. He kind of has this looming presence, but I think he's cool.

What are your hobbies other than writing and reading?

I really wish I had more hobbies to be honest, but I don't think there are enough hours in the day. I think travelling would be one, there are so many places I want to go and discover. I'm currently trying to learn Spanish, and hope to one day actually hold a conversation in that.

What are your hidden talents?

I don't think I've discovered my hidden talent, if I have one that is. This probably doesn't count but I'm really great a remembering random facts about people, places, movies, anything in general. Not sure why I remember it, but I do.

Who is your first celebrity crush?

Not sure about my first, but current crush is definitely Chris Evans (Captain America). I love him 3000.

What is the most embarrassing situation that you have ever been through?

Most embarrassing moment would be when I was younger, and was having a birthday party with all my friends about. My brother decided in that moment it would be funny to pull the chair from under me as I was about to sit down. I can laugh about it now, but definitely not at the time when it happened.

One craziest thing you have ever done?

I'm a calm person in general, so I don't really have crazy moments unfortunately, I wish I did though. The craziest thing would probably be booking spontaneous holidays, and working out the details later, after I've booked it.

There are many authors who just started their journey and many readers who want to write but has no courage to do so. Please give them a tip and a word of encouragement.

As a tip, I'd just say go for it. I honestly had no intention of writing at the start, and my stories kind of just stayed in my head, but eventually, I just thought I have nothing to lose, and just published my story on the site. I didn't think about whether it'd be popular or anything, I was just happy to have a book to call my own, and actually be able to call myself an author. It such an amazing feeling to see even one person read something you wrote, and to get that feeling, you have to be just a little brave and just write.

Last but not the least, have you ever dreamt of writing your own comic?

Yes! I'm a huge Marvel and DC Comic fan, and absolutely love superhero movies and shows, so maybe one day I'll have one of my own, but have no clue what it'd be about or anything.
