Is your pen name your legal name? If no, then how did you make up one?
My pen name is not my legal name. I made it up because it presents my initials - GOA ;)
How many books have you published till date?
Three books, two books are on the way to be published on Amazon... if you intended official publishing. If you meant on Wattpad, I have published four books, but some of them have not been posted wholly but partly.
What are your future projects?
The trequel of FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION, FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION 4 may be written and published (this will depend on my fantasy: how I finish the story about Milano and Veronica). I will publish a paranormal story in 2020 (the title is a secret) and also, the new adult story SEA PEBBLES which centers on bullying in a girl's life. I announced it a long time ago on my Wattpad's wall. Maybe, I will write a trequel to CLUB DRUNKEN CHERRY – the story about Richard and Helena; I am not sure yet... my readers didn't ask me to write about them, so this is only my plans. If I see that FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION series will become a hit, I'll write the continuation of the last FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION book – the love story about Milano and Veronica's baby.
The title of the work is connected with India; this is a spoiler. Then, I think I'll publish the story about Milano's younger brother Luigi, the events about and around him occurred in the Russian city – St. Petersburg, the main MC of FIP Series –Veronica's native town as you know. This book about Luigi will end the biggest Veneziani Family Series that includes FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION volumes, and the story about Milano and Veronica's baby. Some readers asked me to write a book about Lucenzo, but it was not a huge request, so I do not know whether to oblige them or not.
I have the intention of publishing a beautiful love story that took place in Dubai, UAE, and also the suspense-filled story that happened in Cairo, Egypt. You will ask me why I have chosen those to write about those cities. It is simply because I visited them all by myself and felt the atmosphere of those beautiful cities. I want to share it with my readers and fans, and I want to know how they would like it. I also have secret projects – like Forbidden Love, it centers on the main heroes; the story talked about events that occurred in Spain. There is also the story of what happened in England. I haven't visited those countries yet, but who knows? I only know some fragmentary knowledge about England and Spain. But anyway, I can always ask my friends who live in England or Spain if I have doubts about what obtains in these countries.
What is writing to you?
The escape from reality. I can also quote myself: "The Romance books are like a place where people can go and forget about their life's problems for a while."
Is being an author, your long time dream or a hidden passion you found out later?
It happened in a flash. I mean, I felt that I wanted to write something emotional and I started writing my first story when I was at my work and had a break. It was in the year 2009 if I am not mistaken. Later I stopped; my writing was reborn in 2013 when I decided to write my biggest novel in volumes – FATEFUL ITALIAN PASSION. I liked to express my emotions; I am happy that I did it at last. I started my first story, but to date, I have not been able to finish it. It is still in a draft stage and lying in my table's drawer (figuratively). I hope to publish it as soon as I finished all the projects in my plan. This love story is a Historical Romance, anyway, I hope people will like it, it doesn't matter if it has erotic scenes or not.
What genre books you like to work on?
ROMANCE is a genre I always love to work on. It also includes all sub-genres of Romance like Dark Romance, Erotic Romance, Suspense Romance, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance, and even Historical Romance! They captivate me all the time. I like to explore people's nature in my books, their behavior, their actions, their complicated world of fantasies and dreams, their souls' and hearts' world, etc.
If we challenge you to write a book of another genre we suggest, then would you take it up?
Of course. I know what every story needs to have. I want to test my skills in HORROR or THRILLER because, in my book, Club Drunken Cherry, it contains some suspense I described there. I know what it means to show a crime scene in my book. I took my pen and started writing a story in a horror genre, but I still don't know how my readers will react to it. I will continue with that later because what is paramount is – finishing the essential projects.
Then we would like to read a Warewolf genre book from you soon.
Writing is a reality that paints a beautiful fantasy. What do you think are the charms of writing fiction/non fictional books?
The charms of writing are when you can share your thoughts and find adherents who think like you. I suppose this is a fantastic feeling to know how many people share your views and can comment on your books, telling you how your books changed their lives. I had such in my life as a writer; I am happy that my friends, readers felt so too. More so, written works can heal the soul of a reader or make him realize what the meaning of life is without lying or hidden secrets. I think writing is a considerable preventive measure for depression and a bad mood. Writing is psychotherapy for a writer to solve his psychological or other problems. It is a good remedy for the reader, especially when he reads this written works on the internet.
Who are your favorite authors in and out of wattpad?
OMG, this is hard to say, but I will mention the authors whose names would always come to my mind in a second: E. L. James, Pepper Winters, Sylvain Reynard, Sylvia Day, Christina Lauren, Katy Evans, Lisa Renee Jones among bestsellers. If name the authors who are not bestsellers–Lexy Miles, Phoebie Killingsworth, Luke P. Narlee, Sheena Austin, Debra-Ann Kummong, etc
Name few of your close wattpad friends.
These are some of the names few of my closest Wattpad friends and authors with the potential of becoming published writers worldwide (some are already published officially on Amazon): tamlaura1, desirediaries, Olivia453, _daylaylay_16, adverbially, Chocolate-Lover93, Catherine_Edward, leximilesauthor, Suzidebeer, elephant44, fxckedupmess, KimRussell1995, Praggya_Sabarwal, Juette_Curtina, KSN2501, WackyMinx, EliesaL, xxallmylove, BethWin70.
What is your favorite series you have recently watched or read?
FIFTY SHADES OF GREY by E. L. James, GABRIEL INFERNO by Sylvain Reynard, INDEBTED by Pepper Winters, BEAUTIFUL by Christina Lauren, THE REAL by Katy Evans. They are the best for me at the moment.
Who is your favorite actor/actress?
Hmm, I have so many of them in my FAV list. Ha-ha... but I can prioritize just some of them. For example, Leonardo Di Caprio is the best actor for me who can create so many different images in movies! He is such an amazing actor! I can also add to the male actors like Johnny Depp. His Jack Sparrow is the legendary movie's character. Lol, I still remember his walk. About Brad Pitt, I can say he is okay, but he's almost the same on the screen. I mean, I do not see any improvement in his acting – he plays almost himself (the same character) in all movies. Benedict Cumberbatch is a talented actor; believe he can make a good career in the movie industry if he plays in the right films. Tom Cruise is good too. Ups, I forgot about Cillian Murphy and James Dordan – they are just not so popular, but their works are always amazing to see - I love these men! I cannot name Shah Rukh Khan (India) also – the famous Bollywood actor. Among other foreign actors who are not from Bollywood, I have Giulio Berruti (Italy), Russian actors like Vladimir Mashkov and Alexander Petrov for now. Danila Kozlovsky is cool, but he plays himself (the same character) mostly.
Among actresses, I can mention Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, and Kate Winslet. I adore these women because of their talents, creativities, and how they live by their roles; they don't just act like porcelain dolls. Lol. No, they are vivid and unrepeatable in any angle of the camera. Among foreign actresses who are not from Hollywood, I make bold to mention A Bollywood actress, Kajol. Among Russian actresses, I cannot pick anyone right now; they are not so charismatic.
Who is your favorite Villain you couldn't help but love?
From my book? Well, he's Mr. Grave, lol. He's vicious and a real bastard. Eeh... From other books, I cannot remember, I barely read Romance where the villains are so evil. Perhaps... Jethro's father – Bryan Hawk from INDEBTED series by Pepper Winters.
What are your hobbies other than writing and reading?
I like listening to music, watch movies that make me reminisce about the Universe and the point of our existence in our world, not silly films. I do not like comedies with jokes below the belt. I like comics with sharp humor. I also like singing and playing the piano, badminton, and walking in the forest or on the streets far from the cars to avoid civilization. And of course, READING.
What are your hidden talents?
I can sing and play the piano; I can write poems and can cook tasty salads. I treat my guests with delicious scrambled eggs and Madras chicken; I'm not kidding!)
Who is your first celebrity crush?
Leonardo Di Caprio. When I saw Leo in Titanic, I fell madly in love with him. LMAO. I so wanted to marry him; I even ask my mom to allow me to go to the USA. It was a crazy time for my teenage years, for sure. Ha-ha...
What is the most embarrassing situation that you have ever been through?
When I lost my ticket meant to get a present from Santa Claus during the New Year's holiday... I misplaced that ticket. I cried so much; I was afraid that my mom would scold me. Everyone looked at me, and no one asked me what happened. It was so upsetting. People didn't care... My mom waited for me outside the building where that holiday was taking place, and when she asked me about my present, I told her what transpired... She wasn't angry at me, but only scolded me a little to be more careful next time and do not listen to people who kept asking where I kept my ticket. She wiped my tears and said, "do not worry," and she bought me a present.
One craziest thing you have ever done?
I painted my hair for the school's discotheque with the gel pens. I poured the content of these pens out on the plate and then, using a brush, started to put that paint on my hair. After some time, my hair had a bright pink and bright orange color. Everyone took notice of me on that discotheque because I look so different. LMAO.
There are many authors who just started their journey and many readers who want to write but have no courage to do so. Please give them a tip and a word of encouragement.
I can tell them just... NEVER GIVE UP. If you do, you won't achieve any goals as some authors had or still have. Yes, becoming a famous author is not so easy, you have to spend money on a huge promotion and sound editing, that's not all... But do not forget: word of mouth always worked and still works in the literature's world. So your fans and readers are your best friends; you should cherish them and thank them all the time for their comments. They will create the destiny of your book, not anyone else. So make them happy and glad to read your stories, and believe in yourself. Read more English or your own language's literature; remember to analyze how bestseller authors write their books. Improve your grammar, writing style, be the creator of your own brand.
Last but not the least, have you ever dreamt of writing your own comic?
Hmm, never. Maybe someday...
What do you feel about this interview?
I enjoyed it. The interview is fun and lovely. Thank you so much for taking the time to ask your questions. It warms my heart that people want to know more about me as an author.
Hope you had a great time answering our questions. We appreciate you for your beautiful works and also spending valuable time with us.
We wish you to write many more successful stories and be a bestselling author one day.
Thank you so much for your wishes. Let's see. Everything is in God's hands, but we also shouldn't sit and wait for something to happen while doing nothing. We should work on ourselves and grow as an author and a person. Do not be afraid to be the architect of your own fortunes! Yay!
