"Let's just say..." He returned to his regular goofy grin. "I know how to do a lot of things. Some being Sans-ational!"
"Sans! I thought you were being serious!"
"Heheh seriously though, but I can't tell you just yet, you'll learn eventually"
"Why not now?"
"Because. that would ruin it!" Sans looked down, his smile getting smaller and smaller.
"Sans? Come one, let's go to Grillby's!" You nudged him, snapping him out of his thoughts,

A week had past since you had came out of the ruins and now that you had saw almost everything, you had nothing to fear! Even monsters who would normally attack you stopped and let you pass freely. Your favourite place was waterfall as you visited Napstablook and Mettaton a lot, also because it was so peaceful. Although you knew where everything was, there were two places which you never went in. The first was a door in waterfall. You knew what was behind every corner however, you never opened this door and you had no intentions of doing it any time soon. You didn't know what was so strange about it but it repelled you and you knew for sure that you hated whatever was behind it. The second place was Hotland. The only reason you hadn't visited there yet was because of Sans. Whenever you asked about he would say something like 'That place? Oh it's far too hot to handle' or 'but here is way cooler' but never said why you couldn't go there. You didn't understand Sans sometimes. You always thought something was up with him, like he wasn't being himself with you and that he was hiding something from you. The worst part about this was that you thought about it often and it made you distrust Sans but you knew he was just trying to protect you. Whenever you asked him about the other humans, he would say that he didn't know about the other 6 but the last one 'had a bad time' but from asking around, a human hadn't fell down for years! It made you wonder what Sans knew sometimes, and you were determined to find out what!

It was a peaceful day in Snowdin and you and Sans were sat on the sofa, watching Mettaton's cooking show. You hated to admit it but you wished Papyrus could cook like MTT, maybe his spaghetti would at least be edible if he took some advice from the robot instead of this Undyne person who gives him lessons. You had completely zoned out when suddenly Papyrus burst through the door with what looked like a letter in his hand.
"SANS! LOOK! I HAVE SOME MAIL!"
"Cool bro. Who's it from?"
"IT SAYS UNDYNE" Sans took his eyes off of the Tv and looked at his brother. He seemed surprised.
"Undyne? What could she want?" You heard him mumble.
"What does it say?"
"TO PAPYRUS AND SANS,
I KNOW THERE IS A HUMAN IN THE UNDERGROUND, I HAVE SEEN THEM BUT THEY SOMEHOW ESCAPED. I ALMOST HAD 'EM TOO!
IF YOU SEE THE HUMAN, COULD YOU CAPTURE THEM AND BRING THEM STRAIGHT TO ME OR HOTLAND? THE ROYAL GUARD WILL TAKE IT FROM THERE.
THEY ARE WEARING F/OUTFIT AND HAVE H/L, H/C HAIR SO IF YOU SEE SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE THAT, TELL ME STRAIGHT AWAY. OK THANKS. -UNDYNE" Papyrus read out.
"We can't let Undyne find Y/n!" Sans said, almost immediately after. Papyrus nodded.
"WHY DON'T THEY BECOME FRIENDS! MAYBE SHE WON'T ATTACK IF THEY LIKE EACH OTHER"
"I don't think a murderous fish is going to like her enemy, Papyrus."
"SHE MIGHT IF WE ALL HANG OUT TOGETHER!"
"That could work... What do you... Think... Sans?" You turned to him to see him deep in thought.
"Sans? Sans!" You nudged him to get his attention, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"I think that might work... Papyrus, take Y/n to one of your cooking lessons or something and see what happens. I'll be outside in case anything happens"
"PERFECT IDEA BROTHER!"
"That could work but I've seen her fight! What if whilst we're walking back, she calls me over and impales me there and then?" Papyrus' smile faded and Sans' eyes went blank.
"I'll rese- stop her! I won't let her hurt you Y/n, I promise"
"YEAH! WE BOTH DO!"
"Alright then just don't kill anybody! If any of you died, I'd probably end up the same way!" You smiled then hugged the two. Sans blushed slightly at this but Papyrus just laughed.
"So when is your next cooking lesson?" Sans asked.
"IN TWENTY MINUTES"
You and Sans nodded.
"We have twenty minutes to do whatever we need to so go and do that now" Sans said. Papyrus nodded then went upstairs and you and the shorter skeleton returned to the couch, your sofa creases still the from where you haven't moved for hours.
"Is it possible to procrastinate with this?" You asked.
"Nope but trust me, if it was I would" Sans replied almost immediately.
"You know, I put the 'pro' in 'procrastination' as I'm literally the best at it" You said, smirking slightly.
"I bet I can beat you at it."
"Sans... Is that a challenge?"
"Mhmm" He gave you a smug smile.
"Try and procrastinate going to Undyne's. Whoever lasts the longest wins" You smirked.
"Challenge accepted"
You both knew this was a terrible idea as you probably would procrastinate far more than you need to but there was no way you would let Sans win.
"Procrastinating more like procrastinatking!" You heard Sans mumble. This made you laugh really hard for some strange reason. You didn't know why but you found it really funny! After you started to laugh, Sans joined you.
"That was your best one yet!" You smiled, still laughing slightly.

Twenty minutes past and the war had began.
"COME ON YOU TWO! WE NEED TO LEAVE AT ONCE!"
"Sorry Pap but I was just in the middle of making some coffee. Please let me drink it or I end up getting really tired!"
"I'M SURE UNDYNE WILL GET YOU SOME"
"What if she poisons it or something?"
"Oh I don't know atrout that, she isn't that extreme"
"SANS!"
"Whoops I already poured the water"
"FINE I GUESS WE CAN WAIT"
Whilst Papyrus wasn't looking, you gave Sans the most smug smile you had gave anyone. As the coffee was boiling hot, it look about 8 minutes to drink overall.
"Beat 8 minutes" you mouthed to him.

After a long battle, you two ended up procrastinating for 40 minutes somehow. Sans mainly stalled Papyrus with poorly timed puns and jokes but you actually did things in that time.
"OK WE ARE LEAVING! NO MORE WASTING TIME!" Papyrus practically dragged the two of you out of the house, on Sans' turn too!
"Told you I was the pro! Looks like the king has lost his throne!" You said to Sans along the way.
"I swear you cheated... No one can do that for 10 minutes!"
"Woah! Don't be.. Procrati-hating on my techniques!" You smirked.
"Oh my god!" Was Sans' reaction, along with a facepalm but soon followed by a grin that could mean one thing.
You were about to get dunked on!
"No, you're right! I shouldn't procrasti-hate on your ways! I guess it was up to procrasti-fate to decide. I knew Papyrus wouldn't procrasti-wait for us for too long because he would get mad because we'd be procrasti-late. Seriously, these cooking lessons are like a procrasti-date for Papyrus! He would procrasti-rate them ten outta ten if he could! Oh look, that's Undyne's procrasti-gate so I guess we're here" Sans finally ended the string of puns.
"Geeeeeeeeet dunked on!" He finished. "OH MY GOD SANS! STOP THIS THAT WAS AWFUL!"
"Oh my god... I guess I really can't out-pun you" you said, your cheeks hurting from smiling so much.
"You may not be the procrastinat-king or procrastinating but you definitely are the master of puns"
"Of course I am! Who else could tell that many puns in one go? But we should probably stop now. We don't want to mess this up.
"WE? YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE MAKING AWFUL PUNS"
"Y/n was too" Sans shrugged. You nodded.
"Well... Let's go" the three of you walked up to the fish-like house. Sans turned left and hid whilst you and Papyrus knocked on the door.
"Oh, Papyrus. You're late"
"YES BUT YOU SEE, I WANTED TO BRING A FRIEND WITH ME TODAY AND SOME THINGS GOT IN THE WAY, HER NAME IS Y/N" Papyrus said then gestured to you. Undyne gasped, a blue light forming in the shape of a spear in her hand.
"You're the human I have been searching for-"
"WAIT! MAYBE WE DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT THIS HUMAN! THEY ARE REALLY NICE"
"You mean... You knew where they were the whole time!"
"OF COURSE"
"And you didn't bring them to me and the Royal Guard?"
"YES..."
"Papyrus! You- ARG!" She slammed the door shut but after about a minute, opened the door again.
"Just come inside..." She said through her teeth. "Let's get this over with..."

((Hello! Happy New Year! This chapter is extra long since it's the fist one of the year and I really enjoyed writing it! One of my New Years Resolutions is to write more chapter and rewrite my other stories so expect a lot this year!

This is my favourite chapter so far and I'm pretty proud of my procrastinating puns. It was based off of a 'Shh Kanye Is Sleeping' post I saw and if you didn't know, I (ironically) love Kanye West! I even have mug that says 'I love you like Kanye loves Kanye' on it! But enough about Kanye, I want to know about you! On the discussions chapter, tell me what your New Years Resolutions are! I'd love to know!

Well, once again, I don't have anymore to say... Hmm... Oh! I'm curious about your Undertale Ocs so if you have any, I'd be happy for you to tell me about them on the Discussions Chapter! I might tell you about mine on there but I don't know, it's 5am at the moment and my decisions at this time aren't the best so I'm going to go now. That's all I have to say for today so until next chapter!
