Drew

"I don't think you should complain too much may" I said to the red faced girl.

"I have a right to I mean why don't we get to do anything fun here there's a whole village and we have to stay in this castle" she continued whining.

"It ain't too bad way better then your castle" I teased and she gave me annoyed look.

"Whatever drew" she sighed and stared out at the mountains.

"This island is so beautiful though and thriving, I'd love to see more then just this castle each year we come" She continued in awe.

I followed her gaze feeling the wind and the bright sun.

I had done some research on the boat here. The castle sat on a high mountain and overlooked a small village.

People lived all over the island ,although it was small, most lived in that village.

Also they mainly fished and raised goats on the mountains as income. Each kingdom shares a small percentage of funds here with trade.

"A girl can dream" she said before walking off. I watched as she walked away when slowly an idea was beginning in my mind.

...

"That's obscure no way" Paul rejected it immediately.

"Come on just a day no one would know anyways the girls should get out while they can they're all 16 in two years they'll be married off why don't they get out and enjoys there lives now!" I argued.

"He has a point there" Garry added.

Then Paul gave him a dirty look and got close to him. He whispered something making Garry's eyes go wide.

Garry grew quiet and ash stood up from his bed.

"Paul don't be such a downer let's do this for them" ash added. Paul seemed to give in and went along with it.

Though he seemed to secretly enjoy it.

We went to the girls room and knocked and misty opened the door.

"Oh hey guys what's up?" I like misty being so cool and not so formal. Most of the girls were like that unlike most princesses here.

"Hmm can we come in and talk in private" ash whispered looking around the hall.

The hall was filled with princesses and princes going around socializing and such. The only place for hanging out is the courtyard, balcony, hallways, and dining hall. For some unknown reason places like the library, lounge room, painting room, etc, were closed off.

Misty opened the door wider for us to go in.

We walked in and were amazed at their room. All light pink with satin curtains. 4 huge beds with curtains on them as well.

Our room was way smaller and had two bunk beds.

"Well we're all ears" misty said with the girls behind her.

"So we've heard of your guys is problem on being bored and we devised a plan to leave tonight and spend all tomorrow out and about on the island!" I explained.

Seeing mays eyes light up reassured I made the right choice.

"Oh really drew but how?" May questioned.

Escaping would be tough. The castle was guarded with knights.

"We know how most knight night routines work and the roof isn't one of them so we leave from yalls window as this is the top floor and we use the roof to get to the mountain and go around under to the village" I explained in detail.

"So dress appropriately" Paul added before walking out.

"Rest now we'll leave at midnight after the bell goes off" Garry said though his eyes mainly on leaf.

May

At 11:30 that night we got up and got dressed to leave.

We only found dresses though.

"I brought a couple of shorts" misty said.

"And I brought boots!" Leaf said pulling them out.

"No shirts here either" dawn said scratching her head.

"Guess we'll have to talk to the boys" I sighed.

...

"Just borrow our shirts" drew said not too much emotion. Though for me my heart was beating so fast.

"That's gross that's like touching skin!" I yelled at the thought.

He just shrugged and handed me his jacket.

"This will have to do just zip it" I blushed feeling kind of bad. What if I had offended him?

"You know how I meant it right?" I asked as I held his jacket.

"Boys have cooties right?" I giggled feeling reassured that I didn't hurt him.

"Cool I'll go get changed" I said running as best as I could in my dress. So glad I get to take this crap off.

When I got back to the room I began to change and realized his grey jacket smelt. Smelt of dog.

Giggling I checked it out to see little hairs too. He's a shedder.

I put on dark blue denim shorts, black ankle boots, and then drews grey jacket.

The girls then came in with their outfits. Misty had a light blue denim shorts and tucked in a white shirt. Along with white ankle boots. The shirt still looked oversized though so I'm pretty sure it was ash's.

Leaf wore silk green shorts with light green ruffles on the trim. She had an oversized orange shirt and knee high black boots. They weren't heels though just very long.

Finally dawn had blue silk shorts with a light blue trim. She had a purple jacket and yellow tee underneath. She had also yellow ankle boots.

We all choose boots to help us hike the mountain.

"All set?" I asked when the boys knocked on the door.

"Hurry it's past curfew and knights are making rounds in the hall!" I heard Paul yell-whisper.

Quickly dawn opened it and they all rushed in.

"Here we stole some food from the kitchen" Garry said handing leaf bags of sandwiches.

"I'm taking my satchel so I can carry them" misty offered and they accepted.

"Hey that satchel looks familiar" ash said and misty became flustered.

"You've probably seen me carry it around in Kanto anyways though we should get a move on" it was quite obvious she wanted to change the subject and I wonder why.

Dawn

"Wow look guys the sun is rising!" Leaf cheered pointing at the sky. We all turned and watched it poke out from the edge of the land.

"Wow it's gorgeous!" I said gleefully.

"Yes it is" said a voice I didn't ever think would ever agree with me. Turning my head I met Paul's eye who wasn't even facing the sun. I looked away flustered at his words.

He didn't mean me did he? Of course not he's made it very clear how he feels towards me.

I was just apart of his knights duties.

"Come on we should get a move on we are close to the village anyways" I said never meeting his gaze again.

Misty

"Guys I'm hungry can we take a break!" Ash whined. He grabbed onto his stomach before falling back and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh don't over exaggerate ash!" I said crossing my arms.

"Hehe ashy boy still a whiner eh" Garry teased him making ash glare at him.

They began to boy fight and instead of ticking me off it made me happy.

I could always see ash being homesick but now a part of his home was here.

"Alright let's take a lunch break then" Paul said and we all set up to begin eating.

"I can't wait to meet the villagers!" May gushed.

"I feel bad for them June you can be so annoying" drew teased her.

"Only to you!" She yelled with a stuffed mouth.

It escalated to where they were chasing each other dangerously close to the edge of the mountain.

Suddenly my fears came true and may slipped causing her to slip off.

Drew went down with her as well.

We all ran to the edge to see if they had made it only to see their bodies vanish!

No really we saw them vanish! When they reached a certain point their bodies just poofed and the cliff was still there!

"No way" dawn whispered.

"What!?" We all said in unison.

"I've read of this before, that's a witch barrier, they create barriers that appear like places so people don't think it's anything special the barrier manipulates the way their property looks but if you get close enough you go right through and see the real deal!" She explained.

"How do you know all that?" Paul asked.

"I'm not always bugging you I do other stuff to you know" dawn yelled crossing her arms.

"So your saying it's safe for us to go down too?" Leaf asked.

"Not 100% but that edge we're seeing isn't real" I looked down as dawn talked and decided to take the leap.

I am quite adventurous.

As I leapt down I could hear ash yelling my name worried. After reaching a certain point looking as if I was about to hit the ground the world around me changed.

I even felt the barrier, squishy. It actually saved my fall.

I landed on my legs and looked around. There was a black stone small house and in front of the porch I could see may and drew.

I heard steps and turned to see everyone else jumped in too.

"You guys look!" I said pointing at the house.

"Come here meet Val!" May called waving her hands.

Looking I could see a woman talking to them.

We all walked over and the woman was stunning. She had long blonde locks and a white satin dress. She also wore a golden leaf crown of thorns and huge green eyes.

"I see you've all found my hiding place you are princesses no?" She had an accent as well.

"Are you a witch!" Dawn just blurred out.

She laughed at that and shook her head.

"No but me sister is Im a halfling but uses holy magic instead ya know?" We all nodded.

I've heard of this magic. Not many people were for it though as it was new in all the kingdoms.

"Ima here practicing quite dangerous spells in private to do no harm on the people" she explained which made sense.

Most were afraid of this whole concept of magic.

"We're all princesses and these are our knights we just wanted to go on an adventure" May explained and she pondered.

"An adventure eh? Say you lads wouldn't mind helping a girl like me eh?" I titled my head and she giggled.

"You see I have a problem and would appreciate you lads helping me out say a quest?" She asked.

"Details?" Garry said.

"Well I had a miniature dragon and I was working on spells and I accidentally made him huge and he's now in a cavern, in the process he got a bunch of upgrades and can use magic like fire breathing as well" she explained.

"You want us to take down a fire breathing dragon!" May squeaked.

"Well yes you see if I were to tell any royalty I would be charged for using magic as this type is putting people in harms way but nobody has found the dragon but I'm afraid as each day goes on he learns more and more and will create unwanted havoc on the island" she said nervously.

"Then there's no ifs or buts we gotta do this it's in our knight code to protect the royalty and the people" Garry said with not much expression.

Leaf

I've never seen Garry behave this way. Scratch that I have. When the bandits stacked us.

Garry is behaving like a knight. He's being passionate and I'm not use to seeing him like that.

He's always, to me at least, been outgoing, goofball, and holds himself back.

Mainly I think he did it for daisy.

"Here then you all should be prepared" Val said walking in her stone home.

"Come on in i don't bite eh!" She snarled. I cringed at that but we all followed her in.

"Here laddys I gots amour a plenty! Also let me brew up some good ole potions!" She said quickly darting towards a huge brewing bowl.

"Here are some potions to help with any wounds and these purple ones shall grant you magic abilities just think really hard on an element and poof you'll do some damage!" She explained not very clearly.

Shouldn't we have trained for this!?

Everything was so new. I've never heard of dragons and magic up until now.

All I've ever known was so little...

"Here ya are mates also sirs your weapons could use some upgrades" she then handed the boys a new set or swords that didn't look so rusty.

Garry's had a golden handle, Paul's a crystal handle, ash a diamond handle, and Drew an amethyst handle.

"Girls you should carry these on hand" she handed us tiny rectangle glass containers.

In then was pink and blue dust.

"These should heal any wounds you may receive" she told us.

"Best of luck!" She cheered before pushing us out.

"Well the only cave I can think of is on the back mountains of the palace" Garry said with a hand under his chin.

"You know the geography here already?" Dawn asked.

He nodded, "as a knight when we travel it's just a given never know what can happen like now".

Dawn then elbowed Paul gently and gave him a sly look, "You should take some tips from the master night" she teased and he scoffed.

"Psh yeah some knight in a secret relatio-" he then cut himself up choking on nothing.

I knew what he was going to say though. How did he find out!?

I gave Garry a troubled look and he only sighed.

"Either way I know where we're going so let's go" Garry said before starting to walk.

I skipped faster to catch up to him and walked right along side him.

Anyone else in the world could hold their lovers hand while I could only do it in secret.

I starred at his wishing I could. I mean the girls knew but I doubt the guys would agree.

I mean there all knights who, for the most part, take their jobs as knights seriously.

Plus Garry is the master knight of johto he has a reputation to uphold. One I'm ruining.

"Hey don't you worry about a thing everything is fine" I heard Garry whisper.

I smiled at him happy that I didn't have to say anything. He could read me like a book.

Dawn

The dirt under us shook as we walked.

"This is too much!" May complained as she limped.

"Same here!" Leaf and misty said in unison. I looked at them and laughed.

"Hah! I feel great!" I said egotistically.

"How is that dawn we're only not tired because we've trained a lot as knights" Paul questioned me.

I began to panic inside. He was right though. The only way I've been able to sustain myself was though all the training.

"Guess I've picked up some things from watching you train" I lied terribly.
He was about to say something when Garry interrupted him.

"We're here" he said.

Looking straight ahead was a huge cave. Pitch black.

I gulped and got my potions out at the ready.

We walked slowly inside the boys ahead of us.

Garry had found a huge stick and lit it to help guide our way. Suddenly the cave grew hot.

In a flash it was burning like a volcano. I could see the dragons eyes. He knocked down Paul. In an instance my eyes shown the same furry as the dragon.

The other had spread out hitting him from the side. I though ran to Paul's side.

He was panting rapidly and I could see his forehead was bleeding as well.

"Here Paul" I poured the dust on his wound and his breathing went back to normal. Though he still couldn't get back up.

As I looked down at him I saw his crystal sword twinkling. Picking it up I could see my reflection. I knew what it was I needed to do.

An urge in me leapt. Heart beating way faster.

I drew the sword like Paul had taught me so many times before.

Closing my eyes I breathed in. Then breathe out my eyes opened.

I ran straight for his tail my body pointed leaning down for more speed. Hitting the tail beneath me softly with each step.

This was hard as the dragon kept moving but I ended up to his body. I held tightly to a scale as he suddenly tried to shake me off.

He roared and stood on two legs making me almost fall off. I hung onto a scale and could hear my friends yelling my name.

Looking down I could make out Paul standing straight up.

"Dawn!" He called out throwing a potion straight at me. I caught it with my right hand my charm bracelet making a noise to it as well.

I poured it on me feeling the effects of power.

Pulling it together I mustard all my strength climbing to his head and stabbing right through.

An in an instance his body turned to dust that floated into the sky. But I was still on his now vanishing head. As it disappeared I fell from above and there was nobody to catch me.

Paul

"That should do it now let's allow her to rest eh" Val said as she secured bandages to dawns head.

As I starred at dawn all bruised up I felt a strong pain come over me.

I failed her. Had I not been strong enough?

Memories of her cheering me on and being there for me flooded my mind. Once again she had been there for me and this time it could've cost her her life.

As a knight all im suppose to do is make sure the royals are safe. Had I ever done that for dawn?

...

Three hours passed when she awoke. I couldn't bare to look her in the eyes though.

Everyone else gathered around her mainly the girls hugging her and she kept repeating how fine she was.

Though the bruises on her arms suggested otherwise. It was then that I approached her.

"I'm so sorry Dawn" I whispered gently. She tilted her head and I continued looking away.

"Um who are you?" She questioned.

My heart stopped.

"What do you mean dawn he's your knight paul... your like in love with paul" leaf questioned but dawn gave her an even more confused look.

"Really I don't know who he is and in love? Psh Im suppose to marry Kenny" she argued.

"Oh dear" Val whispered and I turned to face her.

"What's that suppose to mean what's wrong with dawn!?" I yelled my heart starting to sink.

"The fall most of knocked her memory she seems to remember everything but you" she explained.

"No way how is that possible!? I've spent my whole life with dawn she would remember me somewhere!" I didn't want to believe my dawn could ever forget me.

Because in the end after all this time I finally do see it.

I am in love with dawn.

But I realized it too late.

"Calm down paul surely there must be a way to get her memories back right?" May asked Val as she held my arm in reassurance.

Val pondered but shrugged her shoulders.

"I do believe my sister could help with that as I've never heard of a holy magic to help in that sense" she explained.

"Great just great!" I said sarcastically.

"Paul don't lose hope she might have a shot let's get her to Val's sister as soon as we can!" Misty said.

They calmed me down and we prepared to leave. Val stopped us though.

"As a token of my gratitude here are celestial mirrors you can think of a person to talk to and their mirror shall notify them I have one as well so if you ever need anything give me a chime" she said handing us each a hand mirror.

Then dawn broke from the group standing in front of her.

"Your the lost warrior princess valkrye aren't you? The ancient scriptures themselves always said she had holy magic" Val smiled and nodded.

"What a clever girl I know it would be you to slay the dragon that is why the sword is crystal it's your stone I know it really it's yours" she said making dawn smile.

From then on I realized there was more of Dawn I didn't know.

Like how she read ancient scriptures or that she had the strength to slay a dragon!

"You can find my sister here" she then handed us a map with a purple X nearby the village.

Garry

"We'll have to go tomorrow" I repeated myself to our group just getting to the castle.

"The more time we assure there maybe be a higher chance we won't get dawns memory back!" Paul yelled back.

"They'll know soon enough that we've been gone all day besides we'll make it in time for lunch and we can leave tomorrow night so we can rest and sleep in a nice bed" I explained.

Paul sighed and let it go and dawn looked at everyone confused.

"I don't see what the big deal is I remember everything else in my life just not one person he's just a knight too" dawn said.

I could tell that hurt Paul. Dawn was saying things she would have never said. It's killing him to see her not know anything about him.

"Paul is it possible that you had more influence in the way she thinks now?" May asked.

Paul never answered though.

...

"Garry what are we going to do if dawn doesn't get her memory back?" Leaf asked.

We were in the garden at night while everyone else was resting.

She rested on my chest as I laid looking up at the full moon.

"We'll find a way I promise" lately all I could do was promise things for her.

"I've never had friends and I don't want to lose them" she whispered. I kissed the top of her head for reassurance.

She then crawled on top of me and I stared at her brown eyes my heart skipping beats.

"Garry thank you I've never met anyone who's done so much for me when I could hardly give you anything back in return" I could see tears build in her eyes.

I cupped her cheek "leaf your love is all I could ever ask for" I said.

She shook her head "Garry what if this is all for nothing, how could I live without you? When I met you that's when I really started living and if this is forbidden they'll separate us" she continued on.

I only pulled her in for a hug and softly comforted her.

"Darling id never let that happen you mean everything to me" she pulled back at those words and just looked into my eyes.

She didn't need to say smut Noh more. Leaf leaned in and I followed and we shared a passionate kiss.

Leaf proceded to wrap her hands around my neck not wanting me to pull away.

Not like I wanted to.

Soon enough we had to go to our own rooms and all I could dream about was being able to hold her without it having to be a secret.

Ash

"So why'd you wake me up in the middle of the night?" I asked misty as she bit her lip.

"Follow me" she grabbed my hand and lead me out. We made it out the castle to the coast next to the sea.

"There's something I've been hiding ash and I think I'm ready to share it" she began.

I gave her a confused look and then she began to move closer to the water.

She was in a silk yellow nightgown and yellow fuzzy slippers so I didn't get why she would go in.

Out of nowhere she turned and ran into the ocean.

"Misty!" I yelled running for her. The waves pulled me back though.

Then I heard her call out my name. My head shot towards it to see her face just barely.

I swam to her only to start seeing her more clearly. Her orange locks grew longer?

I recognized the pearls wrapped around her hair though.

"Marina?" I questioned.

She shook her head.

"Ash it's me misty... I.... Im marina I've had this secret my whole life but with you I feel like I can be myself so I want to share everything with you" she explained.

I nodded and swam closer. She looked away in the distance.

"This doesn't change your opinion of me does it?" She asked.

I shook my head "of course not! Misty that's awesome!" Her eyes sort of lit up at that.

"Ash I'll never meet anyone like you will I?" She said.

I shook my head "I'm one of a kind!" I said pointing a finger at myself.

Misty took my hand and helped me swim towards the deep end.

"It ate at me to lie but I really love the ocean it's always felt like home" she explained.

I nodded and felt my heart beat faster.

"Thank you for sharing it with me" I said. She looked at me with a look I could never read.

Until now. Only because I was giving her the same look.

She interrupted the moment though and splashed me with her tail. I shook my head getting off the water as she left.

"Oh it's in on!" I yelled before we had a water fight. In the end we both stopped and the last drops fell down around us.

We just stared at each other when she began to get closer. I did too.

Back in Kanto all the girls made fun of me. Called me weak, stupid, misty though has always said I make her feel at home.

And she's right, when I'm with her I feel at home.

"Ash" she whispered right before our lips locked. Her lips were soft against mine.

This was my first kiss and love.

I was breaking the knights code of honor but in the moment I could care less.

Her hands were on my shoulders and I had wrapped mine behind her back. Her orange lochs grew so long.

Hair so soft and everything was sweet.

We finally ended the kiss for a breath and I could feel the awkwardness. We still held each other though.

Misty then rested her head on my chest.

"Ash don't ever leave me your the only person in this world that makes me feel like me even if your a knight that feeling is the same" she whispered still laying her head on my chest.

"I love you too much to do that" I laughed. She looked up at me holding my hand with dazzling cerulean eyes.

"You mean that ash?" She wanted to hear it again.

"Of course misty" she smiled at that and leaned up giving me another peck.

"Not to kill the moment but it's starting to get cold" I said with a shiver.

Misty giggled and helped me swim back to the surface. She came up with me laying on the sand her fin drying.

For once I got a good look at it. Shiny blue with a yellow star and fading to pink.

She turned away not meeting my gaze "don't stare at it" she blushed.

"How could I not? I love every part of you" she looked up at me and she was about to say something else when a glow of white blinded me.

When it was over she was standing up with her legs and she was in her nightgown again.

"I don't know how I got this power ive just grown up with it" i nodded at her explanation.

"Come on let's head back" I said beginning to walk forward towards the castle.

Misty skipped to me catching up and took my hand in hers.

She leaned her head against my arm. Before I could even speak she interrupted me.

"Don't you dare say anything Ash Ketchum let the moment be" I laughed at that.

Mermaid, princess, she's still the same misty to me.

Drew

"So why'd you drag me out here for?" May asked. I had woken her up to help sneak into the locked library.

"I know how much you love your books so I was thinking how this library properly has a lot more books for you to love" I smiled.

She hugged me at that "thank you drew! I can't wait to read them all!" She then let go leaving me blush.

May didn't even seem to notice though. She was too busy admiring all the books.

I decided to see how much she wouldn't notice. I transformed into a wolf and sneaked around watching her.

It was a good 5 minutes before she realized I wasn't there.

"Drew?" She called out as she walked the many aisles of the library. I crept behind her and howled at her causing her to jump back.

"Drew don't scare me like that!" She yelled from the far as she had fell back.

I sat like a good boy and laughed transforming back. When I did I still was sitting like a dog but soon got up.

"Oh June" I said walking towards her. I held out a hand for her to take.

"Come on I'll stop" she stared at my hand for a little while before taking it and I pulled her up.

"Gee thanks now I need to find more books about revolutions!" Once again she could never take that off her mind.

I don't blame her after all her kingdom was falling apart.

All I wanted was to take her mind off it. Every hardship to just be gone.

She sat on a desk and lit a candle. May was reading and transfixed on her book.

"Oh drew hand me a quill and paper I have a lot of ideas!" She called out.

I looked around to accomplish this mini quest and found them in a drawer. In this drawer was also something else. A brown leather book with strange markings.

In the center was an ancient drawing in gold. A circle cut in half. On the left side a man and the right a bear sort of forged together.

The book reminded me of well me. I opened it only to see more strange writings. I didn't recognize the language either.

"Hey may do you know what this says?" I asked handing her the requested items and book.

She tilted her head and looked through it.

"No but most languages have been translated find another book in the language section" she said.

I headed over there looking through surprisingly a lot of books. I then found one with matching writing.

I handed her the book and she began to study through it.

"The.... blood..... carried....in the creature.. allow their bodies to.... morph... villagers killed them and accused the witches of creating such beings....... they are..... rare... to find" she paused a lot to look up words and such.

"This explains how you can turn into a wolf there were many who could turn into animals but it seems most were killed off as this was responsible by witches" I nodded at that.

"Well at least I know more about myself" I pocketed the tiny book as well as the language book.

I'll research more on my own time.

"So there is history to your power maybe there's more people like you afraid to show the world" may said.

I never thought that anyone else could have my powers. Maybe I'm not so alone.

I sat back in a daze of how I could meet others like me.

As I thought about all this I could hear may writing away.

"What ideas have you made?" I asked.

She showed me the page and I skimmed through it.

"It's all for him, my brother max I just want to save him from the cruel fate our kingdom has succumb to I know I can do it" may explained.

"That's why I can't imagine you being so alone with nobody I really do care about you drew and I want you to have a big role in the kingdom when we do save it" she looked at me with fierce determination.

I couldn't deny it much longer.

"This years snow will be really heavy" I heard him say.

"Yeah and looks like the queen won't help out all this time around better start preparing to fend for ourselves" the man next to him said.

What will I do?

The shelter was overcrowding and I was wasting space. There was children with no homes. I gave it up for them.

But I had no money for food.

I transformed into a wolf and crept inside the shop. I took a piece of firewood and a small charcoal.

These wouldn't last much time though.

Running through the woods I headed for my shelter. A small tiny cave covered in snow.

I became a human to start the fire. I sat on a small piece of a burnt flag. Riots were frequent now and it included burning our flags.

After I had a small fire going I turned back into a wolf for more heat. My fur could act as a blanket.

This was good for a while until my fire was put out.

I was hungry, cold, and alone.

Then I met may.

She gave me everything. Showered me with it. Maybe she's just taken pity on me. Maybe I'm foolish to believe in these feelings.

Wouldn't anyone fall for the person who saved them?

Plus she's a princess. Not meant to be with a knight. I don't even really want to be a knight. I just want to have a place to be.

May isn't that?

I bit my lip but these thoughts were too mind consuming.

"May" I began. She looked up at me with a furrowed brow.

"Hm?" My heart raced.

"I like you a lot" it just came out.

She blushed immediately at that. I then got on my knees and held her hands on my chest.

"Do you feel my heart? Your the only one who has had room in your heart for me and I... I could never repay that but instead give you more problems because me liking you could never cease yet here I am being selfish and asking you to love me back because May I love everything in your being your so kind, brave, and beautiful, it pains me to know that you'll be married by another who could never see that" I poured out.

May stared at me for a long time speechless. She was taking everything in pieces.

"We're here" I said looking at the small witch hut.

"This has to work" leaf said to reassure me.

Before I knew it dawn was laying on floor with red markings painted on the ground.

The woman began to speak fastly in a language I couldn't understand. The markings began to glow and a green light enveloped dawn.

Dawns body rose from the ground and her eyes opened wide all white.

The woman was shouting more nosense and then dawns body slowly descended to the floor.

I ran to her putting her head to rest on my legs.

"Dawn are you okay?" I asked. She slowly opened her eyes looking at me.

"Do you remember your past with this man?" The woman asked.

My heart sped up waiting for her answer.

"No I don't" those words shred my last bit of hope.

I began to cry my tears landing on dawns cheeks.

"Dawn your so important to me though I need you I'm sorry I didn't see it then after all those years causing you so much pain but I love you so so much but it's too late now" suddenly at those words dawn began to glow again.

This time the whole room was filled with this green glow.

"This time I know you mean it" she said from below.

She raised her hand cupping my cheek.

I began to cry more and she sat up hugging me rubbing my back.

"It's okay I'm here and now nothing can tear us apart" she whispered.

I pulled back from her embrace to look into her eyes. Knights code screw it. Love was stronger.

I leaned in kissing her deeply. Giving her all her dreams worth of love. Making up for every year she waited.

We pulled apart but we leaned our foreheads together.

"This almost feels too good to be true don't let this be a dream" she said letting her head fall into my shoulder.

"I promise it isn't love" I whispered.

"Hey we're still here you know" drew said and they all began to laugh.

I gave them all death glares and stood up with dawn still hugging me.

"Don't ruins this moment now" I said as they continued to laugh.

"Ahem dawn I also have a mirror you can contact me through your powers I saw them when I looked through your brain earlier in search of your memories you have great strength in witchcraft and with that crystal sword my sister gave you I know you will be far greater in power" the woman said.

Dawn nodded as she looked up from our hug.

"Well so how will we be together in our kingdoms?" Garry asked as we walked back to the castle.

We all held our dear ones no longer a secret to each other.

Deep inside though we knew that was hopeless.
