A few years ago, Jet was born. He was all black- His parents were astonished. Being black was an unnatural dysfunction in silkwings, and extremely uncommon. He was shunned in his family and his tribe.

At the age of a toddler, Jet's father left for the Silk- sky war and never came back. His mother sold him to an orphanage so she could support herself. The orphanage was filled with wrong or weak dragonets that parents left behind. Jet, filled with anger, inspired the dragonets of the orphanage to be stronger. Apparently, most of them had severe mental issues. The orphanage owner was dead by morning.

The orphans grew up together, stealing and begging until they became a well-known group. They moved up the food chain with age and recruited more dragons, and more gang alliances, right up until they owned the whole crime system. The leader of it all, Jet of the purebred silkwings, rose to the top of the food chain. At this point, he figured he could have anything he wanted. But that isn't how love works.

Jet set his eyes on a beautiful Silk-Night hybrid and talented assassin- Sugilite. How the story went exactly, only Knifeholder knows, but in the end, Sugilite left Jet. Of course, Jet, having fallen for her, was not about to have that. Now Jet wants her back, and is willing to do anything to get her.
