My brother was asking my mom for her new goggles so he could use them at the pool. My mom said no, since they're only for us to share as we take better care of our shit. My brother lost every pair of goggles he's had, so my mom didn't want to give him hers.

He kept asking her, she kept saying no. So I'm in my room, hearing my mom go, "No no no no no no no," over and over again, while my brother goes, "Please please please please please." By now, I've come out of my room, pretty annoyed and mad since he's still begging.

My brother attempts to insult my mother by saying something along the lines of, "You're having a hard time saying the word no."

So I said, "You're having a hard time taking no for an answer."
