Karen was on her way to her locker,as she opened it, she immediately hot with a paper ball. Slightly annoyed, she bent to pick it while opening her locker. She unfolded it to read what was written

Karen:(reads) be mindful of your head, be careful with your heart. What does that even-(screams in horror)

In her locker was a jack on the box that held a knife, apparently it had shot out as she opened her locker, if she hadn't bent, she might've been stabbed in the chest. People had gathered round to see what was happening, in the commotion, Steven managed to squeeze through to have a closer look

Steven:(notices a paper in the box) what's this?(shows Karen)

Karen:it must be another note. (Opens it)(reads) if you're reading this then you either survived the attack, or someone else is reading this. If it is you Karen, be ready, because what's coming your way is nothing you'll be prepared for. (Faints in shock)

Steven:(catches her) okay you have got to stop fainting. Good thing Taylor isn't here.

Taylor:(from the crowd) STEVEN!

Steven:spoke too soon(carries Karen away)

PE class

Karen had just finished PE, she was the last to shower so when she came to change, everyone else was gone. As she changed, she heard someone hit a locker, she turned to see the same person from before, she knew because she recognised the hair and clothes

Karen:hey, you're the one who saved me last week, I never got to-

The girl took off

Karen: hey!(follows her) wait up! Why are you akward running-

Before she could finish he statement, she heard a tud, she turned, only to that a bowling ball had fallen in the spot where she stood.

Karen: what the hell?! (Leaves quickly for class)

Homeroom

Karen enters quickly and goes straight to Shawn.

Karen: I don't know what's happening, but someone's tried to kill me, twice, just today! I want to know if there's been any progress, because whoever's behind all this obviously doesn't like Sebastian or me.

Shawn :{wish I could tell you that you had it backwards, but I can't risk putting in any more danger. It's bad enough that the culprit wants to kill you even though you know nothing, who knows what she'll do if she finds out you know something vital} it's not something you would understand, all you need to know is that we are doing our best to gather as much Intel as possible.

Karen: okay, but make it quick, I'm not sure how much more of this madness I can take.

Steven: maybe you should just head home, you'll feel better tomorrow

Karen: are you sure? I'm not used to skipping school.

Imogen: well you won't be able to not skip school if you're dead.

Samantha: Imogen!

Imogen: what? She knows the person wants her dead, it's not like I'm jinxing it.

Karen: I'll head home(leaves class)

As she heads out of school, she is suddenly drawn back by someone,she quickly holds the person's hand and turns. It was the same girl from before.

Karen: why do keep running away? Thanks by the way for saving me.

Perle: watch where you go, danger lurking around.(points to the steps)

Karen looks to see pins neatly arranged ready to be stepped upon, they looked long and sharp enough to pierce through bone

Karen: like I said, thanks so much for saving me.

Perle: leave now, follow no alley, walk with people, safer that way, tell no one of me(leaves quickly)

Karen: I should get home before anything else tries to kill me (leaves)

After school

Samuel: shouldn't we check on Karen, you know, make sure the person didn't follow her out of school and shoot her with a knife?

Shawn:how you were able to make that serious and sickly humourous is beyond me. But you're right. Hyeldie!(tosses her the keys) you're driving.

Nicholas: why does Hyeldie always drive? I can drive for her.

Shawn: Hyeldie is the fastest and most lasting driver amongst us. Just in case we ever need to get anywhere far fast, she's our girl, and right now we don't have much time, the trial's this Saturday, meaning we only have four more days to expose Perle.

Hyeldie: how sure are we that Perle is the culprit?

Samantha: whether or not she's the killer, she definitely has something to do with this case, and we have to figure out what that is. Now let's go, stop stressing too much, you're driving remember?

Hyeldie: right.

Karen's house

When they arrived Karen's mother said she was asleep and that they could go to her room to see her.

Karen's room

Nicholas:(goes to tap her)

Samuel: I wouldn't do that if I were you, of course if I were I'd be stupid.

Nicholas: hey! And what's wrong with tapping her? It's not like she's gonna attack me with a frying pan (taps her)

Unfortunately his words decided to bite him in the ass, because as soon as tapped Karen, she launched herself at him, whacking him with a frying pan.

Keith:(holds her down) calm down its just us!

Karen: (opens eyes) oh, sorry guys, sorry Nicholas.

Nicholas: damn, you knocked two of my teeth out!

Shawn: I'll grow then back for you when we leave.

Karen: why are you guys here anyway?

Steven: just came to check on you and make sure that you're still alive.

Karen: was that really in doubt?

Imogen: at this point, pretty much

An hour later

KND finally left after being assured that she was fine. But Shawn looked troubled as he and Nicholas arrived t his home, and Nicholas noticed.

Nicholas:hey man what's wrong?

Shawn: we have just four more days till the trial and the only evidence we have is the unclear footage, not even all the assaults can help because there's no proof that it has any connection to Mabel. I haven't even been able to hack that infuriating box! Bloody hell! This is the most frustrating case we've had so far.

Nicholas: I can see that. You only say bloody hell when you're really mad or frustrated. Have you asked your dad for help? He's a hacker too isn't he?

Shawn:my dad is a software engineer, I doubt he can help.

Nicholas: no harm in asking, you've done everything else you could think of, right now, even a piece of advice would be helpful.

Shawn: I guess you're right, now sit down so I can regenerate your teeth.

Nicholas: is this gonna hurt?

Shawn: it's not gonna a bit(straps him to the chair)

Nicholas: okay good.

Shawn:(readies his drill) it's gonna hurt like hell.

Nicholas: what?!

Three hours later

After a lot of screams, swearing and bloody messes, Nicholas's teeth were good as new, but he couldn't eat anything solid for the next 12 hours though. After he left Shawn went to see his father.

Shawn:(knocks on the study) dad? I need your help.

Jayden:(opens the door) about time,I was wondering when you'd ask me about that box. Did you bring it?

Shawn: I did(gives him) I've tried every French and German code I know but nothing worked.

Jayden: let's see( hacks it) there you go

Shawn: (shocked) but how? I didn't even know you could hack!

Jayden: did you really think you got your brain from your mother?

Tiffany:(peeks her head in) excuse me? No dinner for you!(leaves angrily)

Shawn: maybe you shouldn't have said that so loud.

Jayden: I'll talk to her, anyway, not everything is what it seems to be you know. Though the code looked very similar to French one, it's actually Latin. You shouldn't always jump to conclusions, if there's even a Sliver of doubt, keep looking. Now let's see what's in it(opens the box) holy shit!

Tiffany: Jayden!

Jayden: sorry dear!

Shawn: what's inside?

Jayden: a knife(shows him)

Shawn:(puts on gloves and carries it to scan) damn it! No prints, the person used gloves.

Tiffany:(enters) if I hear I one more curse and I swear-(sees the knife) (faints)

Jayden:(picks her up) try scanning for what kind of glove was used.

Shawn:(scans) designer Jardin product, french.

Jayden: I'll take your mother to our room, you better put that knife away though (leaves the room)

Shawn:(sits down to think) {now that I think about it, back at the cafeteria when the scissors nearly sliced Karen's brain, the person who saved her looked a lot like Perle.

And even since Karen's encounter with the snake, Hyeldie's been trying to defend Perle, is it possible that Perle is merely another innocent mule? After all, my dad said that not all is what it seems, it possible that Perle may know the person, but is afraid to reveal in order to save her own skin, so instead she monitors Karen and tries to help anyway she can.

If that's so, how did she know about the scissors, if she was tailing Karen she wouldn't have been able to see the scissors being planted. Which means she probably tails the person, sees what she's up to while avoiding being caught, and makes sure to be near Karen in order to prevent her from being hurt. It actually makes more sense than anything else we've thought of so far.

Who knew taking advice from a scatterbrain like Nicholas would be helpful, I should probably hide this before my mom wakes up and goes into hysterics, hopefully my dad can convince it was all just a dream, cause I am really hungry}( carries the box and leaves)
