FIVE
Yoongi sighed as his alarm clock beeped annoyingly at him. He frowned, attempting to hit the snooze button and missed, instead slapping the spot next to his clock he tried again, and got the other side.
After a few more attempts, he managed to hit the snooze button and quietened the clock, but by now he was awake. He sat up, rubbing his shoulder as he blinked a couple of times. It took him a few seconds to realise it was a school day, and this made him groan.
Yoongi yawned widely before stumbling out of bed, the blankets wrapping around his legs and causing him to almost come crashing to the floor. Luckily, his coordination was somehow working, even if the rest of his brain and body wasn't.
"I hate Tuesdays..." Yoongi muttered before closing his eyes and debating whether or not he really wanted to get up off the floor.
-
"Hoseok!" Yoongi yelled out, grabbing Hoseok's shoulder and spinning him around.
"Yoongi!" Hoseok yelled back.
"I need Jimin's room number." Yoongi said, and Hoseok quickly spat out the numbers, not even having to think about it. Yoongi grinned before patting Hoseok's shoulder, which hurt slightly from being spun around. "Thanks. See ya, buddy."
Hoseok watched Yoongi run off before slowly smiling, hugging his books to his chest.
"He called me 'buddy'..."
-
"Jimin." Yoongi said in between knocks. "Jimin." Yoongi knocked again. "Jimin."
"Are you trying to be like that guy from the tv show?" Some boy asked as he walked past. Yoongi looked over his shoulder at him and nodded, smiling. He then went to knock again, but the door slowly opened slightly.
It opened a crack and Yoongi saw Jimin look out at him from within the dark room.
"What do you want?" He asked quietly, and Yoongi stepped closer to the door.
"Taehyung said you weren't in class? Are you alright?" He asked, looking at Jimin through the crack in the door. Only part of Jimin's face was illuminated by the light in the hallway, and all that Yoongi could see was a tired boy looking back out at him.
"Why do you care? What are you even doing here? Just leave me alone." Jimin attempted to close the door but Yoongi stuck his foot in the door.
"Are you alright?" Yoongi asked again, making Jimin sigh.
"No." Jimin said, looking down at the ground. Yoongi had thought he'd finally reached the boy somehow, but then Jimin continued. "Because there's someone outside my room and he won't leave me alone."
"I'm just trying to help-" The door swung open, revealing an angry looking Jimin.
"I was sick, okay? I woke up with a headache and didn't want to go to class. " Jimin snapped, glaring at Yoongi. "Are you happy now?"
"Yeah, sorry... I hope you get better soon." Yoongi removed his foot from the doorway and Jimin slammed it in his face. Yoongi sighed, knowing he got nowhere near his goal, and went back to his room.
Inside Jimin's room, Jimin slowly collapsed to the ground against the door, resting his face in his hands. Quiet sobs escaped his lips as tears wet his hands and slipped through his fingers. Guilt filled him for snapping at Yoongi, but he couldn't help it. He didn't want anyone helping him or attempting to get close.
Because if someone did get close, he may accidentally find himself falling for them like last time, and then they'd just leave him once they realised how many problems he had.
There was a quiet knocking at Jimin's door, and Jimin quickly tried to calm down before responding.
"What?" He snapped, thinking it was Yoongi again.
"It's Seokjin, you weren't at dinner so I brought you some food." Seokjin said, and instantly Jimin wanted to cry again.
"I'm not hungry." Jimin said through the door, hoping Seokjin would leave. But then Seokjin just opened the door slightly, until he accidentally hit Jimin's body.
"Jimin?" He said through the crack of the door.
"Yeah, hyung?" Jimin responded, staring at the floor as the door pressed against him.
"You're in the road, move." Seokjin said and Jimin shuffled forward slightly, so Seokjin could open the door enough to step through. The smell of cooked food filled the room and made Jimin feel sick. He hadn't eaten all day, and he didn't really want to start now.
Seokjin sat down in front of Jimin after he closed the door, placing the Tupperware container of food in the middle of them. He then took the lid off and pulled out some chopsticks.
"Jimin." Seokjin said, picking up a piece of meat and holding it up to Jimin.
"I'm not h-" Jimin was cut off by Seokjin shoving the food inside his mouth.
"You're too thin, Jimin. I'm not letting you skip a meal." Tears began to fall unwontedly from Jimin's eyes again, making Seokjin's eyes widen.
"You don't even know me..." Jimin said through the mouthful of food he was being forced to eat. Tears were already streaming down his face, and he cursed his emotionality.
"You gave me your food, and that makes you a friend in my eyes." Seokjin said, reaching out and wiping some of the tears away. "And I don't ignore my friends when they need help, whether they know it or not."
-
Jimin vomited up the good he'd been made to eat as soon as Seokjin left, not wanting to risk putting on weight by eating. He felt bad, as he emptied his stomach, but he had to do it. He couldn't put on weight, he was fat enough as it was.
Once he couldn't vomit up any more food, Jimin brushed his teeth and hopped into bed. He hugged his pillow to his chest, sniffing as he closed his eyes.
A few minutes later, he was asleep.
