Caroline's POV-

"I feel much better." I say as I stand up with a smile.

To my surprise it's Klaus who bursts out laughing and I can't help but giggle back turning to face him I see nothing but joy on his face, no judgment no disgust just happiness that I'm okay and healed. I kiss the laughter off his lips happy to be back with him, and he quickly turns the kiss heated until we're a second away from ripping the clothes off each other uncaring of the fact my hands are still caked in blood.

"This is another level of disturbing." Rebekah's voice interrupts and I finally turn around to look at all of them, keeping a tight grip on Klaus's hand.

The smile dies on my lips and I see Bonnie's face, she looks a second away from throwing up her face pale and clammy and she's clutching Kol's hand like it's a lifeline, it's like a knife to my chest. Kol himself looks proud a tiny grin on his face, while both Rebekah and Elijah just look bored obviously they've witnessed a lot of torture in their lifetime.

"Thank you for coming for me, you didn't have to come all the way to Canada." I say with a smile avoiding looking anywhere near Bonnie.

"You're family" Kol says angry I'd question it "even if you are in desperate need of a shower." He grins back.

"I second that all this dried blood is incredibly itchy." I wiggle impatiently.

"Come on love let's find a hotel." Klaus kisses my dirty forehead.

"You didn't stop once did you." I accuse with a glare.

"You were being tortured love I didn't think booking into a hotel was a priority." He glares right back.

"We ran pretty much the whole way, although there was a little problem with a ferry but we sorted that out." Elijah smiles.

"I cant stand this itching anymore, I promise I'll give you all hugs when I'm clean." I say grabbing the t-shirt and pulling it off giving it to Klaus.

"What on earth are you doing?!" Rebekah asks as I hand It back to an overly amused Klaus.

I ignore her and focus until my limbs start popping and my back bows, I distantly hear Elijah's muttered oath and Bonnie's harsh intake of breath but I'm no longer in a position to reply. Seconds later and I'm in my wolf skin and feeling a whole lot more comfortable in my fur.

"When did she learn to do that?" Kol asks impressed coming over to stroke my head, I give him the wolf version of a hug brushing my head against his legs in affection making him smile widely.

"Your wolf is stunning Caroline." Elijah says awed and I pad over to him gently.

"She says you can pet her if you want to brother." Klaus voices for me.

Elijah runs a soft hand over my head rubbing my ears and making me growl in happiness, he jumps back in shock and before I can even say anything Klaus reassures him it was a growl of pleasure not irritation.

Everyone but Bonnie has a turn petting me and I even have a mock play fight with Kol who seems to be enjoying my wolf immensely, all the originals seem to be rather shocked but no less awed by the fact I can transform at will, Rebekah even kneels so that I can wolf kiss her licking her cheek happily.

I growl at Klaus and duck into a play bow making him grin and growl back still in human form, the others look on in shock as I whine and nudge his legs insistently.

"Brother we'll meet you in the forest behind the Ritz take care of these bodies will you, Caroline is being rather insistent that I play with her." He laughs when I growl and snap at his arm releasing it as soon as my teeth lock around it, his siblings locked in shock around us as his laughter echoes in the clearing.

"Of course brother, I'll bring clothes for the both of you." Elijah recovers the quickest grinning as I feel the air around Klaus start to change, he throws Elijah his jacket.

"Make sure it's something soft she's still new to changing." He growls out as his body bows and snaps reshaping.

The next minute his wolf is next to mine and he runs his nose over me softly sniffing and rubbing his fur over mine to reassure his wolf I'm okay, when he's done he gives a happy yip and I attack.

We bite and claw at each other as we roll around in the dirt, it must look vicious to those watching but to us it's just play. Klaus gives a low growl that I know means follow him and we charge away chasing each other, when I overtake Klaus makes sure to heard me in the right direction and when he zooms past me I make sure to nip his tail making him chuff in amusement.

Sooner than I like I can scent Elijah again and I head towards him making sure to push Klaus out of the way as I charge at him, I rub against his legs when I find him in greeting and he pets me to say hello.

"Your clothes are in here." He says putting a bag down in front of him and turning around.

I wait for Klaus giving him one last nuzzle before shifting back, it barely stings but Klaus is still quicker and nearly dressed by the time I'm back on two feet. I grab the underwear he hands me slipping it on quickly followed by a simple dress and some sandals.

"You can turn around now Elijah and thank you, this material is all incredibly soft." I thank gratefully even as I flick some dried blood off my skin.

"You're most welcome, although I'm afraid you're going to have to go through the back entrance your appearance might shock the receptionist." He gives a small smile joking.

"Thank you brother, where are the others?" Klaus asks as he grabs his wallet and some car keys putting them in his pocket and shrugging on his jacket.

"Checking into their rooms, we had a minor scuffle with Bonnie refusing to let us pay for a room but Kol soothed her by telling her you were paying for them all, which meant Caroline was paying and she said she could borrow the money off Caroline." He says mystified.

I laugh as Klaus and Elijah look at each other in confusion and we begin the walk up to the hotel.

"We'll stay here tonight and head home tomorrow love." Klaus states as the grand hotel enters our field of vision.

"Sounds like a plan, I'm full and I'm healed and I want to be back home, I'm supposed to be moving in right now. We need to get boxes and everything." I grin excited at the prospect.

"We can all help you move the boxes." Elijah offers.

"That would be amazing, do you think everyone is tired?" I ask suddenly "maybe they could all come to our room for dinner, we can order a shed ton of room service and you can catch me up on everything I've missed, it won't be a late one it'd just be nice to thank everyone properly."

"You have nothing to thank us for Caroline, but I'm sure they'd love to anyway I'll tell everyone to meet you at your room at 8 will that be sufficient?" He asks happily.

"If that's okay with you?" I ask Klaus as we finally arrive at the back entrance.

"Whatever you want love." He says softly as Elijah leads us through corridors and up stairs until we finally arrive at our room.

We bid each other goodbye as Klaus lets us in, the room in huge and plush with a big kitchen and an even bigger seating area, it has three huge sofa's and they overlook the most beautiful view of the city.

"This is beautiful." I say to Klaus with a smile.

"You need a shower love, come on." He says leading me to the huge bathroom.

"Shower with me?" I ask as I kick off my sandals.

He follows my example and soon enough both of us are standing in the huge shower cubicle with all the shower heads turned on to boiling hot, I stand under the spray letting the water wash me clean.

"I never thanked you." I say as I shampoo my hair for the second time.

"You have nothing to thank me for, it's what mates do sweetheart." he says softly.

"I meant thank you for standing beside me through all the ugliness after the rescue." I grin as I rinse.

"There was nowhere else for me to be sweetheart, and there is no part of yourself that you should ever feel the need to hide from me. If you hadn't done it I would of." He grins kissing me.

"Bonnie hates me now." I loose my smile as I'm reminded of her face.

Klaus grabs my chin forcing me to meet his gaze "You did what you had to do sweetheart, and you have nothing absolutely nothing to be ashamed off she doesn't hate you, she just didn't expect it." his says sternly leaving me no choice but to believe him.

"Really?" I whisper.

"Really love, and I love the dark side to you it's just as beautiful as the light side." He whispers back smiling.

I kiss him thanking him with my actions rather than my words and all too soon the kiss spirals out of control and we slam into the door all over each other. We come together and everything is right with the world, I tilt my head to expose my mark and Klaus latches on hungrily as I bite into his.

Finishing on a growl I unlatch and Klaus takes a few more deep pulls before he does the same, reluctant to break the other connection between us I cling to him and he gets the message sinking down so I can remain straddling him and resting on his chest.

"Feel better?" I ask panting.

"Much." And I can feel his utter contentment through the bond.

Eventually we have to move and reluctantly finish our shower, it's only when I'm scrubbed clean that I realise we have no clean clothes to put on. Klaus makes a call and less than ten minutes later two new sets are delivered, the clothes are clean and comfortable two types of woollen dress with boots and socks for me plus a warm coat for when we venture outside.

Klaus gets his usual clothing, dark jeans and a Henley with boots and a combat jacket, they also include a couple of pairs of clean underwear for both of us and a couple of extra shirts and socks for Klaus.

Deciding to save the lovely soft dress for tomorrow I quickly don underwear before stealing a pair of Klaus's spare boxers to use as shorts, and then I 'attack' Klaus and steal the shirt he's wearing so that it's warm and covered in his scent when I put it on; he growls in supposed annoyance but he was far too eager to take it off to be anywhere near the vicinity of annoyed. He dons one of the spare shirts faux glaring as I slip on an overly large pair of socks to complete the look.

'You look adorable love' he grins as he puts his own socks on, leaning back to relax in just his shirt and jeans.

'I know I should probably wear normal clothes but I want to feel comfortable it's been a long day, and it's only family' I shrug moving to cuddle into his side as we wait for the others.

'No-one will criticize you for wanting to be comfortable.' He cuddles me close into his chest and a pulse of overwhelming relief that I'm safe in his arms fizzes down the bond to me.

'Have we got any blood bags?' I take the scent of him into my lungs, the scent soothing me like nothing else in the world could.

'I don't think so sweetheart but I can message Elijah, or I can go and get you some if you're hungry' He soothes his hand rubbing up and down my back as we stare out at the skyline.

'I'm not hungry but you didn't take enough earlier, I'm betting you didn't stop to feed on the journey you'll need a top up which means I need to top up.' I send a kiss with my words, making sure it's coated in the love I feel for the wild man next to me.

'I promised to feed from you alone love, it's an honour and a privilege I intend to keep.' His mental voice is soft with emotion and I can tell the fact that I've thought about his hunger pleases him.

'I'll pop out Nik, I won't be long I don't want to inconvenience any of the others any further.' I think standing and heading to the bedroom to get dressed.

'The last time you popped out you were captured and tortured sweetheart, we'll go together, not that the others would mind.' He rises glaring at me daring me to question him.

'I understand you my protective wolf' I kiss his jaw softly but not forever just while 'I adjust and learn how better to use my new powers right?'

'Of course love, but for now' He gives me a look and I can feel his wolf riding him urging him to keep me close 'It's a request I have no problem giving in to.'
