Caroline's POV-

I come out of sleep content, I'm wrapped in my very own hybrid blanket I feel a peaceful buzzing at the edge of my mind I reach out to touch it and automatically hear Klaus's voice in my head.

'Good morning sweetheart.' His voice is tinged with amusement even inside my head.

'Morning.' I think back snuggling into him even more unwilling to open my eyes just yet "What's so funny?" I can't help but ask.

"Have you seen the room sweetheart?" His voice is husky from sleep yet no less amused for it.

I give him a suspicious glare as I sit up drawing the sheet to me as I take in the utterly demolished room around me, both lamps are broken shattered and on the floor the bathroom door is completely off it's hinges laying flat on the floor a dent in the middle, most of the walls have at least one dent in them as well as the wardrobe not even the bed got off unscathed. The posts the only thing that remain the headboard embedded in the wall and the legs fractured so the mattress lays on the floor.

"Oh my gosh we wrecked it!" I can't help but laugh as I turn to a gloriously naked Klaus the sheets the only thing covering his gorgeously naked body.

"I've never had so much fun destroying a room love." His gaze gets heated when he registers my gaze on him.

And just like that we are back to clawing at each other, our lips battling furiously as I pin him to the bed and sink down into him that feeling of rightness overwhelming as our bodies join. I ride him into a slow oblivion his hands bruising my hips, and our fangs sinking into each other as we finally go over the edge groaning against each other our mental bond pulsing with the love and adoration that we feel.

It's a long time later that we finally rein control over ourselves and manage to get out of the room, after a quick visit back to the old sweet shop Klaus is checking out and making sure that they have his credit card details no doubt to send him a huge bill for the room we had destroyed not even the glass shower screen survived us in the end.

I'm ogling him from behind and Klaus is growling inside my head obviously having a hard time controlling himself as well when a flustered Ketzy runs in panting and holding her knee's in relief when she spots me.

Klaus comes over frowning at her in distaste as we wait for her to get her breath.

"I was contacted in a dream.... To get pregnant.... You have to feed from the marks... from anywhere else is safe." She gets out still panting.

We both pale in realisation as we realise that practically all night and morning we'd had sex and fed from the marks. Every. Single. Time.

It was instinct, and we'd had no reason to deny it I look at Klaus in shock does she mean what I think she means I say reaching out for Klaus with my mind.

"Witch be more specific." He grates out still looking a shade too pale and gripping my hand a tad too tightly.

"My ancestors they like Caroline, they told me to find her and tell her that if you feed from your mate marks while your being intimate it'll make her fertile, I ran to try and catch you before you left I realised too late I only had your number and you weren't answering it." She frowns at him in distaste.

'Klaus!' I think to him panicked.

'They said fertile that's not a guarantee we'll figure this out together.' He thinks back soothing, but I can tell that he's panicking as well.

"How would we know if I was pregnant?" I manage to get the words out in shock.

"It's a relatively simple spell, would you like me to perform it now?" She asks anxiously.

"That's okay it's too soon to tell anyway, thank you so much for rushing to tell us." I thank on behalf of me and a strangely silent Klaus.

"Of course, I wanted you to have all the information and please call me if you have any questions, you should be able to tell within days of conception as you're a vampire." She grins grabbing my phone and programming her number into it.

"I appreciate the warning witch I assume I'll be getting an invoice." Klaus finally speaks his grip on my hand loosening slightly.

"This one is on me courtesy of your rather lovely mate Mikaelson.'' She grins back to him before taking her leave.

I look to Klaus and for once I'm lost for words, it seems he is as well as we all but silently load the bags into the car and climb in.

"Klaus what does this mean?" I say quietly when we're on the road.

"You want children sweetheart I can feel it." He says softly gripping my hand over the middle console.

"I do but we are brand new I kind of wanted time to just enjoy being us, although I guess we'll have centuries to enjoy being us, but all you feel about children is panic." I mumble thinking it through with a wince.

"I can't help that I feel like that, but It's not because I don't want children I haven't even entertained the idea for over a thousand years love I'd long since forgotten the desire." he shifts uncomfortably, and I feel a burst of love and pride shoot into him from me, that's he's not panicking.

"But whatever happens we'll figure it out together right?" I ask feeling silly about the hesitation I have.

"Of course sweetheart." He growls the answer annoyed I've even asked it, I soothe him by leaning over to run my nose over his neck in apology.

"But one day though..." I trail off careful to monitor his reaction.

"I'd be honoured to have children with you." He finishes slightly sheepishly as if it's an uncomfortable thing for him to express, as he sends warm and tender feelings down the bond.

I sigh in relief that we talked everything out, I feel anxious about the thought of being pregnant but only in the best way possible even if it is too soon. I can't wait to tell Kol and Bonnie, and even Elijah and Rebecca I can't wait to share our happiness with them.

"I'm assuming you want Bonnie to perform the spell sweetheart?" Klaus asks interrupting my musings.

"I was thinking of asking her to do it in a couple of days, if she doesn't know it I'll give her Kezy's number I'd just prefer the news to come from someone I trust, is that okay?" I ask softly conscious of the fact Klaus doesn't really know Bonnie very well.

"Bonnie and you have a bond that makes her particularly loyal to you, therefore I'm sure she'll practice the necessary discretion we need for this spell; if for nothing else than to secure your safety." He says rationally.

"I mean that's one way of looking at it, oh by the way in the confusion I might have forgotten that I agreed we'd go to dinner at my mums tonight." I cringe as I remember.

"I'm sure it'll be delightful, have you told her you're moving in yet?" He snickers at my obvious turmoil.

"I'm planning on telling her tonight, although I did tell Kol and Bonnie, Kol was happy about the number of sleepover's in our future." I grin at Klaus's frown.

"Have I told you I have the perfect Christmas present for him, I know it's your birthday first but Christmas is soon after and I saw it and knew he had to have it." I say checking the delivery status on my phone and seeing I still have a few days until it's here.

"We don't really do Christmas love, we're never all together and even when we are it just never comes up, although I'm sure Kol will love the gift." He squeezes my hand in comfort.

"We have to do Christmas especially this year, it'll be our first Christmas together and I'm sure Kol will love it so will the others." I grin getting excited thinking about it.

"If you insist love." He says to appease me although I can tell he's secretly happy that I'm already thinking about our future.

"Don't think I missed you ignoring me talking about your birthday either, I have plans for you Mister Mikaelson." I smirk when he frowns.

"I don't want you to go to any effort for me love." His frown just gets more pronounced when I wave him off secretly planning a night of mischief.

"You'll have to wait and see, how long until we're home?" I ask getting a little impatient and feeling full of energy that has nowhere to go.

"Maybe 45 minutes love, not too long." He says giving me what starts out as a look filled with amusement and turns into red hot desire when his eyes meet mine.

After a quick detour that has us discovering just how much room the backseats of Klaus's car has we're back on the road and after much cajoling pestering and then outright pleading Klaus has finally let me drive, although his white knuckle grip on the door is getting slightly irritating.

"I'm going the same speed you were." I growl out exasperated and slightly amused that I've managed to unsettle him.

"Yes, but I slow down for corners love, and I also tend to stop for Red lights." he answers back pure male snark in his tone.

"I ran one red light one!" I shout back as we finally turn into mystic falls.

"Who knew you were such a racer driver." he grins as I stick my tongue out petulantly.

"There is nothing wrong with my driving you insufferable hybrid." I growl back as we finally pull up at my future home.

Klaus springs from the car using his super hybrid speed yanking the keys from me with a glare as he flashes back to grab our bags, we are still teasing each other when Kol flashes out a bright grin on his face.

"Sister!" He greets exuberantly grabbing me up in a tight hug making me laugh, especially when I feel Klaus's amusement in my mind solidifying out bond helping to rid him of his over possessiveness.

"I didn't think you'd be home, it's been oddly quiet without you. I bought you some sweets!" I all but shout back grinning as he releases me.

"Ohh what sweets did you get, gimme gimme!" He rubs his hands in anticipation advancing on the bags Klaus is gripping.

"Let's move this inside shall we, rather than have you attack me over sweets on the driveway brother." Klaus interruptus his voice dripping with sarcasm as he ushers us inside.

"Brother you're back, did you get the information you required." Elijah greets us both pleasantly as enter.

"I did we have things to discuss brother." He says seriously, and I can tell Elijah can see the panic leaking from his eyes even if it is only minute.

"Nothing to discuss with me Nik." Kol frowns in mock offense as I put my bag on the table and start digging for the sweets I bought back.

"Brothers for a thousand years and you don't even greet me on my return Kol." Klaus teases breaking the stare him, and Elijah have going.

"Why would I when your mate Is so much more lovely." He says cheekily as I hand him what in retrospect looks like a huge bag of sweets.

"Did you buy out the shop?" Kol asks excited as he starts digging through excited and groaning in pleasure when he chews one in delight.

"I just got you all the ones I thought you'd like, I love those old fashioned sweet shops, I got something for you as well Elijah." I say rifling to find the bag of truffles I'd selected for Elijah.

I hand him the bag and he looks at it in shock "For what purpose Caroline?" He asks confused.

"They are truffles I picked out all the flavours I thought you'd like and got them to throw in a few of each, I noticed that you had a particular fondness for chocolate when we had hot chocolate..." I start rambling but Klaus cuts me off smoothly.

"A gift brother" He says softly "To share the experience of a new place visited with you."

"i...well...Thank you." He cradles the bag to his chest seemingly dumbstruck.
