    Heroes,were never meant to survive.

That's why Lance's mom never liked the Garrison,that's why people are afraid to make a difference,that's why others stand by,it's because heroes never survive.

Salty tears run down Lance's face,"I lied about the bonding moment." He sobbed,"I remember it all," he choked on his tears,"I remember,Keith." Lance's tears was a never ending waterfall,he couldn't stop crying,"I remember the way you held me in your arms,I remember how warm you felt,I remember how soft and loving it felt!" Lance curled into ball,and his word were muffled,"I remember,Keith." Lance cries,and cries,until he cried himself asleep on the floor,against the wall.

Lance's eyes open,to a wide scene. Waves crash on the sandy shore. The sun shines warmly on his skin. The air had a salty scent. Lance feels like he was at home again,then he hears his voice,"Lance!" Lance turns around seeing a guy,but not just a guy,it was Keith,"Lance,the ocean is so beautiful!" Keith smiles at him,"What?" Lance feels like he's in another timeline,"Lance,you took me to the ocean,don't you remember?" Keith's hands cradled Lance's face.

Everything was so bright and pretty,but the prettiest one here was Keith. His soft hair,his stupid violet eyes,his cute smile,his pale skin,everything was so perfect about him. Lance felt a warm spot in his chest,something burning,but it felt good.

His eyes open up again,still feeling that warm feeling in his chest. He gets up from his position,sitting up right wasn't the best idea. Dried tears stained his face,and his mouth felt dry. Lance felt weak.

Lance looks at the healing pod. Keith is still in there,"Good morning." Lance said,putting his forehead against the glass,"Keith,please come back." Lance clenched his hands into fists,and hot tears streamed down his face again,"God damn it." Lance cursed himself,wiping the tears away.

Just when Lance was about to walk away,he heard the healing pod open,"Keith?" Lance looked behind him,"Keith!" Lance rushed to him,and caught him in his arms,"Huh? Lance wha-mph!" Lance kissed Keith.

Lance felt the same warm feeling again,he felt it in his chest,and his lips. Lance didn't want this to end,but he had to pull away for air,"I can tell you missed me." Keith laughed,"Of course I did!" Lance yelled,"can I get something to eat?" Keith asked,"O-of course,sorry." Lance put Keith's arm over his shoulder,"I love you,Keith." Lance said,blushing a shade of pink,"I love you too,Lance." Keith snuggled into Lance shoulder.

Sometimes the heroes don't survive,but sometimes they do,and they have a surprise waiting for them,at least in Keith's case.
