Misty sat on her couch in the Cerulean Gym, eating chips, lonely as ever. Psyduck randomly walked in and plopped down beside her. "Hey Psyduck..." She said, pretty bored, and lonesome. "At least I have some company...My sisters are no help...just exploring the world." She said, crunching a Dorito. Psyduck patted her back, to make her feel better.

Psyduck, even though he was pretty clueless, knew why she was sad. Her long time crush left to go to a different region. They parted ways on a fork in the road, and she could've confessed, but...her fear took a hold of her. She sighed, tired of watching Riverdale, and turned her TV off. Misty patted her Psyduck on the head. "I miss him..." She teared up. Psyduck ran to get a tissue but tripped and fell. Misty giggled a little and wiped her tears.

She heard a knock on the door. "Come in, Gary." She picked up Psyduck into her arms and went to the kitchen to make something for Gary. Suddenly, she was blinded by something. It smelled like Ash and was shaped like a hat. She smiled. "Ash!" She yelled. Misty took the hat off her head and hugged him tightly. "Hey Mist!" He said and hugged her back even tighter.

"Pikachupi!" Pikachu said, Jumping into her arms. Psyduck slipped out of Misty's arms to go see Ash. "Hey Pikachu," Misty said. "How have you been?" She pet him. "Hey Psyduck, You been helping Misty?" He said, bending down to Psyduck's size and petting him. Psyduck just rubbed his head like usual. Ash chuckled and got up to normal height. 

"U-Um Misty...There's something that I'd like to give you..." Ash said, blushing a little. Misty looked up from petting Pikachu. "What is it Ash?" She asked. He pulled something shiny out of his pocket and handed it to Misty. It was a Diamond In-Crusted Necklace! It had a silver chain, and had aquamarine diamonds in it.

Misty's eyes sparkled. "Ash..." She said. "I-It's beautiful! I-I don't know what to say...I-I'm at a complete loss for words!"

Ash smiled from ear to ear. "I know one thing that I could say..." Misty was blinded again by his hat. Misty was pretty confused until she felt something kiss her head. "I love you." He said. Misty blushed like crazy. After all these years....finally the moment she was waiting for.

"Oh Ash!" She said, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him on the lips. "I love you too..." Misty put her head on his chest. Pikachu clapped and Psyduck had no Idea what was going on.

Misty chuckled. She would always remember this, and she would always remember the first time she met Ash.
