"You abandoned that hat like a lot of things..." Misty thought, while her toes where dipped into the pool water, her pokemon swimming around in the pool too. She was staring at the league expo hat, repeating the line in her head over and over again.

"Will I ever see you again?" Misty flashbacked. "You will, I swear!"  Misty recalled what Ash said in the flashback. "At least he kept that promise." She muttered. Her Seadra came up and tried to comfort her. 'Oh Seadraa." She said. "Thanks, that helps. I'll get in for a while I guess." Misty said as she pulled her Shirt and Gym Shorts off, revealing a blue striped bikini top and bottom.

She jumped into the water. Misty, Starmie, Staryu, Seadra, and Gyarados all swam around. Gyarados lifted her up onto the little horns on his head, trying to cheer Misty up. She giggled. 'Thanks Gyarados." Misty said. Gyarados put his head on the concrete, where she sat before her Seadra cheered her up.

She jumped off Gyarados's head and petted it before it went back into the water. She regained sadness again, while she looked at the hat. She picked it up and put it on her head. 'Just like how he used to wear it." She said. "Yeah, Wow you pull that off better than I do Misty." A familiar voice echoed through the empty gym.

She turned around and saw a familiar raven-haired boy standing there, With a honey-blonde haired girl sat her head on Ash's shoulder. Misty was filled with happiness, but it quickly drained like the pool the other day when she saw that girl sitting her head on Ash's shoulder.

"Oh hey Ash, nice to see you again, u-um I have to go.' Misty said, holding back tears while running up to her room. 'M-Misty Wait! Serena!" Ash yelled. 'Serena What the hell!"

'I love you Ash, You don't like Misty do you?" Serena said, while grabbing his hands. "Um...I have to go comfort Misty." He said. Serena started bawling, but Ash left her behind.

Misty flopped herself on her bed and started crying. 'Why would I EVER think Ash would like me! That Blonde-Haired girl seems better for him!" She said. Ash was eavsdropping on what she said and walked in and closed the door.

'Misty, Why would you think that, I'm perfect for you! I love you!" Ash covered his mouth at what he said. 'What?" Misty said. Ash sat on her bed and wiped her tears. Ash uncovered his mouth ''Misty I love you..."

Misty blushed. Her wish finally came true. The boy that she fished out of that lake one day, liked her! Misty grabbed Ash's hat off of her own head and put it on Ash's head. Ash chuckled and took it off his head and used it to hide their faces.

Misty wrapped her arms around Ash, Ash wrapped his arms around her waist. And they kissed.
