namjoon found jimin sitting outside his house the next morning.

"jimin, what are you doing here and this early?"

jimin smiled brightly. his smile was nothing compared to the dark gloomy skies. "i wanted to walk with you this morning so that we can get to know each other."

namjoon began to walk while jimin followed him. "i actually have a question. i didn't actually think about it until last night."

"what is it?" jimin asked, curious to know.

"you asked for a kiss-"

"say no more." jimin immediately puckered up and put his hands on namjoon's shoulders while standing on his tip toes to reach his face.

before the kiss could happen, namjoon quickly put his hand over jimin's mouth to stop him from coming anywhere near his lips.

"that's not what i meant. i wasn't asking for a kiss and you didn't let me finish," said namjoon.

jimin removed his hands off namjoon and stood at his normal height. he walked sulking next to namjoon. "finish what you were going to say."

"so taehyung told me that yoongi would turn into a cat when they kissed-well except those two times where they got some magic dust or something and wished for yoongi to remain human while they kissed."

jimin's eyes widened. "they did what?"

"anyways," said namjoon ignoring jimin. "i was wondering if we kiss, wouldn't you turn into a cat?"

jimin quickly got in front of namjoon and stopped him from walking. he wrapped his arms around the other's neck while standing on his tiptoes again and smirking.

namjoon raised an eyebrow, confused. he felt nervous again as jimin's face was really close to his. "jimin, what are you doing?"

the smirked remained on jimin's face as he spoke. "you were wondering if i would turn into a cat if we kissed, but we won't know the answer to that if we don't try."

namjoon pushed jimin away, but careful to not push him too hard before they began walking once again. "i don't want to know anymore."

jimin pouted. "fine."

lightning striked across the sky while thunder rumbled in the distance.

"i should get to work, you too, jimin. there's going to be a thunderstorm," said namjoon as he looked up at the sky and saw the dark clouds.

"are you worried about me?" jimin teased as his pout was replaced with a smirk once again.

namjoon frowned. "yeah, i am. no one should be out in a thunderstorm."

"oh?" was all jimin was able to say. he was expecting namjoon to say something else like, "jimin, get to work" or "jimin, i'm going to be late."

"i'll come by the animal shelter in the afternoon if the storm is gone by then. i need to buy some food for rapmon and since i'm friends with taehyung, i'll be getting a discount," said namjoon. "i'll see you jimin."

jimin watched as namjoon made a turn. his figure kept getting smaller and smaller until it was out sight. then, jimin finished walking the rest of the way to the animal shelter.

jimin found taehyung and yoongi flirting with each while jungkook watched fondly the moment he stepped in the animal shelter.

he was glad to have finally told the truth to his friends and let them be together even though he felt like a third wheel at times.

"namjoon is coming later," he said as he went behind the counter.

"in this storm?" taehyung asked worriedly.

"if the storm passes. he said he would buy some food for his dog here and since you two are friends, he's expecting a discount."

"can i give him a discount?"

"of course, it's namjoon."

"speaking of namjoon, how did it go with him yesterday?" taehyung asked as he wiggled with eyebrows.

yoongi smiled at his boyfriend's reaction before wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and rested his chin on the taller's shoulder. "i'd like to know that as well."

"i do too!" jungkook added.

"well, to begin with, i ran after him and called him a liar and told that it was really four o'clock. then he ran away from me."

"wow, you did scare him away," taehyung said with a chuckle.

"he's just shy," said jimin as he smiled thinking about namjoon.

"what happened after that?" yoongi asked.

"i tried running after him, but that only made him run faster and away from me, so i turned into a cat and tricked him." jimin smirked as he thought about what namjoon had said about him. "he said i was cute."

"he was talking about your cat form, right?" jungkook asked.

jimin nodded. "after i tricked him, we walked together because i refused to leave him alone. i asked him on a date, but he refused, so i asked for a kiss, but he also refused."

"you're really bold," taehyung laughed.

"namjoon said i was confident."

"you are...a lot," added taehyung.

"anyways, we just talked about other stuff before we got to his house and since i found out where he lived, i waited for him this morning, so we could walk together." jimin finished summarizing his story with a smile.

"what was namjoon's reaction when he saw you waiting for him this morning?" asked yoongi.

"well, he was surprised but didn't seem to be bothered. that was when he mentioned he might come later today. i hope he does."

jungkook placed his chin in his palm as he rested his arm on the counter. he sighed dreamingly. "i remember when i would hope for hoseok to come visit me while i worked with you guys. and on days that he would, i would be so happy."

"if namjoon comes later, i know who will surely be happy," said taehyung as he watched jimin clean around.

"i remember when i would get so jealous of you coming home after hanging out with namjoon," said yoongi while tightening his embrace around his boyfriend.

taehyung leaned into yoongi's touch and closed his eyes as he smiled. "i remember the first time i got home from hanging out with him. you kissed me."

"i can kiss you again." yoongi offered.

taehyung opened his eyes again and turned around to face his boyfriend. "kiss me then."

and they kissed all while jungkook sighed happily, glad to see the couple expressing their love for one another and not holding themselves back anymore.

jimin, on the other hand, was busy trying to clean around the animal shelter and hope that the storm would pass, so that namjoon could come.
