jimin was laying beside namjoon on their shared bed later that night. he was laying under the blankets, his back facing the door when he heard namjoon come in and settling himself in bed before turning away from jimin.

they were currently sweating once again because they had forgotten to install the air conditioning in the room earlier in the day. everyone was busy having fun until namjoon unexpectedly kissed jimin and now neither of them could stop thinking about it.

they hadn't told their friends about the kiss either. everyone was having fun, the trip was supposed to be fun, but namjoon and jimin were the only ones not having so much fun anymore.

although jimin was afraid of his feelings for namjoon to grow into love, he couldn't help, but imagine what it would feel for namjoon to kiss him again or for him to kiss namjoon.

sighing, he sat up in his bed and kicked the blankets off of him, not being able to tolerate the heat. then, without even bothering to check if namjoon was asleep, sparkly dust began to surround him in the darkness, slightly illuminating the room and causing namjoon- who wasn't asleep- to quietly lift his head up to see jimin now in his cat form.

he watched as the cat hopped off the bed and walked over to rapmon who was lying on the floor at the end of the bed and cuddled close to the dog.

a small smile spread across namjoon's face until he remembered that he was still mad at himself for kissing jimin so he immediately frowned as his head laid back on the pillow once again.

while jimin slept peacefully in his cat form because he preferred sleeping that way instead of his human form and no longer sweating, namjoon was awake, not being able to fall asleep, his thoughts keeping him awake.

or rather it was the kiss that was keeping him awake.

namjoon seriously didn't know what came over him. one moment he was talking with jimin and then the next he kissed him.

sighing and rubbing his eyes, namjoon turned to his other side where he forced himself to go to sleep and eventually sleep overtook him, but he didn't get to sleep for long.

namjoon slept for about 3 hours before waking up the next day, finding jimin gone while rapmon was sitting on the ground right beside the bed with his tongue sticking out as he waited for his owner to get out of bed.

tiredly, namjoon got out of bed and got ready before meeting everyone else in the kitchen about twenty minutes later. namjoon walked past jimin in the kitchen, both of them avoiding each other's gazes as namjoon headed to rapmon's food bowl to pour him some food.

the encounter didn't go unnoticed by taehyung, but he didn't say anything and instead called out to namjoon.

"hey namjoon, didn't get much sleep last night?"

namjoon shook his head no as he joined the group of friends at the large table where he had no choice but to sit at the only seat available that was beside jimin.

"no, i couldn't sleep," namjoon admitted.

"why is that?" taehyung asked while jimin took a small peek at namjoon, waiting for his answer.

"the heat," namjoon answered as he remembered refusing to kick the blanket off him no matter how hot it was. he had some fear that something would reach out from under the bed and would grab his feet and drag him away into who knows where.

"sorry about that. i forgot to install the air conditioner yesterday, but luckily tonight is our last night, so we got to make the best of it today. tomorrow we leave after having breakfast," taehyung announced as he turned to the rest of the table to let them know as well.

"will there be cheeseballs for breakfast tomorrow?" jungkook asked.

"i'm pretty sure cheeseballs are not breakfast," hoseok explained to his boyfriend.

"you can eat cheeseballs on the way back home," answered taehyung before turning to jimin who had been oddly quiet that morning. it made taehyung become suspicious the moment namjoon walked in the kitchen and neither of them said anything to each other and still haven't. "jimin, how's the breakfast?"

"it's good," he replied while avoiding turning to his left where namjoon was sitting at, but it was hard to do so when he had no choice to turn to his left to look at taehyung as he replied.

taehyung nodded before turning back to the rest of the table. "are there any ideas for what we should do today?"

"can we go swimming again today?" jungkook spoke up excitedly.

"i don't want to swim," yoongi complained before wrapping his arms around taehyung. "i want to spend the day with my boyfriend."

hoseok just shrugged and went along with anything jungkook said while namjoon and jimin remained quiet.

an idea popped into taehyung's mind as he mentally smirked. "how about we play a game?"

"what kind of game?" asked jungkook.

"does it involve cuddling with you?" yoongi asked as he buried his head in taehyung's shoulder.

taehyung softly smiled at his boyfriend's soft gesture before he proceeded to explain the game. "since we're all couples here, why don't we play a couples game where we do couple stuff."

"we're not-" both jimin and namjoon spoke up at the same time, but stopped upon realizing. they turned to look at each other for the first time that morning and taehyung couldn't be happier with the progress the two had just made with whatever was going on between them.

namjoon and jimin looked away after a few seconds of them staring into each other's eyes and taking a subtle glance at each other's lips.

"let's play!" jungkook cheered while hoseok smiled fondly at his boyfriend and once again went along with him. hoseok was whipped for jungkook and he wasn't going to deny it.

"i bet i can win best boyfriend at cuddling," yoongi answered as he raised his head off taehyung's shoulder.

taehyung smiled before nodding and agreeing with his boyfriend. "since everyone wants to play, why don't we get started now and end it off with a little bonfire tonight," said taehyung after not hearing any protests from namjoon and jimin.

namjoon just wanted to disappear at that moment as he knew he would have to be doing couple stuff with jimin.

couples kiss and namjoon was scared of kissing jimin again while jimin was still afraid of falling for namjoon even more, afraid to hurt him like he hurt seokjin.
