jimin's hands were securely wrapped around namjoon's neck as namjoon's head was tilted, allowing him to kiss jimin deeper.

after a few moments of them kissing, they slowly broke away. they rested their foreheads against each other as they stared into the other's eyes.

"i love you jimin," namjoon confessed.

jimin smiled as he placed a quick peck on namjoon's lips. "i know, i heard your confession."

"you did?" namjoon asked as he felt his cheeks warming up.

"it's okay namjoon," said jimin as he noticed the color of namjoon's cheeks. "you know i love you, too."

they connected their lips once more, namjoon smiling in the kiss. jimin couldn't help, but smile as well, their kiss being shortly interrupted.

"why are you smiling?" asked jimin as he broke away.

"i'm just happy," answered namjoon. "what about you, why are you smiling?"

"i'm happy too, but do you know what would make me happier?" asked jimin, a small glint in his eyes as he stared into namjoon's eyes.

"what?"

"if you asked me to be your boyfriend," jimin answered confidently.

namjoon's smiled wider, his die-hard dimples becoming prominent. "park jimin, would you like to be my boyfriend?"

"why yes, kim namjoon, i would like to be your boyfriend," said jimin before attacking namjoon's lips in another kiss.

the two of them couldn't seem to get enough of each other's kisses. it wasn't until namjoon finally broke away after a very long kiss to catch his breath.

"we should stop," he said.

jimin pouted. "why? we're boyfriends."

"our lips are red and swollen," said namjoon as he ran his thumb over jimin's bottom lip. "and we should sleep too. it's late."

"can i sleep with you?" asked jimin excitedly.

"of course jimin," namjoon said as he led his boyfriend to his bedroom, their hands intertwined.

they climbed into bed, too tired to change out of their clothes. laying beside each other, jimin turned to namjoon. "can we cuddle?"

namjoon didn't say anything, instead, he wrapped an arm around jimin's torso and pulled him close. "you know, i really wanted to cuddle you ever since that first night on the trip," namjoon confessed.

"why didn't you?" asked jimin as his hands rested against namjoon's chest.

"it was very hot in our room and our body heat would have made us feel hotter."

jimin nodded understandingly. "yeah, that is true, but at least now we can cuddle," he said as he cuddled closer to namjoon.

it was silent for a few moments until Jimin heard a soft snore come from namjoon. he raised his head to look at his boyfriend and found him sleeping peacefully.

sitting up, jimin placed a kiss on namjoon's forehead. "goodnight, namjoon," he said before laying back down. jimin closed his eyes and let sleep take over him.

"so, what did you and namjoon talk about?" asked taehyung the next morning while at work.

"isn't it obvious?" said yoongi as he came up from behind taehyung to wrap his arms around his waist, his head resting on taehyung's shoulder as yoongi stood on his tiptoes to be able to reach him.

"oh i know," said taehyung, his hands going to yoongi's that were wrapped around his waist. "i just want jimin go say it."

"say what?" jungkook asked confused while hoseok smiled fondly at his boyfriend.

hoseok wasn't usually at the animal shelter, he only visited because of jungkook, but after jimin's accident, hoseok wanted to make sure that jimin was feeling fine.

jimin's cheeks turned slightly pink as now everyone's attention was focused on him. "uh...well, we um...kissed." jimin quietly spoke the last word in a small whisper, but everyone had still heard as now their faces held a smile.

"what else?" taehyung urged, wanting jimin to spill the juicy details.

"we confessed our feelings and now we're dating," jimin spoke in a shy manner.

"i knew it!" taehyung yelled excitedly as he ran up to jimin and gave him a hug. "i'm so happy for you, jimin."

jimin smiled as he hugged his best friend back before letting go, jungkook coming up to him, holding hoseok's hand.

"yes?" jimin asked.

"so you guys kissed? like this?" jungkook asked as he pulled hoseok in for a quick soft kiss that left hoseok melting.

jimin nodded at jungkook's demonstration. "yeah, we kissed like that."

jungkook smiled happily. "jimin has a boyfriend now, like everyone else! and they kiss!"

hoseok let out a big fat uwu before pulling his boyfriend in for another kiss, not minding that everyone else was staring.

jimin smiled at the cute couple before going behind the counter, waiting for any customers to come.

as if on cue, the door or the animal shelter opened, the little bell making a sound as it did.

"good afternoon, how may i help you?" asked jimin without turning to the customer just yet.

"i'd like a kiss from my boyfriend."

jimin looked up, finding namjoon standing on the other side of the counter.

jimin smiled shyly before leaning over the counter, namjoon doing the same as he rested his elbows on the counter and leaning in close before connecting his lips with jimin's.

it was a short kiss that was interrupted by the sound of taehyung whistling.

jimin's cheeks turned a darker shade of pink this time as he turned to find all of his friends smirking at him. he nervously swallowed before looking back at namjoon, who seemed unbothered.

"namjoon, that's my best friend that you just kissed and who you're dating, so if you hurt him, i won't hesitate to hurt you as well," taehyung warned.

namjoon smiled as he came over to the other side of the counter so that he was standing beside jimin. "don't worry, i won't hurt him," he said as he turned to jimin.

jimin smiled before namjoon connected their lips once more, allowing his boyfriend to kiss him in front of all his friends. they all kissed in front of him anyway, so what's a little payback?

after pulling away, they gazed into each other's eyes lovingly.

"i love you, namjoon," jimin said.

"i love you too, my little kitten."

ahhhh this book has finally come to an end. i know it was shorter than kitty, but i just didn't want to drag the story on too long.
