⚠Cussing, possessive Kuroo, crying (but not for long)⚠

"I'm Kenma's mate?" Kuroo asked sounding shocked, this time making Kenma and Akaashi freeze.

"That is not important right now, what is important is that I get Kenma somewhere with a fan." Akaashi stated noticing sweat start to bead up on Kenma's forehead.

"This is very important if I can help him." Kuroo said back as he grabbed onto Kenma's hand, pulling him to his chest.

Akaashi was about to start fussing about how he shouldn't have done that and now Kenma might be in more pain but decided against it when he saw Kenma instantly wrap his arms around Kuroo's torso.

He buried his head into Kuroo's chest as his body tempter slowly returned back to normal.

Kuroo wrapped his arms around Kenma's shoulders and placed a hand on the back of his head, holding him closer.

"Kuroo-san, Akaashi-san, and Bokuto-san, the next set is starting and we all kind of need you." Lev said as he walked out of the door and faced them all.

Kenma let out a whimper at the thought of Kuroo no longer cuddling him as his grip on their hug tightened.

"Akaashi and I will be there in a minute, I don't think Kuroo-bro is going to be coming back though." Bokuto said getting a confused nod from Lev before he walked back into the gym, telling everyone that Kuroo was leaving because of an emergency.

"Can we go home? Please?" Kenma asked, his voice muffled by Kuroo's shirt.

"Of course Kitten." Kuroo replied as he picked Kenma up, placing him on his hip like a baby before he started to walk out to his car, Kenma instantly cuddling closer to him in the new position.

"If you hurt him in any way or do anything to him without his full willing consent then I will find you and use my talons to slowly and painfully rip you to shreds." Akaashi threatened Kuroo before letting them leave.

"I would never do any of those things ever so no need for you to go through with your threat. Now we will at the house if you need us, good luck in the game." Kuroo said trying to stay polite before waving by to Bokuto and leaving out to his car.

"Kitten I'm going to have to set you down in the passenger seat, we can still hold hands though and when we get home we can cuddle for as long as you want." Kuroo said as he unlocked the car and opened the passenger seat door.

Kenma nodded his head as Kuroo sat him down in the seat before shutting the door and running to the drivers seat.

Once inside of the car Kuroo's hand was taken by Kenma who laced their fingers together and nuzzled his head against his bicep.

"We will be home in ten minutes if I do the speed limit but only five if I go just a tad over." Kuroo said as he started to pull out of the parking lot.

Kenma nodded as his eyes shut, quiet purrs coming from him whenever Kuroo would run his thumb over his knuckles.

Once they got home they both got out of the car and Kenma was almost instantly back into a hug with Kuroo.

"Do you want to go to the living room to cuddle or one of our bedrooms?" Kuroo asked as he picked Kenma up once again, now walking over to the door to unlock it before going inside of the house.

"Whatever is most comfortable." Kenma mumbled into the crook of his neck where he had place his face.

"To my bedroom it is." Kuroo said knowing that his room had the most pillows and very soft blankets on his bed.

So Kuroo carried Kenma up the stairs and into his room before laying down onto the bed.

Kenma moved so he was now laying fully on top of Kuroo, their arms around each other, legs tangled, and Kenma's head on Kuroo's chest.

"Are you comfortable?" Kuroo asked as he ran a hand through Kenma's hair, his hand occasionally brushing against Kenma's ears making him purr loudly.

"Very." Kenma replied before asking, "Are you? And are you okay with all of this?" he sounded nervous and slightly scared for the answer.

"I am very comfortable actually and what do you mean by 'all of this'." Kuroo replied as he used his other hand to rub soothing circles onto Kenma's back.

".... I mean by you being my mate." Kenma said, his eyes watering slightly as he thought of Kuroo rejecting him and him dyeing because of it.

"Oh... Well I don't mind. I accept you as my mate and I really hope that you are okay with us being mates, I can be a little much at times." Kuroo said with a gentle smile as he looked down at Kenma.

"R-really? Are you sure what you're saying?" Kenma asked as he lifted his head up from Kuroo's chest to look him in the eyes.

"I know exactly what I am saying and I stick by it." Kuroo said now smiling larger than before.

Kenma smiled back at him, a blush going across his face before he hid in Kuroo's shoulder.

"So does this make us boyfriends now or do I have to ask that separately?" Kuroo asked getting a small laugh from Kenma.

"If you want to be boyfriends then we can be. It would make the most sense considering we are bound for life now." Kenma replied, Kuroo could feel his smile against his neck and shoulder.

"Not that I mind but I thought the bound for life thing was after the whole marking thing." Kuroo said sounding slightly confused.

"Well the mark is mostly to just show other people and hybrids that you are taken and not to mess with them. It also strengthens the bond but the overall bond all starts at the acceptance." Kenma explained getting a nod of understanding from Kuroo.

"So what should we do now? Should we do anything special?" Kuroo asked as Kenma relaxed fully against him.

"Now we cuddle or my inner Neko will feel neglected." Kenma replied as Kuroo grabbed the tv remote.

"I can do that, do you mind a movie while we cuddle though?" Kuroo stated before asking, already flipping through Disney+ movies.

"I'm probably going to fall asleep but you can watch the movie." Kenma replied as he shut his eyes.

"Okay, sleep well my Kitten." Kuroo said before pressing play on Tarzan knowing that the soundtrack was nice to fall asleep to and the movie itself was an amazing original.

Kuroo relaxed into the bed as Kenma slowly fell asleep on top of him.

"This will be a fun new start."
