Epilogue

"Where do we go now, young master?" Sebastian asked the young lord who was walking beside him while holding his beloved wife in his arms. "I think it's pretty clear what happens now." The youngest of them all said, grasping Phantomhive's hand in her own. "We don't have to go, Kira. We can go wherever the young master chooses." Everyone looked to the small boy, who untied his eyepatch for the final time and threw it to the ground. "I don't particularly care about you lot. I know I gave that order, but I shall only call when I need you, Sebastian. You are free to do as you please." The man named Sebastian Michaelis smiled, slightly tightening his grip on his wife, (Y/N) Michaelis. "Kira, it's time to go," said a voice from behind. Adrian Crevan would always be upset that his best friend had to leave, and he would be in denial for a long time over the fact that Ciel Phantomhive, his most entertaining colleague, had died and become a demon. The mortician remembered making a promise to the boy's parents as he reaped their souls. He vowed to look after their son. A single man tear slipped down his face as he draped his arm over Kira's shoulders, planting a short kiss on her temple as the two of them turned away from the others. The two of them slowly disappearing with each step until they finally vanished into thin air. Where they went, who knows. The silence was broken by (Y/N) stirring in Sebastian's arms, her eyes opening and flashing demon fuchsia. "I suppose we keep on keeping on," young Ciel Phantomhive said, slowly staring to disappear himself. "You'd better come when I call." There was no time to respond, as the boy had vanished as soon as the couple opened their mouths to respond. Sebastian set her wife down on the ground, taking her hand in his. "It's all over, but now it is time for a new beginning. What say you, my love? Shall we go?" She squeezed his hand, assuring him that she was, in fact, ready to begin her new life.

The year was 2016, and life couldn't have been busier. She bustled about the house, making sure everything was in order. She clapped her hands twice, scolding her husband for watching the telly when he should be checking on the dinner. Clap, clap. Her son wasn't dressed yet. Clap, clap. There was a massive pile of clothing belonging to her husband that needed to be folded and put away. Clap, clap. Her son had left his new console in a mess. "Honestly, boys, you need more house manners!" She lectured as the two of them stood before her, panting from all the hard work they just endured. "You can talk," her rebellious teenager started. "You've done nothing but order us about." She glared at her son, her eyes turning to fuchsia as she extended her fangs. "Damon Ross Michaelis, I have been rushing about this house all morning trying to keep a certain boy and his father in line. Speaking of, Sebastian, you need to be more responsible! You're turning into your son when it should be him turning into you!" Damon resisted the urge to laugh as his mother lectured his embarrassed father, who sent him a deadly glare, shutting him up instantly. "Kira, Adrian and Ciel are visiting today and I want the both of you to behave. Damon, that means no fighting with your sister, and Sebastian, no fighting with Adrian. Alright?" Both males nodded their heads just as the doorbell rang, the door bursting open to reveal Ciel Phantomhive wearing a simple, modern Butler outfit. (Y/N) cringed when she realized he had grown to be an inch and a half taller than Sebastian, which was extremely surprising. After Ciel came Kira grasping Adrian's hand, the both of them wearing goth-like outfits with piercings and tattoos. Sebastian was the first to recover from the state of her daughter, awkwardly welcoming them inside, while (Y/N) sighed and slapped her palm against her forehead. "Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I heard that motorbike outside, but honestly, I expected Damon to end up covered in ink and piercings, not you." Her daughter only giggled, wrapping her arms around her mother in a short hug. Yes, the year was 2016, and life couldn't have been better.

My dearest FanGrells. This is it. The end of the Kitten trilogy. It had been one hell of a ride and I can't wait to start on my next journey with you. I'm actually crying right now. When I started the first book, I never expected there to be a second or a third. I never expected to wake up every day and pull out my phone to see how many votes or comments I got on my new chapter. Thank you so much for sticking with me, Ciel, Sebastian and Kira until the end. When you're reading a series, you never expect/want it to end. But here we are. The last chapter. The last few pages. I'm so proud of the trilogy and I'm so proud of you. Reader-chan, I hope you enjoyed your experience on the Kitten series set, and I hope to see you again on the next one. See ya!
