Bard's P.O.V

I frowned as Maia, who was sitting beside me in the kitchen, let out a small dark chuckle, a smirk in her face as she stared at me floor. I brushed it off, but she seemed rather giddy ever since discovering that Sebastian was demon, not caring at all that he could possibly be dead within the next few days. "Bard," she whined, snuggling up to me before she asked, "You okay?" "Yeah," I quickly replied, "Just thinking" She frowned a little and nodded, rubbing her head up against my shoulder making me a little uncomfortable for a reason unknown to me. She grabbed my wrist just a little too tightly and I shivered, quickly withdrawing my hand as she smiled and left the kitchen. What is she up to? I stood up to go after her, feeling as though her suspicious behavior wasn't something to brush off like a speck of dust on my shoulder. As I stepped forward my foot jerked and I looked down to see a handcuff around my ankle, which was cuffed the the kitchen table somehow. This wouldn't have been a problem, if it weren't for Sebastian permanently nailing the table to the floor. Suddenly, as though on cue, the oven caught on fire, even though there was nothing in it. "Shit!" I shouted, trying desperately to lunge for the door and release my foot, the fire spreading slower than expected. In fact, if didn't seem to be spreading at all at the moment, just engulfing the entire pantry and not the rest of the kitchen. I suddenly beard loud gunshots before even louder screams and I recognized it to be Mey-Rin screaming in pure agony, and not long after Finny joined her. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON?!"

Well shit. Short chapter. I know. Writer's block is why. Anyway if you haven't seen my one shot book please go and read it. It would mean the world to me if you do. By the way, please give requests for a one shot! How can I perform well without the script?
