"So your going to Tennessee to find stefan?" I asked Elena, we are currently sitting down at a booth at mystic grill while she is telling me her plans on saving Stefan.

"Yes I've talked to Tyler he told me about a pack down there, so if I'm lucky Klaus may there too with Stefan" she says

"Alright fine even though I should be trying to stop you considering it's a full moon and all but knowing you it won't stop you, so promise me you'll come back alive?" I say to her taking a sip from my drink.

"Thanks your the best"

"I know" I joke "but are you sure you don't want me to come"

"Yeah I'm sure I can't risk anyone getting hurt" Elena says and gets up to leave.

"Fine as long as you don't get hurt" I say staying seated.

"Oh and before I leave can you keep Damon busy, I don't want him following me and dragging me back home" asks Elena

"Ah yeah... sure" I say and she leaves.

'Just great... just what I need to go see Damon.... Stop thinking like that if you make it awkward it will be awkward.' I thought to myself. Just as I was about to get up Tyler comes up to me.

"Hey iris have you seen Caroline"

"No why has something happened to her" I ask.

"Well I can't get in contact with her and you know her she always replies back no matter how busy she is" Tyler says

"Ok come down when was the last time you saw her?" I ask

"Ah well... She and I... were together" he says a bit embarrassed.

"Oh finally I was wondering when you two would get together" I say a bit excitedly.

"Yeah well as soon as I fell asleep she sneaked out of the house" he says

"Well maybe she's embarrassed I mean aren't you too friends maybe she didn't want to ruin that" I say

"Yeah maybe" was all he said then Matt walked up.

"Here you go Tyler" Matt put down his beverage

"Thanks" was all he said then took a sip and pulled a face.

"What is with my taste buds" Tyler says

"Oh that I put in vervain generally humans can't taste it but given your not entirely human maybe that's why you can taste it" Matt says and walks off.

"Thats what vervain tastes like?" Tyler asks

"Yeah why?" I questioned

"My mum put it in my coffee this morning I just thought the coffee beans where bad or something" he says

"So what you think your mum did something to caroline?" I ask

"I don't know... Maybe but I'm going to find out" Tyler says and leaves

"Oh ok well bye" I say to myself. I finish my drink and leave to go to the Salvatore house to keep Damon busy.

Once at the Salvatore house I knock, not even a second later Damon's at the door.

"Well hello sleeping beauty"

"Will you stop calling me that" I ask walking past him and into the house

"Why I think the name suits you" Damon says closing the door.

"Whatever" I say and put my bag down on the table

"So what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" Asks Damon

"I'm bored and know ones around to hang out with" I say

"Oh.... So you came here cause your bored" Damon says with a smirk and walking closer to me

"Its not what you think, now is there something to do here that doesn't require taking clothes off" I ask moving away from Damon and taking a seat on the couch.

"Your no fun" Damon says and starts pouring himself a drink, he gets another cup and hands it to me.

"Thanks but not much of a bourbon drinker" I say putting the drink down.

"Well I've got a game we can play, not sure after awhile you'll want to be sober" Damon says taking a drink

"What's the game" I ask not to sure I want the answer.

"Truth" was all Damon said

"Truth?" I question

"Yup like truth or dare but without the dare" he says

"You want to no the truth about me that much" I joke

"Well I think it's a good way,  besides your a mystery and I hate mysteries" he says finishing his drink, then grabs mine.

"Ok fine let's do it" I say.

At first it was basic questions like what's your favorite colour?, how many people have you slept with?, what underwear you prefer. Mainly the perverted ones where said by Damon. But then it got to the more personal question I would not like to answer, he said

"the morning after elena's birthday and after the fun we had you said we were both emotionally unstable what did you mean by that?"

'Crap I should have known it would come to this' I thought to myself.

"I could use that drink now" I said to Damon

"Told you you'll need it" Damon says and pours a drink for me, I take it from him. I gulp the whole think down and coughed. It's strong.

"Well?" Damon asks. I sigh.

"It was the day my boyfriend of three years died. That's what I meant when I said I knew how you feel, even though you were just using Andy I know you still cared for her" I say fiddling with the empty glass.

"How he die?" He asks

"Hey hey hey it's my turn" I say, Damon just gives me a look telling me to go ahead.

"How long have you liked Elena?" I ask

"I don't like Elena" Damon say defensively.

"Ah huh I'm sure, come on everyone knows it" I say. It was silent for a bit but he finally spoke.

"I don't know"

"Really that's the answer" I ask

"Well I don't know, how do you no when you start liking someone" Damon says getting angry.

"Well I think this got a little to real for this game" I say getting up.

"No sit down we haven't finished I want to know how he died" Damon says

"Last question then game over" I say and he nods

"He was killed in front of me. He and I were kidnapped, he was trying to protect me which ended his life" was all I could say, I mean I no the reason as to why we were kidnapped, the guy wanted me because I was a kitsune and he wanted revenge because of what another kitsune did to him.

"Why'd he kidnap you?" Damon asks

"Nope I said last question and I answered it so game over" I say

"I guess your right besides I think it's about time I get Elena" Damon says

"What why do you need to get Elena?" I ask

"Please you don't think I don't no what your doing. I no Elena asked for you to keep me busy while she hunts for Stefan" he says

"If you knew then why stay" I ask

"I wanted to see how you would keep me busy but it's almost night so I should get her, it was a great game" Damon says and speeds off.

"Sorry Elena looks like I couldn't keep Damon busy" I say to myself and pull out my phone and call Elena. Three rings later and she answers.

"Iris what is it?" Elena asks

"Sorry Elena I couldn't keep him busy he's on his wa-" I was cut of by a scream and a splash of water. "Elena what happened?"

I could hear voices on the other side I could tell it was Elena yelling at Damon and vise versa. So it looks like Damon found her that was really quick. I hung up the phone and decided to leave and go home. As soon as I turned the car on my phone rings.

"Great who is it this time"

I look at the caller ID and see it is Tyler.

"Hey Tyler any news on Caroline?" I ask

"Yeah my mum did something to her, I'm going to tell her the truth about me" Tyler says

"Wow really?" I ask

"Yeah and I need your help can you meet me at the old Lockwoods cellar" he asks

"Yeah sure meet you there" I say and hung up the phone.

After awhile I finally make it to my destination.

"Hello Tyler" I yell walking down the stairs

"Down here" he yells back. I can hear chains and his mom talking to him asking what's going on.

"So what you need?" I ask, not really looking at Tyler's mum.

"I need you to protect my mum, once I turn I have no idea what will happen" he says

"Sure but does that mean I have to stay of whole night like last time" I say

"Why got something better to do?" He asks

"Only going to miss my nice comfy bed" I joke

"I promise I'll owe you one and after this I'll let you sleep all you like in your nice comfy bed." Tyler says back

"You better" I say.

I start helping him get ready for the full moon, ignoring Tyler's mum, who kept asking questions.

"What time is is?" Tyler asked after awhile.

"Just a little bit till the moon is up" I say looking at my watch.

"What going to happen once the moon is up? And why have you chained up my son?" Tyler's mum asks more questions.

"You will see who is truly a monster" just as Tyler had finished saying that he grunts in pain.

"Tyler what's happening?" Tyler's mum asked scared.

"Go. Keep her safe" Tyler says to me.

"Aye aye captain" I say joking with a fake salute and drag Tyler's mum into a cell and shut the gate tiedly so Tyler couldn't come in once he transform into a wolf.

"Whats going on? What happening?" Yells Tyler's mum.

"Its in my blood, it's a family curse" Tyler says

"What curse? What's happening?" She asks.

Tyler screams in pain again, he lifts his head up to show his fangs and glowing eyes. Tyler's mum screams and backs up.

"Hey it's ok, calm down" I say and try to comfort her

"W-w-whats happening, what is he?" She asks frightened.

I begin to explain everything to her, about her son, the curse, other supernatural things, as well as about me being a kitsune, which was hard considering I tell no one, well no one knows besides Tyler but I'm starting to think maybe the others should no too.

It was finally morning and Tyler wakes up, I chuck him his clothes, he just looks at his mum.

"I'll take care of it" was all she said.

Once everything was packed up we were at our cars.

"Thanks for staying" Tyler says to me

"No problem what are friends for" I say with a yawn at the end. "Now if you don't mind I'm going to go home and sleep"

"Yeah sorry I owe you" he says walking back to his car.

"I'll keep you to that, I hope Caroline okay" I shout to him

"Yeah me too, see you later" was all he said and got in the car with his mum.

Once I got in my car my phone rings.

"Hello" I answered tiredly

"Hi iris how are you why do you sound tired?" Asks Elena

"Oh you know I had to stay up all night and watch Tyler transform in front of his mum.

"What she knows now" Elena asks

"Yeah she had something to do with Caroline's disappearance but I think it will work out fine" I say and start my car. "But how are you, I see your still alive, I tried to stop Damon but it seems he already new what you were up to"

"Yeah I'll explain everything later, probably once you have slept." Elena says

"Haha yeah that would be nice I'll see you later bye" I say and hang up. I drive home and sleep in my nice comfy bed.
