22.) Winter Season
You peeps reading this! Comment! I love reading comments! Now for the long awaited chapter! ⚠️ The next few chapters will be much more mature!
The cold weather has rolled in, snow covering everything like a large blanket, but far more interesting things are beginning.
Perched on a building overlooking the city, sits Paris' four resident superheroes, watching over Paris like guardian angels. All of which have a costume change. The twins outfit has changed to white for the winter weather, the inside lined with soft but warm fur. Chat and Ladybug have just thicker outfits to keep them warm as well.
"It's quiet t-tonight," Ladybug shivers, the cold getting to her from not moving as she would during an akuma attack.
"And c-cold," Chat chatters, holding himself to keep warm.
I move over near Chat and link one of my arms with his. "Warmer?"
"A-always, little heater," Chat purrs, cheeks flushed.
Zorro moves behind Ladybug to hug her from behind. "I could see you shivering," Zorro chuckles.
"Zorro, l-let go," Ladybug groans, trying to hide her reddening cheeks.
Zorro chuckles and reluctantly lets go. "You know you like it."
I move away from everyone, gathering a handful of snow from the ground and shaping it into a ball. I pull my arm out and aim it at Chat. "Hey, Chat!" He turns and gets a face full of snow.
The snow slowly falls off his face. "S-so, n-not c-c-cool."
My brother begins to laugh with me.
"Guys, be serious," Ladybug sternly says.
Chat snags a bunch of snow into his hands, forming it into a ball. "After I-I do this!" He throws the ball at me but I blow a breath of fire at the ball, melting it immediately. "So unfair!"
I chuckle. "Even if I didn't flamethrower it, the heat I'm radiating from my body would've melted it before it touched me. Notice how wherever we stand there's no snow or a puddle of water?"
Both Chat and Ladybug look down at our feet to find no snow beneath us.
"Didn't notice that before," Ladybug says. "Why?"
"It's like a winter coat thing," Nathan explains. "Foxes get thicker coats for winter, so our power heats us up when it's colder."
"That makes sense," Ladybug admits. "Alright, let's move on."
Ladybug swings off the building first then goes my brother. Chat leaps up onto the rail in his usual stance before he leaps to follow the other two. I immediately turn to face away, face flushed. Lately my mind has been getting clouded with dirty dirty thoughts about Chat. His constant flirting has given me a hard time to control myself. I've been incredibly conscious of how tight his leather skin tight suit is, making me look in a place I shouldn't be looking down at.
I blast off after them.
~~~
Winter has finally rolled around and this morning you could definitely feel the brisk air. It's a Monday morning and I get up after Gabrielle's wake up call. I do what I usually do for my morning routine for school. Get up, shower, dry off, hairdryer, brush teeth, clothes, makeup, and then head downstairs for breakfast with my brother.
"Uh, Mira, I have something important to tell you," Flamme sighs as I sit down to put on my makeup.
"I don't like the way you said that," I laugh. "Why are you being so serious? You're never this serious sounding."
"During the Winter, you might find some changes in your... emotions."
"Meaning?" I ask, turning to him, still not used to him being completely white for winter. His fur changed white just like the suit.
"Meaning just what I said. You've already felt some of these changes," Flamme says. "Being part fox, you're going to be affected by the things foxes do or more like what Miraculous holders go through."
"So I'm gonna get a fluffy winter coat or something?" I joke.
"No," Flamme says. "You're going to have weird cravings and urges."
"Okay, now you're starting to freak me out," I admit, slinging my purse over my shoulder then pull my backpack on.
"I'm just giving you a fair warning."
"Fair warning for what?" I ask.
"You'll soon find out," Flamme says, disappearing into my purse.
I roll my eyes, blowing off what he said. I head down to the dining room to greet Nathan once there.
"Hey, did Flamme give you some kind of warning?" he asks.
"Yeah, did Zorra too?"
"Yeah, it's making me nervous," he admits.
"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about," I say. "They're probably overacting for something."
"If you say so."
We finish up our breakfast and head to the front to get in the limo. After arriving, we're greeted by Marinette and Alya.
"Hey, twinsies!" Alya calls out, walking up to us.
"Mari, you look great today," Nathan suddenly comments, surprising both Alya and I.
"Y-your face looks good! I-I m-mean you nice look! Ah! You look nice!" she stutters out a blushing mess.
Alya and I look at each other confused and shrug.
"Alright, come on. Let's get to our lockers for our stuff," Alya says, pulling me along with her and leaving the two to follow behind. "What just happened?" Alya asks.
"I think he worked up some courage to flirt," I gape. "Did our ship just set sail?"
"I think it did," Alya chuckles.
We laugh as we head to the locker room to get what we need. We separate to our different lockers.
I shut my locker door and behind it is Adrien. "Hi, purriness."
I give a shrill yip, jumping back a bit. "Jeez, Adrien, you scared me."
"Sorry, just wanted to tell you that you look really good in that dress today."
"U-um, thanks..." I mutter, looking at my feet to hide my blush. What is wrong with me?! I take in the way his clothes fit him, my eyes moving across his body. I quickly force myself to turn away. "W-we should h-hurry to our class. We don't wanna be late."
"Let's go then," Adrien says, moving beside me out the door.
We pass by a few other students, eyeing and whispering to each other about the two of us.
"You think two of the school's idols are dating?" a girl asks another.
My cheeks flush. Do people think that?
"I wouldn't be surprised," the friend responds.
"That's two of how many?" a boy asks. "We have like 6 idols at this school?"
"Yeah, Mirabelle and Nathan, Adrien, Mireille, Chloe, and Aurore," the first girl answers. "Though no one really cares for Chloe."
"I'd totally go out with Mirabelle," the boy comments.
"Yeah, she's hot!" the second boy responds.
Adrien seems to hear them too and pulls me closer to him, glaring over his shoulder. What is he doing?
After heading up the stairs, he releases me. I give him a questioning look that he seems to ignore as we walk around the maintenance man fixing one of the light fixtures on a tall ladder. I wave to my brother, who's outside the classroom, waiting for me. I watch as his eyes widen and begins running towards me.
"W-watch out!" a shout is heard.
Suddenly I'm shoved on the floor and hovering over me is Adrien, holding up the ladder we passed with his back.
"A-Adrien!" I shout, noticing a red droplet splatter on the ground.
"Kids! Are you alright?" the maintenance man asks, rushing to get the ladder off Adrien and helping him up.
"Adrien! Mirabelle!" Nathan shouts, running up to us with Marinette, Alya, and Nino behind him.
"I-I'm fine," I mumble, sitting up with a small wince.
Adrien's eyes are covered by his hair and holds a hand out to me. I take it and he pulls me to my feet. "Are you okay?" he whispers harshly.
"I'm fine!" I huff. "But you are not!" I turn to my brother. "Tell Bustier what happened, I'm taking Adrien to the nurse."
"Are you sure?" Alya asks. "One of us can come with?"
"No, it's fine," I reassure, pulling Adrien gently along. I shove the door to the nurses office open to find no nurse. "What the hell... Never here when you need them..." Just like my parents... "Sit over there."
"But–"
"No, I know you're bleeding." I can smell it... I huff, shuffling through drawers and cabinets, frantically opening and slamming them to look for medical supplies. "Jesus, Adrien. You could've killed yourself doing that..."
"I was saving you..."
"Then push us both out of the way!" I shout. "There's lots of other options you could've chosen instead of throwing yourself in harms way like you always do!"
He looks at me quizzically. "Like I always do?"
My eyes widen after realizing my mistake, unnoticed by him as I dig through drawers, finding what I need. "Turn around and let me see your back."
"I can do it myself."
"No, just turn around!" I shout.
His eyes widen, unused to the angry shout and turns around, lifting his shirt up to his shoulders.
"Oh my God... Adrien..." I gasp, looking at the large cut and my eyes glaze over all the other scars he's gained from being Chat Noir, healing slowly from Ladybug's ladybugs fixing everything, even him. "God, you might need stitches..." I trace my finger over the most recent scar that's beginning to heal, causing him to tense.
"T-that was a from a fencing accident," he quickly lies.
I roll my eyes, knowing it was from the akuma attack the other day where he was skimmed by a car, the one time Ladybug didn't use a Lucky Charm to fix everything. "This is going to hurt."
"Not like it doesn't alre—Ow! That's stings!"
"I told you," I sigh, cleaning the wound and dressing it. "Finished."
He tugs his shirt down and turns to me, still not showing me his face. "Thanks."
"Adrien, look at me," I demand.
He sighs. "No."
I grab his face and jerk it up. "A-Adrien!" I huff, seeing the gash across his cheek.
"I didn't want you to worry anymore than you already have. You shouldn't worry about me..."
"That could scar and that's not good for a model to have."
"Maybe I don't wanna model!" He crosses his arms, pouting like a child.
I sigh, knowing about him being forced to model. I bring a cotton ball with some alcohol up to his cheek and he winces away. "I'm sorry."
"No, I am..."
"It's alright." I lean closer to examine it better, gently dabbing the cleaner against his cheek. We remain silent. "And don't think for a second that I shouldn't worry about you. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. I care about you."
"Mirabelle..." Adrien whispers, one hand gripping my waist.
I jerk back a little. "A-Adrien?"
He snakes his other hand around my hip, pulling me closer. "You're doing things to me... being this close... whispering sweet things..."
His voice is so... husky all a sudden... What's gotten into him? I suck in a breath. "I was just cleaning your cut."
"Your lips were almost touching my own." He pushes me down against the bed and I can't help but give in, wanting it as much as he does. He curls his face to my neck, giving me kisses along my collar.
I gasp, recollecting my thoughts. "A-Adrien!" I sit up but that doesn't stop him.
"I've been waiting," he murmurs, digging his fingers into my waist.
The opposite door from the one we came in begins to open and the two of us separate before the nurse enters. My cheeks are on fire.
"Oh!" she says upon seeing us. "Is there something I can do for you?"
"He got a cut on his face!" I squeak and rush out the door. Once the door is closed, I lean against it and slide to the floor, trying to calm my racing heart. Flamme flies out from my bag. "Flamme! What's wrong with me?! I couldn't help myself! Why'd it feel so right?!"
"Hormones," he answers.
"Flamme!" I huff.
"No, I'm serious," Flamme sighs. "This is what I was warning you about this morning. Your hormones have mixed with a foxes hormones and winter is–"
"Mating season," I finish with a gasp.
"Bingo," Flamme says. "The other Miraculous holders are also in mating season, meaning you're all horny."
My face flares after hearing him giggle. "Flamme!"
"I'm just saying."
I huff. "Then why aren't you affected?"
"I've been through this for over 10,000 years. Doesn't mean I won't say anything occasionally dirty."
"Yeah, sometimes I forget you're a dirty old man."
"You should head to class," Flamme huffs, trying to ignore the old man comment. "You've calmed down enough."
I take a deep breath and stand up, opening my bag for Flamme to head back into. "Thanks a lot for not being more specific this morning..." I grumble, walking to my class.
I enter the classroom and immediately all eyes are on me.
"I heard what happened," Ms. Bustier says concerned. "Are the two of you alright?"
"Yes, mademoiselle," I bow. "Adrien's back took most of it, resulting in a large cut. He has a small cut on his cheek. I'm not hurt thanks to his heroism. He's getting patched up as we speak."
"Hope he's alright. Thanks for the update. You may take your seat."
I nod and head to my desk.
"Mira!" Chloe cries. "You're not hurt are you?! I'd hate to see you taking a break because of injury from an idiotic light changer!"
"I'm fine, thanks Chloe." I give her a smile before taking my seat next to my brother.
"Are you really okay?" Nathan whispers.
"My back is a little sore from the fall but it'll go away," I reassure.
"Jeez, I was so worried..." he takes a breath.
"Adrien took a major blow from that damn ladder," I scoff. "His cut is deep. He might need stitches."
"Will he be able to go on patrol?"
"I-I don't know..."
"Yeah, the cut was really gross," Flamme inquires.
"Go away, I'm mad at you," I fuss, grabbing his tail and stuffing him back into my bag.
"Why?"
"That little warning they gave us this morning. They didn't specify."
"Right?" Nathan gives me a continue expression.
I sigh. "All the Miraculous holders are in heat."
"That... explains a lot actually..." Nathan blushes. His face contorts to disgust after a few moments. "Eww!"
"Shouting in the middle of class will not be tolerated, Monsieur Flamber," Ms. Bustier scolds.
"Sorry, mademoiselle," Nathan says, bowing his head.
"Jeez," I whisper. "What are you ewwing about?"
"I just imagine Master Fu..."
"Eww!" I shout.
"Flamber twins!"
"Sorry!" we apologize.
"That's disgusting..." I mutter. "You know... I wonder if he even is affected?"
"Or Hawkmoth."
"True."
"Flamber twins, is there something you'd like to share with the class?"
"No! Sorry! We'll be quiet now!"
She sighs, continuing her lessons. We try to ignore the confused stares from everyone, we never get called out. Adrien comes into the room.
"Adrikins!" Chloe screams, rushing up to him and giving him a hug.
Adrien winces. "Chloe... you're hurting me."
"Oh! Sorry!" Chloe shrieks, backing up some. "Are you okay? Oh you're beautiful face was harmed! It was so brave of you to protect Mirabelle like that!"
"Chloe, please return to your seat," Ms. Bustier sighs. Chloe huffs, reluctantly heading back to her seat. "Did you call your father? Are you alright?"
"Yeah, he didn't answer," Adrien spits, sadly but also with annoyance. "I'm fine. Thanks for the concern." Adrien looks up to me and I bury my face in my books. His gaze falls to the floor as he moves to his seat.
Nathan looks between the two. "Something happened."
"Shut up, bro."
Nathan snickers. "Make me."
I groan, hoping school would end faster.
~~~
School didn't pass fast enough. Adrien going out of his way to talk to me and me going out of my way to avoid him, knowing I'm going to have to confront him eventually. Especially if tonight is our night to patrol, though he doesn't know me but that doesn't make it any less awkward.
Throughout the day, it was awkward for everyone. Nathan and Marinette ended on top of each other after Marinette tripped and fell onto him, knocking him over. It was noticeable to me that they tried desperately not to cave in and kiss. Quite a few other instances happened like that too.
"Are you going to be okay tonight?" Nathan asks me.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I should... go check on Adrien to see if he feels up to it. If not I'll come get you."
He sighs. "Alright."
"Flamme, you ready?" I ask.
"All charged up!" he swells.
"Great, Flamme, tricks out!" I call out, feeling the transformation wash over me. "See ya tomorrow, bro!" I leap off my balcony and jump onto Adrien's balcony after a short flight. I knock on the window before letting myself in. "Adrien?"
"Time for patrol already?" he groans.
I flinch, seeing him rise from the bed. Control yourself... His voice... Oh God. I hate this... "I saw the accident you had today. Do you think you can still patrol?"
"Kitsune!" Plagg cheers, rushing up to give my cheek a hug.
"Hey, Plagg," I greet, giving him a little scratch under his chin.
"Aah... You know how to treat a cat right..." he sighs, purring into the scratches.
"Traitor..." Adrien jokes, pulling himself off his bed with a wince. "Yeah, I took a nap right when I got home after I got some stitches. Dad's orders."
"Aww, so he does care."
"Only for me to get back to work," Adrien sighs.
"Yeah," I sigh, knowing the pain.
"Can I ask you something?" he asks.
"Uh, depends."
"Have you ever done something that was so wrong but felt so right?" He sighs. "I've been having dirty thou–"
"Wait," I stop him, looking to Plagg. "You did tell him, didn't you?"
"Tell me what?" Adrien asks.
"Tell him what?" Plagg asks.
"Why he's having sudden sexual urges?" I answer.
"OH!" Plagg shouts, turning to Adrien. "You've been having sexual urges?"
"No! Yes! N–"
"Oh, is it that time already?" Plagg asks.
"Really Plagg?" I scoff.
"Ugh," Plagg groans. "Every winter season is when the Miraculous holders experience a strong sensation caused by temptation down in a certain location."
"Plagg! Gross!" I shout.
He cackles. "Sorry, dirty thoughts. I'm affected too. Jeez."
"What is he talking about?" Adrien asks.
"Mating season," I answer.
"Meaning you're all horny for each other for a month," Plagg casually says, eating some cheese. "Yeah, forgot to tell you. Whoops."
"Oh. My. GOD!" Adrien shouts. "How am I going to explain this to Mirabelle?!"
Plagg freezes, cheese pausing halfway from his mouth. His eyebrow arches and gives me a glance. My cheeks flush and I quickly give my cheeks a few light slaps.
Plagg begins to cackle. "Wait, what happened? I was asleep all day."
"I held her down and gave her kisses on her neck!" Adrien shouts, gripping his hair and crouching down. Plagg bursts out laughing. "Plagg, it's not funny! I-I don't even l-love her!"
"Obviously you do!" Plagg giggles. "My kits don't pounce on anyone they don't like!"
"A-ah! I-I'm gonna head out I-I shouldn't be h-here!" I manage to squeak out and blast off to the Eiffel Tower, hearing Plagg laugh louder behind me.
~~~
To say patrol wasn't awkward, would be lying. The atmosphere around the two of us was tense and thick as hell. It was quiet tonight both on the streets and between the two of us. Slowly the time rolls to 12, the time to go home.
"Kitsune, wait," Chat says, grabbing my wrist before I can leave. "I-I'm sorry... for earlier."
"It's fine..." I mutter. "It's the hormones. It's making us all a little... well horny."
"Heh, yeah..." he mutters. "I just wanted to make sure things weren't awkward."
"Chat, I gotta go," I sigh, hearing my cuff lose a bar.
"Stay," Chat pleads, gripping my arm. "We've played this game long enough. I want to know who's behind the mask."
I have a flashback to the nurses office. "Chat, I don't think that's a good idea... Not yet. Not now..."
"Please, it's not fair that you know who I am and I don't know who you are," he pouts, pulling me close.
Another beep resounds through the area, this time coming from Chat's ring.
"Chat..."
"Why call me that if you know who... I... am..." he whispers, edging closer.
He brings his face to my neck, giving a few kisses down my neck. I whimper. "A-Adrien..."
"Tell me you don't want this and I'll stop..." he purrs.
He moves down to my collarbone and bites down, sending a moan out my throat. He picks me up and my legs automatically wrap around his waist, setting me down on a ledge of the rooftop and continuing to litter kisses up my neck to my jawline. Another beeps resound through the area, stopping Chat from going further.
"W-we're a-about to change back..." I murmur. "I-I'm not ready for you to-to know."
"Please, my little vixen?"
I use all my willpower to shove him back, turning my head away from looking at his most likely hurt expression. "I-I'm sor–" I cut myself off at hearing the clinking sound of his baton against the ground. I look up to watch his figure disappear in the distance and fall to my knees. "I'm sorry, Adrien..."
