I thought to myself as I secretly followed, Lucina to the castle gardens.. Goddesses.. She's so beautiful..

She pushed open the heavy doors to the garden, and I wanted to help, but she got them herself with her... Uh... Muscles..? I don't know, but she opened the doors. I looked down at the small bouquet of daisies in my hand..

"Are these Enough..?"

I thought to myself. But I ignored my fears, and walked out beside her, hiding the flowers in my coat. "Hello, Lucina." I said. She turned her head to face me, then greeted me with a smile. "Hello, Robin. Fancy meeting you here." She said.

Sweat ran down my cheek.

"Um.. Actually.. I followed you.. I wanted to give you these." I said, taking the flowers out of my coat, holding her hand and placing them in her palm... Blushing... I was blushing a lot...

"Oh, Robin! Did you pick flowers for me?" Lucina asked. I nodded. "They're absolutely beautiful! And they smell, heavenly!" She said, with her smile that melts my heart.

"...I'm glad you like them." I said, returning her smile. Her smile slowly faded after that. "..We had no flowers in my world.. The whole land was barren.." She said. I put a hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile.

She looked down in what looked like sorrow for awhile. "...But enough of that. Tell me, what are we celebrating, Robin?" She asked. "Crap.." "Nothing really.. I just thought you could use some cheering up." I said.

"Perfect recovery."

Lucina sighed. "You really shouldn't worry about me so-.." I cut her off. "It's no trouble.. I-... You're a dear friend, and I want to do anything I can to help." I said, giving her a smile. "I almost just told her I loved her.. Wow.." We were both silent after that, just looking at each other. Until I realized.. I had to confess.. Or I never will.

"...Actually, I'm not being entirely honest.." I said, scratching the back of my neck. "You ARE a dear friend to me. And the daughter of a true friend, but..." Lucina cocked her head.. Adorable.. "But...?"

I took a deep breath.

"But you are much more than that! Much more! I didn't pick that bouquet to cheer you up... I did it because.."

"OKAY.. HERE WE GO..."

"Because I'm in love with you..." I turned into a blushing mess. "What?"

"Lucina, I've fallen helplessly in love with you! I tried not to, but I couldn't!"

"Oh, Robin..." Lucina stuttered. She seemed lost for words, but I was probably a lot less red... Right..?

"We've been through so much, and I know many trials still await us... But no matter what happened or what is to come, my feelings cannot change!" I held her hand and cupped her cheek with my other hand.

"I love you, Lucina. With all my heart."

I was probably red faced, slightly panicking, and panting like I was a dog. But I didn't care. It felt nice to get these words off my chest... I think she was tearing up a bit..

"I.. I'm so glad you told me all of this... Because you are in my heart as well..." Lucina said, wrapping her arms around me.

"Truly..?" She nodded and looked up at me. "Oh, those must be the sweetest words I've ever heard!" I embraced her in my arms then we both pulled away. "Lucina, I promise no matter what: I will be there for you and, Chrom. Whatever road you choose to follow, I shall follow at your side." "And we won't stop until we reach the end, together!" I knew she was definitely tearing up now, her voice was hoarse and slightly cracking.

I leaned in and kissed her on the lips, then pulled back, only to have her embrace me again.

"..I love you.. And no matter what the future holds.. I'm going to cherish.. Every moment.."
